Clean and tidy room with good service and good front staff receptionist, cleaners were friendly too Water pressure was amazing, very strong, feels like a good massage after a long day Location was quite off, as it required to turn into a compound and the nearest train station was probably 15-20 min walk away (Xujiahui station)

The hotel is located in an old office building. The room decor felt very rough around the edges, with a sloppy paint job. Wallpaper was peeling in the corners, and the paint was flaking off the bathroom door handle. That night, we found an insect – specifically, a drain fly. I wasn't in the room during the day, but when I returned at night, there was a very strong, almost choking odor. I hoped I'd get used to it (olfactory fatigue), but I couldn't adapt even by the time I fell asleep. It was that distinct, heavy smell often found in older budget hotels. The front desk offered a room change, but by then our luggage was unpacked and our child was about to sleep, so we didn't have the energy to move. The air conditioning unit blew directly onto the bed. Above 23°C, it largely stayed inactive, then would suddenly blast cold air, chilling the sleeping occupant from head to toe. Below 22°C, it was absolutely freezing. While adults could manage by bundling up in blankets, for families with children, this is a major deterrent. The front desk constantly badgered us for good reviews, asking in various ways. They'd call to ask for one, and again during check-out. How could I possibly give a good review for *this* room? I couldn't bring myself to do it, so I refused. I was initially going to leave a terrible review, but since they kindly extended our check-out time until 4 PM, I'm giving it an average rating instead. I think that's very fair. This was my first time at an Atour hotel, and it will definitely be my last. Good morning, good afternoon, and good night to you.

Ample parking is available right at the entrance, which is a huge plus. The hotel breakfast was varied and very tasty.

The room was decent... but seriously, avoid Room 619. If there's construction going on directly opposite, congratulations – you and your room will be completely exposed.

This is quite a nice hotel with a good location. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including a buffet restaurant that offers excellent value for money. The service is attentive, and it's a mid-range establishment. Breakfast is acceptable. Plus, within a 2-kilometer radius, you'll find a Catholic church over 400 years old and a large library, making it ideal for extended stays!

The surroundings were nice and clean, and the hygiene was good. However, the staff's attitude was just average. What really left a bad impression was when I requested the 'goodnight milk' amenity, and they simply brought a standard carton of Jindian brand milk. This really spoiled the experience for me. They did offer a souvenir as compensation when I checked out. Even with the compensation, I feel it's important to give this feedback. It completely missed the point of 'goodnight milk'. If all I'm getting is a basic carton of milk, I might as well just buy it myself at 7-Eleven.

Facilities: Pretty standard, but overall acceptable. Cleanliness: Also standard, and generally fine. Location: A bit difficult to find. My taxi driver and I briefly thought we were lost, but just follow the navigation. On the upside, it's close to a residential area with many local snack options. Service: The front desk staff were attentive and proactively asked if we needed anything.

Nice hotel, good location. But the square out of the hotel does not function well. Breakfast is okay.

The hotel location is quite nice, with many good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The staff was really friendly and even upgraded my room.

Good location for eating and shopping! It is good hotel for staying for family tour and business trip! Every time when I visit Shanghai I always select here for staying!

Very good stay for all Atour hotel. Good location with many food choices in walking distance.

I love the Atour hotel brand, and they always deliver. I booked a long stay this trip and the team did their best to make me feel comfortable. The location is great, food options and massage parlours within 500m. The room’s toilet seat had a tiny bit of stain when I checked in on the first day, but since they provided alcohol swipes in the toilet, I used it to clean and it’s gone.
