Very good location, just about 100m from subway south Shanxi Road Exit 4, Hotel has two buildings the old mansion and and a new one. We stayed at he new buildings garden room. Very nice and quiet location ring in the most bustling area. Very nice and friendly staff, included breakfast was okay and freshly prepared (like their churros). Noodle soup cost additional.

As I needed to pick someone up from the airport in the evening, I specifically chose a hotel near the airport, believing that a property under the Huazhu Group would be a reliable choice. However, I was sorely disappointed. Upon entering to check in, as I walked towards the front desk (about 6 meters away), the staff member looked up at me, then immediately lowered her gaze. Even when I reached the counter, she didn't look up until I spoke to say I wanted to check in. Only then did she lift her unwelcoming face and curtly asked, 'Do you have a reservation?' before instantly taking a phone call. Thankfully, another front desk attendant came to assist me, and her attitude was acceptable. This, however, was not the main issue. My primary complaints are three-fold: 1. The air conditioning vent was poorly designed, blowing directly onto my head, which resulted in a very uncomfortable and sleepless night. 2. Although the booking stated complimentary airport shuttle service was provided, it ceased at 6 PM. This was highly inconvenient, as the evening was precisely when we needed it most. 3. The elevators can be accessed without a key card, allowing anyone to reach any floor, which is a serious security flaw. This is an honest and factual review. I will not be staying here again.

Visiting Shanghai for a short trip, I initially only expected a comfortable place to sleep, but this place turned out to be a shining highlight of my journey! 📍The location is absolutely unbeatable – just a ten-minute taxi ride to the Bund, perfect for an evening stroll to enjoy the breeze and grab some butterfly pastries. The hotel offers its own parking lot, which was incredibly convenient. You can even see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower right from the parking area, making for a completely seamless and worry-free experience! 🏨The room details were astonishing, perfect for anyone who appreciates the finer points: an automatic toilet, electric curtains, and a mini-fridge are all provided. The bedside control panel allows for one-touch switching between sleep and reading modes. The bathroom is also spacious and clean, with a full range of toiletries. The overall experience was simply top-notch! Upon checkout, the front desk staff even gave us a thoughtful little souvenir. Next time I visit Shanghai, I'll definitely choose Manxin Hotel North Bund again! 🌟Hats off to the incredibly capable staff: the hand-drawn 'local hidden gems map' from the front desk lady was spot-on for this artsy youth! Every evening, returning to my room, I found different turndown service gifts – the first day, it was a City God Temple vanishing cream, and the second day, a gilded calligraphy bookmark with my name on it! The shuttle driver, hearing we had an early morning flight, quietly prepared portable breakfast boxes for us! 🍜Culinary Delights: The freshly cooked local Shanghai-style noodles with various toppings at the breakfast station were my ultimate source of happiness! The caramelized abalone braised pork and crab roe soup dumplings were so delicious, I wanted to apprentice with the chef! And for just about 100 RMB per person at the rooftop bar, you can enjoy the iconic 'Lujiazui Three-Piece Suit' skyline at night – the value for money absolutely blew any nearby observation decks out of the water! When I returned with fresh pork mooncakes bought from Yunnan North Road, the doorman uncle smiled and said in Shanghainese, 'You've got good taste, little one!' In that moment, I suddenly understood what it truly means for a 'hotel to be a home away from home.' If I ever come back to Shanghai, I will absolutely re-book this hotel again and again!

The hotel is located in Xiadu town, making it very convenient, especially for dining. Restaurants in Xiadu town offer a wide selection of Chinese and Western cousins for you to explore every day, so you never get tired of the menu. The rooms are spacious, bright, and thoughtfully designed, providing a very comfortable stay. What really stands out is the front desk service. Any issues I had were resolved immediately, and even when I was away from the hotel, a quick phone call got me the help I needed right away. It felt like having a personal concierge. From the moment you arrive, the hotel feels warm and welcoming—almost like coming home. A special mention to Ms. Yao at the front desk, who always seemed to anticipate guest needs, handled everything efficiently, and made my stay stress-free.

The hotel felt quite new and recently renovated. I chose to stay here because I was playing sports nearby, and it was too far to go home. The shower water consistently felt a bit cool. While there's a gym, all the equipment is used and unfortunately out of order. A laundry room is available, and rooms are equipped with hairdryers. Breakfast is served on the first floor, offering some basic options. Free parking is a plus, and the service was decent. It was very quiet at night. Rooms feature a smart lighting system, which adds a modern touch. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

First, let me praise the hotel. The night shift staff were really nice. A woman named Zhang and a boy named Cheng were both very helpful. The location is very close to Disneyland, and there's a shuttle bus. The environment is acceptable. However, farmland is in front and behind, so it's quite noisy, with machinery rustling. The hotel is actually located in a village, quite far from the city. I wouldn't have chosen to stay here if it weren't for visiting Disneyland. The hotel's cleanliness is really average. It's just newly opened, but the carpet is filthy. When I entered the room, I found a dead mosquito on the duvet cover! Room cleaning is limited to taking out the trash; it seems like even the hair on the floor wasn't swept. There's only one washing machine and one dryer per building. The daytime front desk service feels inferior to the night shift. Not every guest gets a souvenir upon check-out. I was standing by, but she gave it to the person checking out after me, and didn't offer it to us. Of course, I didn't want any. The hotel still uses the promotional tactic of offering free breakfast for memberships, but since I wasn't staying long at the Disneyland Resort, I didn't really care.

Since we didn't leave Shanghai during the May Day holiday, we made an appointment with friends to go to Songjiang. The hotel has a great location. There are various restaurants as soon as you go out. The Internet celebrity restaurant Gucang is also next door. We booked a loft room, which is not in the same building as other rooms. Later we found out that our building should be converted from the previous grain storage tank, which is quite special. The parent-child room booked by my friend is squarer than the loft, so it feels more spacious. It is also divided into upstairs and downstairs. There will be a place like a small terrace upstairs. If there are many people traveling together and want to get together to chat, the parent-child room is a better choice. The hotel is generally very good. The young men and women at the front desk are very friendly. Knowing that our group of friends have booked several rooms, they took the initiative to help us arrange them together, which is nice.
