"I got an upgrade to an executive room on the top floor. The room was quite spacious, with a round table and two chairs.
**Cleanliness:** The environment was clean and odorless.
**Environment:** The hotel has a grand exterior and is close to the train station; I walked over in about 15 minutes. The restaurant on the first floor is large and elegant. There's a bar in the lobby offering coffee, cakes, and afternoon tea. The hotel also has a shop.
**Service:** They provided welcome fruits and upgraded my room. I booked a package through Ctrip, which included a coconut chicken hotpot dinner (or I could choose the Jacaranda afternoon tea).
When I checked out, they even gave me a souvenir photo frame, tamarind candy (which was delicious!), and hand warmers – very thoughtful!
Overall, I felt it was great value for money. Highly recommend!"

GGuest UserA hidden gem of a B&B tucked away in the Expo Park, with an amazing atmosphere! The front desk lady upgraded us to a room with a private hot spring and even provided afternoon tea. The breakfast, while simple, used really good ingredients. The service was excellent; they were super helpful in mailing back something I left behind. The cleaning staff always greeted me with a smile. I definitely want to come back when the maple leaves turn red!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's design is truly unique and thoughtful, and the service was proactively attentive and thorough. They even provided a complimentary extra bed for our party of three. The room layout was very practical, with the walk-in closet seamlessly connecting to the bathroom. I especially loved the Kohler brushed faucets – definitely adding them to my wishlist! The hotel is directly connected to Plaza 66, which was incredibly convenient for picking up anything we forgot. Next door is the Stone House in Camellia Park, perfect for an afternoon unwind. And right across the street is the Kunming Flying Tigers Memorial Museum (a poignant reminder that not all things last forever…).

LLijuan ♪(^∇^*) This was my second stay, and the hotel is fantastic. The overall service is great. I really like the Wild View room type; the design is excellent, with everything you could possibly need. The cleanliness is also top-notch. The hotel is right by the lake, offering fantastic views. The forest by the lake is like a huge natural oxygen bar, and there's also a large lawn. The hotel restaurant is superb; breakfast is very rich and delicious, and the regular meals are good too. It's also a great choice for families, with craft activities for kids. My only regret is that I haven't had a chance to experience the spa on either visit, but I'll definitely try it next time.

LliathanongA relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable.
We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up.
We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists.
It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well.
Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

AAliya0302It is definitely more wedding venue, more local oriented, very nice territory around, good for photoshoot and stuff , nice and friendly staff helped me a lot, but it was a bit confusing in general, like i booked it cause of hotsprings and outdoor pool, turns out you cannot use the outdoor pool and from all hot things was working only one stone bath. So basically we ended up in a very strange situation when 3 groups of people have or to wait in line to that bath or seat on each other. However Indoor pool was nice, big and clean, but bring your towel. The room itself is ...let's say not cosy and a lot reminded a changing room, probably cause of sink right next to the bed. So sum up, good place to have fun, massage, spa say, nice photos and so on, but maybe not a best place to stay for tourist.

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed.
First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature.
However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs.
The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options.
A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests.
A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level.
Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

GGuest UserThe panoramic twin room we stayed in with our child was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking city view. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful sleep for the kids. The hotel thoughtfully provided children's toiletries, and Suri was incredibly warm, attentive, and responsive. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the French chic style was very elegant. It's truly family-friendly with a rich breakfast selection, making travel with kids super easy and worry-free. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserEnvironment: Five-star standard, the private hot spring room is fantastic, no complaints except for being a bit far. 😂 The hot springs are open from 10 AM to 10 PM, with a pleasant temperature, very relaxing. The garden environment is also lovely and tranquil. There are several public pools with different temperatures.
Service: The staff are warm and attentive. Our butler, Flora, was very responsible and proactive; she added us on WeChat before check-in to discuss arrangements, responded promptly, and answered all our questions. When the kids upstairs were running around at night, she coordinated a solution immediately after we contacted her – very reliable!
Dining: We had the dinner buffet and another dinner at the hotel. Overall, it was decent and convenient if you don't want to go out.
Facilities: Generally good. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that the TV is quite old and doesn't support screen casting.

MMunanxiziA wonderful hideaway for a hot spring getaway. The private courtyard comes with its own hot tub, or you can switch things up and use the public pools. In the evenings, you can catch a stunning sunset, and the Ancient Dian Kingdom Museum is right across the way. The villa's amenities are top-notch, and it's very clean, even including a private sauna. There weren't any bugs this season, which made it a super comfortable and relaxing spot for a few friends to unwind. The breakfast and dinner at the mountaintop restaurant are both excellent, and they do Western dishes really well too!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel room was great, comfortable and bright. Communication before check-in was smooth. Since we were a family, they arranged our rooms together. Because the kids like to look at the scenery, they even asked if they preferred to see buildings or cars, and specifically assigned us a room overlooking the elevated highway. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic and accommodating, quickly responding to any requests. She even chatted with us warmly. We received complimentary fruit upon arrival, and the overall check-in experience was excellent. My only suggestion is to add another sign at the garage entrance; it can be a bit hard to find at night.
