Park Hyatt Stays in Suzhou

The breakfast and service were a huge letdown. First off, I was quite pleased with the room's environment and facilities, including the hotel's design – no complaints there. 1️⃣ They claimed for safety reasons they don't provide bed rails, only a crib. OK, fine... 2️⃣ I'd requested two sets of kids' amenities, but only one was provided. 3️⃣ Breakfast is served in two separate halls, A and B, requiring a walk of several dozen meters between them. Pics 1-2 are of B, and 3-8 are of A. The difference is stark, to say the least. Although about 80% of the dishes are the same, the quality and replenishment speed at B were awful. Some items were never refilled, so I had to go to A to find them, which was a pleasant surprise. 4️⃣ The children's cutlery was single-use takeout ware, not even meant for kids. They had high chairs and plates, so I'm not sure what they were thinking when stocking up? 5️⃣ The servers felt very inexperienced, perhaps summer interns. I asked one to clear a plate, and a chef saw it and told the server, but they didn't come for a long time, so the chef ended up clearing it himself... 6️⃣ I explicitly asked for no cilantro in an à la carte dish. It didn't have any on top when it arrived, but after one bite, the taste was off, and I found it hidden underneath... Ultimately, a hotel stay is primarily about the service. I've stayed at other Park Hyatts without any issues, but this one was truly a disappointment.
