DavidThis small hotel is located right within the Pingjiang Road scenic area. It's quite small with very few guests, so it's really quiet. However, the moment you step outside, you're in the bustling scenic area, which has a fantastic night view. You can even experience the beautiful tranquility of the street once all the crowds have dispersed. A heads-up: the hotel rooms lack USB charging ports, so remember to bring your own. The service is excellent; they'll even turn on the air conditioning in advance when they know you're arriving, ensuring you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. They also offer dining options and souvenirs, which is very convenient. Overall, it's a small place, but it perfectly encapsulates the charm and sophistication of Suzhou.

VChuhuI chose the Indigo Hotel for a relaxing weekend by Jinji Lake, and it was absolutely the right decision. Scott, from Guest Relations, proactively contacted me even before check-in and was available on WeChat throughout my stay, handling all my requests with just a message. The hotel is conveniently located right by the subway exit – just a turn after exiting Exit 2 of the Contemporary Art Museum station. The Suzhou-style cyberpunk design is incredibly cool, with arches, ornate windows, and neon lights, making every photo a masterpiece.
I booked a lake-view king room, which included breakfast. The room was 49 square meters and fully equipped with a coffee machine, refrigerator, complimentary first round of beverages, a Dyson hairdryer, and an automatic smart toilet. There was only one trash can, which felt a bit sparse. The room also had two bathrobes, though I honestly wonder if anyone actually enjoys wearing hotel bathrobes. The Dyson hairdryer and fully automatic smart toilet were definite highlights.
For breakfast, the restaurant was quite busy on the weekend. Staff guided guests to their tables and asked if they'd like coffee or black tea. The breakfast featured a special noodle station with delicious wontons and noodles. The pastry section offered a wide variety of breads, all very soft and fluffy. My appetite is a bit small, and I was full after just a bowl of wontons and one pastry. The specialty Suzhou-style pastries, in my opinion, were just okay; I think the pastry shops in the city center would offer better options.

Guest UserOur trip to Suzhou was to see a concert with my child. As someone from the Northeast, I was quite excited to visit Suzhou for the first time. Staying at the Suzhou Jinji Lake L Hotel was a wise choice. I had initially shortlisted three hotels online: one in the old city's Taohuawu district, another a five-star hotel near the Gate of the Orient, and this Suzhou Jinji Lake L Hotel. The main reason I ultimately chose this one was because it's relatively new, and the reviews seemed good. I also saw some photo reviews that made it look quite stylish (though I admit I was a little worried they might be fake at the time). However, my concerns were relieved upon arrival – it really does look just like the pictures!
The service was also excellent, very warm and thoughtful. Our flight was delayed, so we checked in late at night, and the staff even gave us some bread to try. Breakfast is also highly recommended! We stayed for 5 nights, and even though the menu was the same each day, we never felt the food was monotonous; there were plenty of choices.
Another plus is that the hotel has so many photo opportunities everywhere, perfect for kids who love taking pictures. The surrounding environment is also great; step outside and you're at Jinji Lake Moonlight Wharf, with many restaurants nearby, giving it a very cultured vibe. It's also very close to the subway station. All in all, I highly recommend it! For more details, please see the pictures!

Guest UserThe room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

Traveling to Shantang Street with my good friends and our kids, I was getting a headache trying to find a hotel. Luckily, we ended up staying at this hotel right inside the scenic area. The garden-style landscaping is absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos. We could easily pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever we got tired. 😄 Our room had one king bed and one twin bed, and the best part is that they were movable, so we could push them together – fulfilling the kids' wish to sleep together! ❤️ The hotel's bathtub was huge; even though we only stayed one night, the kids took two baths and had a blast. The air conditioning was also incredibly powerful, which was an absolute lifesaver in this scorching summer heat!!! The hotel even provided afternoon tea, which, paired with the lotus flowers we bought in the scenic area, made for some fantastic photos – we took dozens, haha. It's especially great for a getaway with your girlfriends because the room has a two-sided mirror, so you can do your makeup together. 😄 The breakfast was delicious and served as a set meal with exquisite presentation. Kids' breakfasts are even complimentary! On top of that, you can feed the fish at the hotel, which the kids absolutely loved, hahaha. Next time we visit Suzhou, we will definitely stay at Zhu again. This summer trip was too hot and rushed; only staying one night was a bit of a shame. P.S. The staff were super nice. Before check-in, they thoughtfully informed us about various convenient transportation options and the hotel's Wi-Fi. All our small requests were met quickly and efficiently. The staff even helped us carry our luggage upstairs, and when we asked the front desk for bottled water, they generously gave us several bottles at once. Truly amazing!

Guest UserMy stay at the Qiyupai Air Courtyard Resort Hotel during my trip to Suzhou was absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to Shantang Street, and the subway is also very convenient. It's truly a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. The high-altitude courtyard design is incredibly atmospheric, with a blend of Suzhou-style Zen and a dry landscape garden. Watching the sunset over the ancient city from the terrace in the evening, as the lights begin to glow, was incredibly soothing and therapeutic. The room came with its own private, constantly-heated hot spring bath, offering excellent privacy. Soaking in the hot spring while enjoying the evening breeze completely washed away all my travel fatigue. The attention to detail was exceptional – a giant projection screen and smart bathroom facilities were all available, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly. Breakfast was a semi-buffet featuring authentic Suzhou specialties, with freshly made pastries that tasted great. The serving hours were also very accommodating. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive, and they even provided helpful tips for exploring the local area upon check-in. Overall, the hotel is clean and elegant, perfect for both couples on a romantic getaway or friends traveling together. Staying here in Suzhou is a sure bet, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

Guest UserOur stay was very satisfying. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. We could even walk to the Humble Administrator's Garden, and the night views of the ancient buildings nearby were absolutely stunning! The room was clean, tidy, and well-laid out, especially the family room which was perfect for looking after the kids at night. The breakfast was delicious, and a special shoutout to the noodle chef who not only explained Suzhou-style noodles but also made the conversation enjoyable. The front desk service was also spot on; the staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic.

Guest UserI highly recommend this hotel ❤️. It's right on the main street of Pingjiang Road, by the canal. It's not one of those tiny guesthouses; it seems to have nearly twenty rooms, and the decor and facilities are excellent. Most rooms are on the second floor, and downstairs, you're right amidst all sorts of food and shops, which is incredibly convenient. During the day, Pingjiang Road is bustling with people, but the windows have two layers, providing good sound insulation. By about 10:30 PM, the streets quiet down, so you can go downstairs and stroll around leisurely. At night, the streets are mostly empty, making the rooms very quiet. The rooms are clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The staff are also very warm and attentive. The parking lot is right across the street, just over a small bridge. It's also very close to nearby attractions from the hotel.
