It’s an old vintage classic hotel that’s nicely sentimental and nostalgic .
Had been in this area for a long time , it’s suitably located between Glodok and Lokasari

This was my first time staying at Mercure Jakarta Kota. While the hotel is not new or luxurious, it offers all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, and I was especially impressed by the soundproofing between the room and the corridor — very well done. There was still a bit of noise from outside, but nothing too disturbing.
The location is also convenient — it’s about 1 km walk to Chinatown, and getting a taxi is very easy from the hotel.
Breakfast was quite local in style, but still decent and satisfying. The staff at breakfast were all very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job during my stay. The bathroom is a bit old, but everything worked perfectly, including hot water and water pressure.
The only real drawback is the elevator, which feels a bit outdated. However, considering the overall value for money, this is easy to overlook.
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. I was satisfied with everything and would definitely return next time I’m in Jakarta!

Located at 15min walk from Kota station, but you can take bus way to go here just next to the bus stop.
With own GYM, pool, SPA and restaurant, although the hotel is a little bit old aged, it is really nice to stay here, with happy good services.
You can find more foods from China town nearby.
Visit here for Jakarta!

Facilities: The equipment inside must be two decades old; not a single item seemed to be in good working order. There was always something wrong with one thing or another. The hairdryer was completely unusable, overheating and shutting off after just 5 seconds.
Hygiene: Aside from the lobby, which was somewhat presentable, the rooms were absolutely appalling. The bathtub was filthy, and what's worse, it was the only place to shower.
Environment: The surrounding area was also dirty, chaotic, and rundown. There were motorcycle gangs snatching phones and bags right outside the entrance, beggars lined the streets, and a huge construction site was at the intersection.
Service: The staff were indifferent and unhelpful. Seriously, how are you trained? You're part of the Mercure brand, such a large group! I don't expect meticulous service, but a little warmth and enthusiasm wouldn't hurt.
Price: The price on Ctrip was also inflated. The official special offer is often 150 RMB, but Ctrip charged 250 RMB! What a rip-off.

The bed is nice, the price is nice and people nice too, but the bathroom….
It is really old and the toilet was kinda dirty
Dint want to take a sower in the bath cause of the looks, but had too after the long road(
The bath is yellow, it’s really old and rusty in some places
The curtain in the bath is dirty, was disguised to even touch it
Also the conditioner smells not good, it feels like they didn’t clean it for a long time

The hotel is very very old, counter staff is not friendly. The room is big, but old. The blanket has saliva smell.

Can’t make mercure standard. Totally old and dirty toilet with stain everywhere and old grey towel.
It is really the worst Mercure I have ever stayed.
Good thing is manager hero is good help me to manage cancellation.
They have good capable staff however I think the owner tried to save money and not renovate it to Accor standard.
It is really not Mercure standard
