2219471****Staying at your hotel was truly the most delightful surprise of this trip! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt a sense of thoughtfulness and professionalism everywhere. The front desk staff greeted me with warm smiles, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. They even proactively introduced me to the hotel's facilities and recommended local dining spots.
The room was more spacious and comfortable than I expected, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a panoramic view of the city lights. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a restful night's sleep until morning. I especially want to commend the cleanliness – everything was spotless, and I felt completely at ease walking barefoot on the carpet. The bathroom's wet and dry separation design was very practical, with excellent water pressure and instant hot water.
The breakfast spread was extensive, with plenty of Chinese and Western options. I particularly enjoyed the made-to-order noodle station and the fresh fruit. The location is also incredibly convenient; it's only a five-minute walk to the subway station, and there are supermarkets and pharmacies nearby. The breakfast selection was complete, offering DIY sandwiches and refreshing pastries and salads.
What touched me most was the service – the cleaning staff always greeted me with a smile when we met in the hallway, and room service was incredibly prompt. When checking out, the staff even helped me carry my luggage to the car. This truly exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money, and I will definitely recommend it to my friends. It will be my top choice next time I visit this city!

The Ibis Hotel in Dongguan is a hidden gem. This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we will definitely choose it again for our future visits to Dongguan. We opted for the panoramic room, which offers a bit more space. The room is well-equipped with all the essentials. Considering the price you pay, the value is exceptional. The breakfast provided is not only delicious but also offers a wide variety of options at a very reasonable price. The reception staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We adore this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

Winston from Guest Relations contacted us before check-in to coordinate everything, and he even arranged a wonderful room with a fantastic view for us in advance. The floor-to-ceiling windows were huge, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. For our anniversary, they surprised us with a beautiful small cake. The Japanese restaurant on the 107th floor was both beautiful and delicious! A big thank you to the service team, Sophia, Julie, Zilia, and Bessie, for their quiet dedication, and to Manager Vera for her efficient communication. We'll definitely be back for another stay! ✌🏻

GGuest UserI was a little ambivalent after I booked after reading some of the lower scores and yes the building is old, with dark corridors and emptied out pool. Our toilet had some mould which I noticed when showering. Room otherwise was clean and bright. The good thing about this place is the team. They are very responsive and popped in to take a look when I sent them a message and the next day, the walls had been given a scrub through. Kudos to the team who make things work within what is possible. They also gave me a quick run through of the general area which was very helpful.

The service at the hotel was outstanding. The staff, particularly at the reception, were not only fluent in English but also extremely helpful, providing detailed travel advice for exploring Heshan. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a variety of both Chinese and Western dishes that catered to the diverse tastes of international guests.
The rooms were another highlight of my stay. They were spacious, well-lit, and tastefully decorated, providing a serene environment. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, with high-quality bedding that ensured a good night's sleep after a day of exploration. The bathrooms were clean and well-equipped with essential toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes, showing attention to detail.
The hotel's location is unbeatable. It's within walking distance to several key attractions and shopping areas, making it extremely convenient for travelers. JJiechenOur stay at the Hengqin Bay Hotel was excellent. The shuttle bus service to and from the various parks was frequent, making travel arrangements flexible and convenient. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were friendly and professional.
The room layout was well-designed and spacious. The king-size bed was comfortably firm, and the children's bed came with safety rails, which was reassuring. The bathroom had a children's bathtub set and special toiletries for kids, thoughtful details that we appreciated. The bedding was soft and clean, hot water supply was plentiful, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong and stable, providing a smooth user experience.
The dining options were extensive and consistently good. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, from delicious Chinese congee to Western pastries. The ingredients at the Sea View Restaurant for dinner were fresh, and the pricing was reasonable. The cartoon-shaped pastries and tableware specially prepared for children were a big hit with our kids.
The hotel's recreational facilities were excellent. The Water World had a dedicated and fun children's area; the indoor heated pool provided a comfortable environment; the 24-hour dolphinarium, combined with scheduled educational talks, was both entertaining and educational; and the children's playground facilities were well-maintained.
The service was very satisfying. The butler service was responsive and effective in helping us plan our itinerary and make reservations. Room cleaning was meticulous, and the staff were friendly.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied!

Here on a short overnight overlay, with my next flight early at 8AM from Baiyun Airport, so I couldn't make use of the airport shuttle service. Breakfast wasn't served by the time I departed (5.45am) too, so I can't speak for that.
Took a short walk to the gym and pool facilities, they look fine but I didn't make use of them.
Otherwise, it's a really comfy hotel. Room 2007 is right next to the elevator, so I didn't experience the long walk that other guests mentioned. There's pretty much everything you could need provided in the room, including bathrobes. Didn't make use of the kitchen, but I understand it could come in handy for certain travellers.
But yeah, not bad. Not bad at all.
Location wise, it's 15 minutes to the airport, but it's a solid 50 minutes to the city centre by car. You could alternatively walk to the nearby Renhe Subway Station and make use of the public transport (very convenient!), but it could get crowded at times.
