3-Star Hotels in San Jose, Costa Rica

Two buildings across the street from the north. The bed room in the north is mainly close to the rails, which is relatively noisy, but the room, bathroom and public space are relatively spacious and tall. Coffee is served all day, and the kitchen of the cooperative youth hostel next door can also be used. The room lacks tables, chairs and hangers. Good location, walking distance to downtown attractions, supermarkets and a mall.

I was happy to find an AirBnB close to the Terminal Bus and to have a 27/7 service, because due to my flight; I was able to do the check-in at 1:30 am I will note this Hotel for my next trip to Costa Rica. Thanks to Trip.com & Milan Hotel.

The lobby is the feeling of a general business travel. It is much more spacious on the second floor. I think the room is very clean, but because the external window is facing the corridor, there is no way to keep it open, so my bathroom is open to have an exhaust fan, but it is still very good. It is also very close to the bus stop. I don’t know if this area is a dangerous area at night, but there are small restaurants here for a minute or two, which are also delicious.

This was a comfortable stay. The rooms are quite and spacious. In the communal area, was complementary coffee and biscuits for everyone. The location is great for coffee shops and restaurants.

Unexpectedly liked the furnishings of this hotel. Although there is no air conditioning in the room, there is an electric fan, and San Jose is not hot at night. Although the room is not big, it has everything. Although bottled water is not free, there is a coffee machine to make free coffee. The room needs to take the stairs on the 2nd floor. Breakfast is simple and delicious, with bread, eggs, rice, fruit, coffee, tea, and hot milk.

Thanks to Trip.com staff for coordinating the check-in time and adjusting the quiet room in time. The front desk staff of the hotel has a young lady's professionalism and is better to find the staff to connect to Wi-Fi in time.

The exteriors and the pool are nice but the rooms are very old and the smell was very bad inside, i think maybe because the carpet looks also old and dirty. I had to change from the first room because of that and the second one wasn't much better. The breakfast is buffet but very basic with a few options so i just got it one day. The a/c very old and noisy during the night.

In addition to the door can not be very easy to find, the hotel's internal facilities/staff attitude is not bad, especially there are similar sofa meetings on each floor. Continue to stay next time.

I also stayed at this hotel on a business trip a few years ago, not far from the airport, the environment is good, the cafe next door is downstairs, and the transportation is convenient. There were security exercises on the day before leaving, which was quite good. It is more cost-effective to set a breakfast package on Trip.com. Check in did not find breakfast at the beginning, and then it was no problem soon.

Curtains on the bed which is a killer feature to get some intimacy and sleep better. Common spaces are well designed. Yoga class in the morning is highly recommended. People are welcoming but usually won't stay for long as San Jose is usually a step to go somewhere else. Except a few co-workers.
