Found this Gem in a last-minute search for a place to stay in the mountains. We only stayed one night, unfortunately, but would definitely return if we find ourselves in the Rockies again. The room was clean and comfortable for 4 adults. Great views, Love the communal concept of the kitchen & fire pit. Great way to meet new people. Easy to find & not far from the amenities of the town of Golden.
Not sure if this furry friend is a full time resident or not but, sure was friendly!

What we like: The hotel is quite new, the room is quite spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful.
What we don’t like: The hotel is located at the edge of the town, which is few minutes drive from the downtown area. It is also close to the railway and we can hear train noise in the evening.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay. It was a good stop over for our trip to Banff.
Excellent location and good value for money, with breakfast included. It was very convenient having Chinese-speaking staff, and the service was warm and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel!
The room is very tidy, clean and warm 👍
The landlord is very friendly. When I arrived, I was very careful and enthusiastic to introduce me to help me move in. 👍
The homestay is located in a high-end community in Richmond, very quiet and safe.
Convenient location, there are many restaurants not far away.
Overall, it is a very good homestay living experience 👍
Spacious rooms with great views. The breakfast was average with the scope of improvements there. Service quality was good overall. On amenities there’s a gym and swimming pool. Swimming pool is good for kids as it has a nice slide (although I saw even adults using it). Parking is no fuss and there’s protected areas and outdoor parking options. The location is good. Few shops here and there (it’s a small stopover town between Vancouver and Banff). There’s a Costco 5-7 mins drive to refuel or buy stuff.
1. Convenient transportation: very close to the airport and downtown tourist attractions, rail transit station 1.5km, bus station 400 meters;
2. Warm guidance from the owner: From the confirmation of the order to the near Vancouver, the owner will give the route and direction of the arrival in the email in time according to my arrival time, where to enter the house, how to enter the house, especially warm, my arrival time is already more than 10 o'clock in the evening, it is dark, The owner left me the warm yellow light in the living room and back garden in advance, as if a beacon in the night, which instantly warmed my heart.
3. The room is fully equipped, clean and tidy: the bedroom bedding supplies are clean and tidy, there is a wardrobe, a separate bathroom (the overall bathroom), wireless WIFI, not only the theme color is white, the key is that all the items are cleaned up, people live in a better mood.
4. There is also a kitchen, living room, washing machine on the first floor, and the supporting facilities are very complete.
5. The surrounding environment and air quality are very good: the house and the surrounding area are houses and woods, there is no noise on the main road, and the city garden air is a bit good.
This Vancouver trip, to live in Xiaoxia's home, is a very correct and lucky choice, I hope I have the opportunity to re-gentle you again.
I chose a suite, which was quite large, nice! The restaurant on the first floor has hot water, which is very good for Chinese tourists, so they don't have to drink ice water.
Great little roadside motel in the heart of Kelowna. Walking distance to everything. The price is great, its clean, the service is friendly and check-in was fast. If you're just looking for a room for a night or two, this is the place you want.

GGuest UserVery clean and very comfortable bed. If the room has spare blanket for someone to add on. It will be the best. Also, I do not have extraordinary expectation so breakfast is so far acceptable.
CCrAzYd426This hotel Actually Better than I expected coz the reviews said it sucks……🤪
I think not too bad indeed tho I haven’t visit the gym yet….
I have no complaint for the room, I think it’s good to have microwave and coffee machine in the room and the lobby has coffee machine with different choice of coffee, it’s so good! 😊
Also there is a Korea Town (about 5 minutes walking from Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station, this hotel about 10-15 minutes walking distant from the Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station). There are many restaurants nearby, also there is Lougheed Town Centre (a shopping mall) it’s so convenient 👍🏻
I think it’s ok to stay a night or two but of coz the cleanliness and management could be better 😉

GGuest UserThe hotel staff are very helpful. I always leave bags when I’m away skiing for the week.
Checked in quickly.
Rooms are big, immaculately clean, quiet and have v comfy beds. They are also nicely decorated. Got coffee machine, fridge, microwave & good wifi. Breakfast is pretty good. Got some fresh fruit, decent scrambled eggs, yoghurt and porridge if wanting more healthy options.
It has a pool which is nice.
Hall decor is now a bit dated and could do with being re-decorated.
GGuest UserCtrip collected the full room fee before I left, but the platform showed it as a credit payment. Then the front desk collected the room fee again when I arrived at the hotel. But when I came back, I didn’t see any refund from Ctrip?
OOne of UsFriendly, and helpful staff. The location is very good. The Real Canadian Superstore is very close by, and a Costco is right behind Superstore.. Orchard Park Mall is across the street. The rooms were very clean. The beds, well I slept like a baby on them all night. Absolutely love the beds. The showerhead in.the room we were in was very modern and I loved it. The breakfast was pretty good. You can toast your bread/waffle fancy toaster you would see in Tim Hortons or A&W.Tgey have hard boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, granola bars, yogurt, tea, coffee, apple juice, orange juice and cranberry juice. Also they have a pool and hot tub very close to the reception desk to check in or out. Only a few parking spots in front, a few on the side and the rest of the parking is located in the back. If you park on the side of White Spot parking you will get towed or ticketed. The is a cement dividers and if it snows you may not see them as they are small. Please be aware and be careful. We will be booking here again. We had a balcony view. Thank you to Dilworth Inn for your kind hospitality. Thank you to this app I downloaded. You have no idea how grateful I am to you. Thank you
GGuest UserThe front desk staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The room amenities were also quite well-appointed. The only minor issue was that the air conditioner controls weren't very clear or intuitive to use. The hotel's location is great for shopping, and with plenty of Chinese and Western restaurants nearby, finding delicious food was a breeze.
LLin777The day before your stay, they email you the room code, but I didn't notice it. I arrived at 11:30 PM that night, and there was no staff at all. Luckily, I had left my phone number, so I was able to get the code and enter my room. It was a real false alarm. Our five-person room was on two floors, with no elevator and stairs. It came with a full kitchen, living room, and dining table. It was new, clean, and even had laundry facilities, making it a perfect place for travelers. We could buy food from the supermarket and cook it ourselves, saving a lot on food. We left the next day without checking out. It's truly a country of honesty and trust. I loved it! It was a truly wonderful stay!
GGuest UserAvid traveller and honest review. Booked 3 days and got an older room with a plug in oil heater and fan because baseboard not renovated. Crowded plug in and power bar behind a dusty tv to run it all. But budget so rather expected a few things. Had to stay one more day so booked online , got a better room but upon arriving found a young women passed out briefly with a “pipe” in her hand right at the entrance and because children where on premise I reported as I booked in and it seemed blown off. A man then lead said girl in who was obviously “working” but also in no shape to give consent and I said to the clerk exactly that as well that she had blood down the back of her legs, who seemed to blow it off. I am disturbed with the fact that the young woman was easily going to be victimized. So , if you are ok with that, and no guarantee of your room quality then this is the place . Horrible accommodation, no ,I’ve seen worse, and second room was certain up to par, but the neighbourhood may also allow for other types of “stays” it seems because it was absolutely blatant. But hey, it was cheap!
DDev_TirthoI stayed at Recreation Inn during my recent trip to Kelowna, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The standout for me was the Saturday breakfast – simple but on point. It was served buffet-style with a good mix of egg muffins, fruit, bread, and juice. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making for a nice start to the day.
The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, but I have to admit, the condition of the room felt quite dated. The furniture and decor could really use an upgrade, and there was an unpleasant musty odor in the room that lingered throughout my stay, which definitely affected my comfort.
The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to some restaurants and not far from the lake, which was a bonus.
If you’re looking for a basic place to crash for a night or two and don’t mind a bit of an older vibe, it could work. But if you’re sensitive to smell or looking for something modern and more refreshed, this might not be the best fit.
GGuest UserExcellent location and good value for money, with breakfast included. It was very convenient having Chinese-speaking staff, and the service was warm and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel!
