Kaopujun。Zhangjiajie East Gate Boutique B&B | 50 Meters from Scenic Area Entrance, Unparalleled Service, You Won't Want to Leave!
For this trip to Zhangjiajie, we spent the first two nights enjoying a slow pace on the west side, then moved to the Guanzhi S B&B near the East Gate for the next two nights.
This B&B positions itself as a boutique hotel, not just a regular guesthouse. From the moment you step in, you know it's something special – an artist's entrance, with an artistic atmosphere permeating every corner. The details are meticulously crafted. Many guests here are international tourists and discerning travelers who appreciate quality. It's no exaggeration to say this is the most thoughtful and attentive service I've ever experienced.
📍Location: 50 meters from the East Gate, 7-seater shuttle service provided
The B&B is about 50 meters from the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, making park access incredibly convenient. However, because it's so close to the scenic area, it's located in a restricted zone. ⚠️ You MUST use Didi (ride-hailing app) to get directly to the B&B's doorstep. Plus, the hotel offers a 7-seater shuttle service, so transportation is a breeze for families. It's also easy to find restaurants after leaving the park, as the area around the East Gate is full of eateries.
🛏️Bathtub King Room: Refined Down to the Details
We stayed in a bathtub king room. The room isn't huge but is exquisite in every detail. The bedding is comfortable, and a relaxing soak in the tub at night washes away all the day's fatigue. If you need anything, just scan the QR code by the bed, and it'll be delivered in minutes – a godsend for busy parents!
👶Parents with Kids Rejoice! All These are Free!
Forgot kids' toothbrushes, slippers, or shower gel? The B&B has it all; just ask the front desk, and they'll bring it to your room. There's also a 5 sqm kids' play area with a slide, building blocks, and a small rocking horse. Once the kids are in there, they won't want to leave.
☕️Good Morning · Good Afternoon · Good Evening, Service is Superb!
This is where the true boutique hotel service shines through:
🌅Good Morning · Huanchi – Exquisite breakfast, with both Chinese and Western options.
🍰Good Afternoon · Afternoon Tea – Come back from exploring, enjoy tea and desserts, and instantly feel re-energized.
🌙Good Evening · Evening Porridge + Cocktails – Warm porridge for the stomach, a little nightcap, and finally some alone time for the adults after the kids are asleep.
📸Free Travel Photography + Ethnic Costume Experience!
The most delightful surprise – free ethnic costume experience + travel photography! All original photos are provided, with professional touch-ups included! They even gave us a souvenir gift upon check-out. So thoughtful!
✅Countless Value-Added Services:
Shuttle service | Free kids' amenities | Free travel photography | Afternoon tea | Evening porridge + cocktails | Souvenir gift… This is, without a doubt, the most attentive B&B I've ever stayed in.
Ps: Remember to use Didi to get to the B&B's entrance~ 🚗

A very unique and memorable stay in Zhangjiajie!
We stayed 2 nights in the Morning Glow King Suite Bedroom. The highlight of this homestay is its cave concept. The reception area is huge, impressive, and beautifully designed, creating a real wow factor upon arrival.
The property also features a cave restaurant where breakfast is served, and dinner can be arranged with advance booking. There is also a cosy cave lounge for guests to relax.
Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. The facilities were well maintained and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.
Location is excellent. The homestay is hidden behind the famous theatre performance venue but only a short walk to the main street, making it convenient while remaining quiet.
Highly recommended for travellers looking for a unique accommodation experience in Zhangjiajie. The cave setting alone makes it worth staying here.

Guest UserCheck-in: We arrived quite early (a little after 7 AM) and were able to check in immediately. We even got a two-level room upgrade, ending up in a ground-floor room with a bathtub. The room was spacious, and the bathroom and toilet area were huge. The bathtub was big enough for one person and came with bath salts, a loofah, and a phone holder. The bed was very soft and comfortable. There was a reclining chair in the room with a bedside lamp next to it, perfect for lying down and looking at my phone at night with just the lamp on, then turning it off and going to bed when I got sleepy. Afternoon tea was provided, and the fruit and braised peanuts were delicious. The fruit selection at breakfast was excellent, with sweet red pitaya, watermelon, and even sweet prunes (rare to see prunes offered!). Breakfast offered four set menus; we tried two, and the steak option was particularly good. Unfortunately, we had to leave in a hurry and missed out on the travel photography and luggage delivery service to the high-speed rail station.
Transportation: The hotel has a shuttle bus that can take you to the community entrance (the hotel is located within the community). I added their customer service on WeChat beforehand, and they sent me a very useful image showing how to get a taxi to the hotel entrance. The hotel's location is good, close to the attractions we wanted to visit. However, it's a bit far from the subway. When taking a taxi, you might encounter drivers not coming, but if you're patient, someone will eventually pick you up.
Facilities: Although laundry service was available, I needed my clothes washed and dried quickly. So, I took them to be washed myself and had the hotel help with drying and returning them to the room, which I appreciated. The soundproofing, as others have mentioned, isn't perfect near the door, where you can hear outside noise. However, I didn't hear anything from the rooms next door, so it wasn't an issue for me.

Guest UserThis hotel truly impressed us in every way. The service alone deserves 5+ stars. Miss Wendy (who is the front desk manager and looks like the only one who spoke English) was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and incredibly proactive. Wendy anticipated our needs, provided helpful local recommendations, allowed us to choose the room we preferred, and even helped us to select tickets to the national park without any hassle.
The room had a fantastic view of the mountains, which made the stay feel very special. Breakfast was outstanding—easily a 10/10—with a wide selection and a beautiful view from the restaurant.
The location is also a major plus: very close to the train station and extremely convenient for both the airport and train stations. As an added bonus, there is restaurants nearby, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere in the evenings.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. Because of the Wendy we extended our trip in this hotel for another week.

Guest UserFrom September 1st to 5th, we visited Zhangjiajie. My daughter and son-in-law booked us into the Hilton Garden Inn near the National Forest Park. We stayed for four nights and had a great experience. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the prime area of Wulingyuan, less than a kilometer's walk from the National Forest Park. We walked to the park every day after breakfast. The hotel breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options and a clean, pleasant dining environment. The service was excellent as well. Although the front desk staff were all young, they were enthusiastic, attentive, thoughtful, professional, and very friendly to guests. One day, we had an early start to visit Fenghuang Ancient Town and wouldn't have time for breakfast, so the hotel specially prepared two breakfast boxes for us, which we really appreciated.

Guest UserFor this trip to Changsha, I chose two hotels with completely different styles. One was a high-rise with a storm SPA experience and hot stone sauna, and the other was this 6500·Chaozong Street B&B, located in Chaozong Ancient Street. The experience here was simply unbeatable, truly the highlight of my Changsha trip.
The excellent experience started even before we arrived. The hotel is about 20 meters inside Chaozong Ancient Street, so cars can't drive in. Our little butler was already waiting at the entrance of the ancient street, helped us with our luggage after we got out of the car, poured iced water, checked us in, and escorted us to our room. There's a special little Rubik's Cube by the bed; my child solved it and exchanged it for a cup of Tea Yan Yue Se. My favorable impression instantly soared.
Then my child happily went to do handicrafts, and I joyfully went to take photos. The travel photography service was also superb; the guide was patient throughout, with no extra charges. After the shoot, I received over 200 raw photos and 9 retouched ones. I recall having to spend an extra thousand yuan for travel photography at the Anmo Hotel in Yinchuan. My child made a Song brocade wind chimes and quietly told me they wanted to make something else. The little butler overheard and readily allowed them to make another herbal painting. My child was absolutely thrilled. After they finished, the little butler took care of drying and framing it. An artwork, complete! ✅
After all the activities, we started enjoying afternoon tea. The desserts weren't too sweet, and the coffee was delicious. Afterwards, we could head out to explore. Upon returning, I found that the little butler had thoughtfully arranged a tatami mat and even provided a late-night snack. I ordered congee and soup, which were very comforting, and then had a wonderful night's sleep.
Breakfast could be delivered to the room or eaten in the lobby. Everything was freshly made, nutritionally balanced, a blend of Chinese and Western styles, and delicious.
There was a minor hiccup when checking out and taking a taxi to the South Station. I muttered that I had originally planned to have lunch at the South Station. The little butler heard me and quickly went to the kitchen to pack some food for me. I was stunned, such thoughtful service! I was so touched.
So, who is this beautiful, kind, universally adored, and charming little butler? I must mention her name: it's Miss Meiling! A hundred thumbs up!

Guest UserThis stay exceeded my expectations; overall, I was very satisfied. The hotel environment was quiet and comfortable, and the public areas were kept clean and elegant. There's also a large garden courtyard, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The guest rooms were thoroughly cleaned, the bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities worked perfectly. The staff, in particular, were excellent – friendly, patient in answering questions, and efficient with check-in and check-out. They were also quick to respond to any requests. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options and tasted great. The location is convenient for getting around, making it easy for both sightseeing and dining. The overall value for money is good, and it was a comfortable stay. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit and recommend it to friends traveling to the area.

This guesthouse boasts absolutely stunning views and a beautiful, serene, and comfortable environment – truly on par with high-end luxury lodges abroad, but without the exorbitant price tag. The restaurant is also fantastic; I ate there for three days straight because the food was so good I didn't want to eat anywhere else. What really sets them apart, though, is their service. It's not the rigid, formal service you find at a five-star hotel; instead, it's incredibly thoughtful and attentive, always putting the guest's needs first. For example, if we ordered too much food, the restaurant would even proactively help us figure out how to save it for our next meal. Every other service detail was just as impressive – any request was met with a helpful response. It was such a comfortable and personalized experience. Getting to the West Gate of the Forest Park from here is also very convenient, as the guesthouse offers pick-up and drop-off services. They also provide incredibly detailed and professional advice based on your itinerary, making it completely stress-free for first-time visitors. I will definitely be back!

WailiwangStaying at Wotianju this trip was a delightful surprise! It's incredibly close to all the attractions, basically within ten minutes. We drove there ourselves, and the hotel itself is unbelievably huge – you even need to drive to get around inside! The front desk also gave us a free room upgrade, which made us really not want to leave. The hotel pays attention to details everywhere: the butler service is super responsive and on-call, the welcome fruit was chilled, and even a simple blanched lettuce at the Chinese restaurant was delicious. You can tell the chef really knows their stuff – it was fresh and not greasy. You could easily just stay at the hotel for all your eating, drinking, and entertainment needs. There's a huge lawn, and reading a book and having tea by the river under the trees was just incredibly relaxing; time just seemed to slow down. After dinner, we'd go swimming and then soak in the hot springs. Honestly, even though it's an outdoor hot spring, the cleanliness was excellent. Back where we're from, a hot spring of this quality for two people would cost about the same as a night's stay! I forgot my facial cleanser when we left, and the butler even arranged for SF Express to send it home – absolutely perfect! You can tell the owner put a lot of effort into the hotel's construction, design, and staff management. I would definitely come back to Zhangjiajie just for this hotel again. A hundred points!
