We stayed here on the last day of our honeymoon!
We weren't sure about the shuttle service, so we called after arriving on Yoron Island, and they came to pick us up at Yoron Airport just 15 minutes later! 🙇♀️
Our room was on the first floor, and the two beds were spacious and very comfortable. 😌
There were a lot of stains on the sofa, but that was acceptable.
We booked a plan without meals, but we called the hotel later and they made a reservation for us at the Western-style restaurant for dinner!
The restaurant was fully booked online, but they adjusted the time and made a reservation for us at 7 PM. Since our dates were approaching and reservations at restaurants near the hotel were also full, this was a huge help!
The only option offered was a 5000 yen course, but the portion size was just right, and the food, made with local ingredients, was delicious!
We brought our own champagne for 5000 yen.
They provided glasses and a cooler, and we served ourselves!
They offer luggage storage after check-out, and it seems there's a space on the premises where you can rent cars or electric bicycles!
Renting a car costs 6500 yen for 3 hours, which is a bit more expensive than other places, but you can pick it up right from the hotel, and there seems to be a free shuttle bus for boat and flight times, so I thought it might be a good idea to rent one to coincide with those!
Thank you for a wonderful time!

This is a very nice hotel close to Kagoshimachuo station. It is convenient location for taking the Shinkansen and other trains. It is also a short walk or tram journey into Tenmonkan or the port area
The room is a good size clean and you can choose a room with a magnificent view of Sakurajima
Cleaning is done every two days but you can leave a sticker on your door and they will clean if you wish on off days
The bathroom is the biggest I have seen in Japan very modern and nice to use
Staff are very friendly and helpful. If I would visit Kagoshima again I would like to stay here

Casper WongHot spring hotel in an area renowned for its hot springs. I deliberately chose the Japanese tatami-style to experience more of the local culture. As you can see from the photos, the view from my room was really nice! I also like the fact that both dinner and breakfast were included, as there isn't much around. Very comfortable stay overall, but mind you - the smell of sulphur (possibly?) from the hot springs is always there!

cindy-caoThe triple room was generally small and a bit cramped. The only plus was the shower/tub combo, and the bathroom itself was quite spacious. The toiletries provided were excellent, and the hairdryer was a Refa, with both a curling iron and a flat iron included. It's worth noting that none of the rooms offer a view of Sakurajima; you have to go to the rooftop observation deck to catch a glimpse from a specific angle. The hotel is quite a distance from the central station, which is inconvenient if you have large luggage. However, downstairs there's a food street, shopping, and a supermarket, so everything you need is readily available.

It took a long time to choose a hotel in Ibusuki, and there were very few pictures and information about Xiu Sui En. However, after seeing netizens commenting that its kaiseki cuisine is its specialty, as foodies, we decided to book this hotel with the mentality of giving it a try, and the result! Really like it!
Service: Regarding the service, it is really a detail that only traditional Japanese hotels have. After we checked in, a pair of waiters came to pick us up and take us to the hot spring (private hot spring only costs about 100 yuan) and take us there. The restaurant (you must try the food, it is exquisite and delicious), the most surprising thing is that my slippers (fur slippers) were scorched and wet by the rain when I entered the door. I even jokingly asked my husband if they would see that my shoes were wet. Then help me dry it, otherwise I will have to wear wet shoes again the next day and end up going out the next morning! It was really dried (because one of them got smaller and shrunk hahaha, so it was definitely dried), and when we asked for any service, they would not ask us which room we were in, their waiters would remember us and serve us directly. We have arranged everything. Having said so much, we still have to experience it ourselves, haha.

Jeremy NettoThe furniture is a bit dated and worn out but it has a million dollar view of Sakurajima. I had planned to stay only for one night on my way elsewhere but after seeing the view from my balcony, I immediately booked another night and the next day, the staff were very accommodating to allow me to stay in the same room without checking out and checking back in later. Would totally recommend this hotel to anyone.

Guest UserWe ended up in a magnificent corner room with a view of Sakurajima - possibly the best room in the hotel - but only after a struggle. On arrival, we were told that our Standard King room was double-booked and we would have to move after one night to a smaller room. The hotel blamed the mix-up on Trip.com. Since we had booked almost two months prior and had arrived first, this didn't wash. We pressed our claim and the result was good. A lovely, modern room with exceptional facilities - including a private sauna - and magnificent view.
But it speaks poorly of the hotel's customer service that it took some determined push-back to achieve this result. The hotel's initial attitude was that the we should lose out over a mix-up that had nothing to do with us. A first-rate place, if you can trust the booking.

Guest UserThe facilities are complete, and the front desk is on the third floor. The location is great, very close to the Planetarium business district. There's a large Don Quijote right across the street from the hotel. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the station, so not too far. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Coming from Fukuoka to Kagoshima, I felt the rooms here were quite affordable! 😂

This was my first trip to Kagoshima, Kyushu, and your hotel's setting was absolutely stunning, offering distant views of Sakurajima volcano. The hot springs within the hotel also have excellent water quality, especially the open-air bath where you can gaze at Sakurajima. If the weather is good, you can even catch the sunrise around 5:30 AM, truly experiencing the majestic power of nature! The hotel's buffet breakfast lived up to its reputation and was definitely worth the price! Plus, there's a free shuttle bus service daily from Kagoshima-Chuo Station to the hotel. All in all, it's a high-quality hotel well worth staying at for anyone visiting Kagoshima.

YaneI stayed 5 nights in Kagoshima for a leisurely trip. The hotel has 12 floors with 4 rooms per floor and 2 elevators. There was only one staff member at the front desk, but they were very friendly. Check-in and check-out were done via a self-service machine. Rooms don't have keys; instead, you get a 4-digit passcode.
**Pros:** The rooms are spacious, perfect for families, and some even have bunk beds. Each room comes with a kitchen and a washer-dryer combo, which was super convenient as I cooked dinner three times. The hotel is located between Kagoshima-Chuo Station and the Tenmonkan shopping district. Both are about 900 meters away, and since Kagoshima city center isn't that big, you can easily walk around the commercial areas.
**Cons:** As many have mentioned, the breakfast isn't great. There are only five simple options. In Japan, if you don't eat breakfast at the hotel, it can be quite challenging and time-consuming to find something outside.
