Paper arrival cards, the standalone e-CD (Electronic Customs Declaration), and SATUSEHAT health declarations have all been combined into one unified All Indonesia digital arrival card. This is now mandatory for arrivals at Jakarta (CGK), Bali (DPS), and Surabaya (SUB) airports, as well as Batam seaports.
The traditional e-CD is still required for all other Indonesian entry points until the All Indonesia system is fully rolled out nationwide. Both platforms are free, official, and completely digital—so you can say goodbye to paper forms!

The Indonesia Arrival Card is your mandatory digital entry form for all international travelers, brought to you by Indonesia’s immigration and customs authorities. It’s time to say goodbye to outdated paper forms! This new system streamlines your journey by combining three essential entry steps into one simple submission: immigration verification, customs declaration (replacing the standalone e-CD), and your health/quarantine declaration (replacing SATUSEHAT).

Submitting either one will generate a unique QR code, which is the only document you'll need for immigration and customs clearance. Just a heads-up: this isn't a visa, so if your nationality requires one, you'll still need to have a valid visa, VOA, or e-VOA ready to go!
Do I Need an Indonesia Arrival Card? Who’s Exempt?

Head over to the website or open the app and tap "Start Declaration" right on the homepage. Need to switch languages? Just use the menu in the top-right corner—no need to register or log in beforehand!
- Enter your personal and travel details
Please fill in all mandatory fields (marked with *) exactly as they appear on your passport or travel tickets:
Make sure you have your full legal name, passport number, nationality, flight or vessel number, arrival date and time, the full address where you’ll be staying in Indonesia (including the hotel name, street, and city), and the total number of checked bags. If you’re traveling as a group, you can easily add details for family or companions (up to 10 people) in the same submission. Just be sure to double-check everything for typos—incorrect information can cause your QR code to be invalidated!
- Fill out your customs and health declaration forms
Answer your customs questions: Let us know if you’re carrying any dutiable or prohibited items (like alcohol, tobacco, electronics, or cash exceeding IDR 100 million). For the health declaration, simply share your current health status. Please select “Yes” or “No” for every question—we need clear answers to keep things moving smoothly!
- Review and submit the form
Take a moment to look over your entire form to make sure all your personal, travel, and declaration details are spot on. Once you're confident everything is correct, go ahead and click Submit—just keep in mind that you won't be able to make any changes after that, so double-check before you finalize! - Get and save your unique QR code
Your declaration QR code will pop up on the screen in an instant, and we'll also email a copy to your registered address (if you provided one). Be sure to screenshot that QR code, download the PDF, or print a physical copy—it's a great idea to save it in at least two places (like your phone's photo album or the cloud) just to be safe. You'll need this handy code for both immigration and customs, so keep it close!

Head over to the link—it's the official, free platform for customs declarations. Just tap "Next" on the homepage to get started, and feel free to switch the interface to English using the language tab to make things even easier! - Enter your personal and travel details
Please fill in all required details exactly as they appear on your passport or travel documents:
Make sure you have your full name (exactly as it appears in your passport), passport number, nationality, flight or vessel details, arrival date, the address where you’ll be staying in Indonesia (whether it’s a hotel or residence), and the total number of bags you’re bringing. If you’re traveling as a group, you can easily add family members to the same form. Just be sure to double-check everything before you submit to avoid any hiccups with customs!
- Complete your item declaration details
You’ll be asked to confirm whether you’re bringing any dutiable or prohibited items into Indonesia—think tobacco, alcohol, high-value goods, or large amounts of cash. Simply select "Yes" if you’re carrying any of these, or "No" if you have nothing to declare. Just remember to answer honestly to stay in line with Indonesian customs regulations! - Review and submit the form
Take a moment to double-check your personal and travel details, along with your item declarations, to make sure everything is spot on. Once you're confident that all your information is correct, just hit the Submit button to wrap up your e-CD and get ready for your adventure!
- Get and save your QR code
A unique QR code will be generated immediately after successful submission. Screenshot the QR code directly or download the PDF version to your phone/device. You must present this QR code to Indonesian customs officers upon arrival – a printed copy is recommended as a backup for low-battery or Internet issues.

The hotel is located within a large complex. There are many restaurants just a street away, and it's a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the Collection mall, or you can use the scheduled shuttle service. The hotel isn't directly on the beach, but they offer regular shuttle rides to and from the seaside. Most of the hotel staff are very friendly, with the exception of a few at the beach. Every time I tried to buy a coconut at the beach, the staff would say they were sold out. And when I tried to order other drinks, they seemed quite annoyed. The room itself was spacious and very clean. They provide four complimentary bottles of water daily, and you can request four more. Any additional bottles after that come with a charge. During breakfast, you can see many small squirrels being fed from little wooden bowls hung on the trees in the restaurant.FromTHB 3,459

This is a premium hotel far outside of Ubud center. Be aware you are about 30 minutes from Ubud if you stay here and there really isn't much to do in the immediate area besides stare at the jungle. Staff was outstanding here with frequent greetings by name and remembering you like a Ritz Carlton.
Because I enjoy regular outings I actually found the location quite inconvenient as an hour a day would have to be devoted just to getting to and from Ubud.
The room I got was enormous and included a dining room, sitting room, bedroom, large bathroom. The in room amenities were great including a free restocking mini bar with snacks (no alcohol) and a large smart TV. The bed was huge, soft, and comfortable.
The bathtub was a downside as it was quite small by western standards (not as small as a japanese tub though). I'm not a very big individual at 173cm and I felt it was too narrow and not long enough. Perhaps suitable for petite individuals only. Be aware of that if like me and many Americans you prefer baths over showers.
The property is very large and you will likely want to regularly use the phone to request the on site golf cart shuttles to get around it as otherwise you will spend much of your time walking uphill from the rooms to the amenities near the entrance like the restaurant and pool.FromTHB 2,317

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is huge, with plenty of restaurants to choose from and a wide variety of activities, so there was always something to do. The facilities are well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxing.
As IHG One Rewards Ambassador members, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Suite, which made our stay even more comfortable. The extra space and amenities were much appreciated.
The breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety of choices, catering to different tastes. There was also a good selection of Indian dishes alongside the international offerings, making breakfast enjoyable every morning.
The Club Lounge was another nice perk, offering afternoon tea and evening cocktails. While the lounge itself was comfortable and the service was good, we found the food selection to be fairly average. It was enjoyable for a light snack and drinks, but not particularly memorable.
The beach is absolutely stunning, with soft sand and crystal-clear water. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was unexpectedly coming across a sea turtle nest. We were fortunate enough to witness the turtle hatchlings making their incredible journey to the ocean. It was a truly special and unforgettable experience that made our trip even more meaningful.

My stay at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu started with a hiccup, it ended on such a wonderful note that I would happily return.
Due to a system error, I was given the wrong room type upon check-in, and unfortunately there were no vacant rooms available that day. However, the hotel team handled the situation professionally. The very next day, they upgraded me to their best room category as part of their service recovery, which I truly appreciated.
What made the experience even more memorable was the genuine hospitality. The staff noticed it was my birthday and surprised me during breakfast by singing a birthday song. I was touched, although a little awkward too 😅. A special mention to Manager Aldi, who consistently checked in on me whenever we crossed paths around the hotel to make sure everything was going well. That personal touch made a big difference.

We stayed in a sea view suite on the 2nd floor, but the view was mostly blocked by trees, so there was hardly any sea view. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor and offers an open view of the sea. I'd recommend requesting a room on the 3rd floor or higher when booking.

Been here for 3 nights for our honeymoon. the staffs were incredibly nice. we are Bali people but we did not get or feel any discrimination at all, they treat us the same as foreigners. they have natural hot spring water pool, it was hot honestly, so we did not go very often. but they have ocean view pool and garden view pool which much cooler. The food was great!! All breakfast food we had never failed to satisfy us. Best of the best was the romantic dinner my husband prepared for me which is great!! I had a pleasant stay at Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center and would happily recommend it to others visiting Denpasar. The hotel is centrally located, making it a great base for both business and leisure activities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the essential amenities provided. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a generous variety of both local and international dishes. The hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pool and meeting rooms, were well-maintained and added to the overall experience. • Location: Close to the airport and the ocean. Easy access to shops, currency exchange booths, cafes, street food vendors, and massage parlors.
• Room: Spacious with all the essentials: a safe, slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shower gel, and shampoo. The view was of a soccer field and local houses, but it was noisy at night even with the windows closed; we could hear motorbikes racing on the road. The lack of a balcony wasn't an issue; we dried our clothes in the room.
At one point, the air conditioning stopped working, but we reported it to reception, and they fixed it quickly.
The shower drained poorly, likely due to a lack of slope towards the drain.
• Breakfast: Varied, with sliced cheese and cold cuts, a vegetable and salad station, an omelet station, several types of fruit, fried fish, chicken in various sauces, rice, pasta, a self-serve soup station, but the pastries were cold 😓.
I didn't like that smoking was allowed at the tables.
• Pool: Overlooking Jimbaran Bay. Absolutely beautiful. I wanted to explore every corner. The pool looked clean, and all the tiles were intact. There was a bar nearby where you could order drinks and food at reasonable prices.
• Ocean: A straight 5-minute walk down a quiet street. The beach is being cleaned this year. The most beautiful sunsets are only here 😍. The hotel doesn't have its own sun loungers and umbrellas, but you can rent them on the beach without any problems.

Reception was a little busy upon arrival and made me wait for a couple of hours the until check-in to 2pm, my room was excellent style and big, sadly with no balcony or view onto a very busy and noisy road, and Indonesia is dose it's best to create nose, so next time I have to book a pool view room to get away from the very noisy main road, there's a lovely bathroom and separate toilet, also a bath with TV, the main TV was excellent and I could log into my Netflix account to watch all my favourite programmes, breakfast time is very good with plenty of choice, i will come back and book a pool view room next timeFromTHB 510

The hotel is in a great city-centre location, making it convenient to access nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was included and offered a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes and preferences.
However, there were several issues that affected our experience. The room description on Trip.com stated that the bed would be either a queen bed or twin beds, but we were instead given a king bed, even though we tried checking in as early as possible so that we can get a twin beds room. Bed type should be clearly specified and guaranteed during the booking process to avoid misunderstandings.
The hotel's carpet is quite old and had a noticeable smell. In one of our rooms, the air conditioner appeared dusty and barely blew any air. However, after we contacted the front desk, the issue was resolved promptly, which we appreciated. The curtains were also not blackout curtains, allowing too much light into the room early in the morning.
Despite requesting a quiet room, we were assigned a room next to the swimming pool. The soundproofing was also quite poor, and we could clearly hear people walking and talking along the corridor throughout the day and night, which affected our rest.FromTHB 598

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved the daybeds, pools and the range of daily activities plenty of ways to just slow down and chill without leaving the resort.
The à la carte lunch and dinner at the resort’s restaurants were great but the buffet breakfast was honestly quite meh.
The rooftop bar on the 17th floor was another highlight. The staff there were exceptionally warm and friendly in fact, much friendlier than the gentleman who handled our check-in at reception which felt rather cold.
A small housekeeping oddity: we noticed that the ropes we had worn were literally re-hung instead of being replaced with a fresh set, which was a little disappointing for a luxury resort.

Overall, everything was good. My kids loved the Kid's Club, and all the staff there were very friendly and helpful.
Bali Collection provides a shuttle service through Holiday Inn, which was very convenient. The hotel is not located on the busiest street, but there are several restaurants within a few minutes' walk. There are also three mini marts just outside the hotel, which is very handy.
The only downside was the kids' pool. It seems more suitable for children below 3 years old, as the area is quite small and the water slide is not very powerful. My friend's child and mine are both 8 years old, and they were unable to stand comfortably in the adult pool, which is 120 cm deep. That was a bit disappointing.
However, I can honestly say that the service throughout our Bali trip was excellent. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Bali's hospitality was truly top-notch.FromTHB 4,331

First off, the room size and staff service were excellent. Although the condition isn't great, kids' life jackets are available for free, and they also offer free bicycle rentals. However, the swimming pool was a huge disappointment; it was small, and the water quality made me question if this was the best they could do for a hotel of this caliber. The breakfast, on the other hand, was well worth the price. They offered plenty of fruit (mango and mangosteen), and the gelato ice cream tasted incredibly high-end. You could also take drinks to go, and they even had kimchi stew, haha! The food quality was great because it was ordered à la carte instead of a typical buffet, and there were hardly any missed orders, even with Bali coming in. Overall, it was a good experience. Overall, this hotel delivered on every aspect that mattered to me—warm and genuine hospitality, an excellent breakfast, spacious rooms, thoughtful sustainability practices, and a location that's close to everything without feeling overly crowded.
I stayed here for a week for work, and by the end of my trip, I honestly didn't want to leave. The hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Satya, who escorted us to our rooms after a long and tiring flight. Since we arrived before the official check-in time, the team kindly prepared one of our rooms early so we could freshen up and get some rest while waiting for the others. It was a small gesture that made a huge difference after traveling.
Breakfast
One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because so many reviews praised the breakfast, and now I completely understand why.
Breakfast became one of the highlights of my stay. There was plenty of variety every morning, from freshly cooked eggs to delicious local Indonesian dishes. I also appreciated that breakfast is served until 11:00 AM, which is quite common in Bali and perfect if you've had a late night or arrived early from a flight. In our case, we were able to enjoy breakfast before our rooms were ready.
The breakfast team was incredibly accommodating and always greeted us with a smile. Their hospitality set the tone for the rest of our stay.

The lagoon pool looked beautiful, although I wasn't able to use it because it closes at 7:00 PM. Thankfully, the rooftop pool stays open until 10:00 PM, and I managed to enjoy a relaxing evening swim. The water was warm, and the atmosphere was peaceful after a full day of work.
One thing I really appreciated was the hotel's sustainable design. Only the guest rooms are air-conditioned, while the hallways and common areas are naturally ventilated. It keeps the rooms comfortable while reducing unnecessary energy use—a thoughtful approach that I hope more hotels adopt.
For me, this location was much better than staying along Sunset Road. It felt more local while still being incredibly convenient.

Pros: The pools are big enough for a relaxed and spacious swim. There's an ice cream cafe, and the place is clean. The staff are friendly, and the room has all the essentials: tea, coffee, and water replenished daily.
Cons: Breakfasts are mostly Asian, and they often try to pass off old food as fresh, especially the potatoes and cherry tomatoes. Very few fruits; only watermelon and papaya for the whole week. Absolutely no variety. A huge downside is the noise! If your room is near the elevator, expect constant banging and humming. You can also clearly hear conversations and other noises from the neighboring room.

Mandapa is nestled in the Ubud forest, surrounded by rainforest and built into the mountainside. It's a secluded sanctuary, perfect for cleansing the soul and allowing me to slowly and peacefully savor every day of my vacation.
I was particularly impressed with their butler service. During my three-day, two-night stay, everything was meticulously planned for me, from the transfer service to and from the hotel in Jimbaran Bay, to my river adventure, spa appointments, scheduled photography session, and dinner reservations. My butler orchestrated everything, acting like a personal secretary.
Furthermore, most of the hotel's restaurants are outdoors, allowing guests to dine amidst the forest. Surprisingly, the environmental hygiene and insect control were excellent, which I truly appreciated. The villa's cleanliness was also ideal; I didn't spot a single spiderweb, ant, small spider, or any other insect or dust mite within the 430-square-meter villa. The hygiene was superb.
The overall ambiance of the hotel felt incredibly serene and relaxing, making it perfectly suited for couples to enjoy a slow-paced, leisurely trip.
Regarding the food, I tried breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner at three of their restaurants. The dining atmosphere and food quality were consistently excellent.
The spa lived up to the standards of a 6-star hotel!
Given its Michelin 3-star status, the hotel truly meets that benchmark.
One minor thing to note is that during dinner at one of their Indonesian restaurants, there's a traditional Indonesian dance performance where performers wear a deity mask.
