Paper arrival cards, the standalone e-CD (Electronic Customs Declaration), and SATUSEHAT health declarations have all been combined into one unified All Indonesia digital arrival card. This is now mandatory for arrivals at Jakarta (CGK), Bali (DPS), and Surabaya (SUB) airports, as well as Batam seaports.
The traditional e-CD is still required for all other Indonesian entry points until the All Indonesia system is fully rolled out nationwide. Both platforms are free, official, and completely digital—so you can say goodbye to paper forms!

Make sure you have your full legal name, passport number, nationality, flight or vessel number, arrival date and time, the full address where you’ll be staying in Indonesia (including the hotel name, street, and city), and the total number of checked bags. If you’re traveling as a group, you can easily add details for family or companions (up to 10 people) in the same submission. Just be sure to double-check everything for typos—incorrect information can cause your QR code to be invalidated!
- Fill out your customs and health declaration forms
Answer your customs questions: Let us know if you’re carrying any dutiable or prohibited items (like alcohol, tobacco, electronics, or cash exceeding IDR 100 million). For the health declaration, simply share your current health status. Please select “Yes” or “No” for every question—we need clear answers to keep things moving smoothly!
- Review and submit the form
Take a moment to look over your entire form to make sure all your personal, travel, and declaration details are spot on. Once you're confident everything is correct, go ahead and click Submit—just keep in mind that you won't be able to make any changes after that, so double-check before you finalize! - Get and save your unique QR code
Your declaration QR code will pop up on the screen in an instant, and we'll also email a copy to your registered address (if you provided one). Be sure to screenshot that QR code, download the PDF, or print a physical copy—it's a great idea to save it in at least two places (like your phone's photo album or the cloud) just to be safe. You'll need this handy code for both immigration and customs, so keep it close!

Please fill in all required details exactly as they appear on your passport or travel documents:
Make sure you have your full name (exactly as it appears in your passport), passport number, nationality, flight or vessel details, arrival date, the address where you’ll be staying in Indonesia (whether it’s a hotel or residence), and the total number of bags you’re bringing. If you’re traveling as a group, you can easily add family members to the same form. Just be sure to double-check everything before you submit to avoid any hiccups with customs!
- Complete your item declaration details
You’ll be asked to confirm whether you’re bringing any dutiable or prohibited items into Indonesia—think tobacco, alcohol, high-value goods, or large amounts of cash. Simply select "Yes" if you’re carrying any of these, or "No" if you have nothing to declare. Just remember to answer honestly to stay in line with Indonesian customs regulations! - Review and submit the form

- Get and save your QR code
A unique QR code will be generated immediately after successful submission. Screenshot the QR code directly or download the PDF version to your phone/device. You must present this QR code to Indonesian customs officers upon arrival – a printed copy is recommended as a backup for low-battery or Internet issues.

We booked a family room with one bed through Trip, and it was cheaper than the identical room with two beds, even though both room types were the same price on the hotel's website. I messaged the hotel support on WhatsApp asking to change the room type, and they changed it without any issues. Before check-in, they sent an email about the option for online check-in, allowing us to upload passport scans beforehand to avoid waiting at the reception. The check-in process was quick. Upon arrival, we immediately received our room cards and a complimentary welcome drink for everyone. The pool area is fantastic; the kids loved the slides, and we all participated in the contests organized by the animators. The location is perfect, situated between Beachwalk shopping mall and Waterbom Waterpark, with the beach just across the road. The breakfasts were good, with plenty of fruits and sweets. They even had milk porridge every other day, which my son happily ate. Housekeeping cleaned daily and replaced towels. The only downsides were the very narrow balconies, only suitable for drying clothes, and the difficulty in finding sun loungers, especially four together for the whole family. On the very first day of our stay, my husband got severe food poisoning after breakfast. We couldn't pinpoint the exact food, but it might have been the eggs (omelet). The sea doesn't match the photos on the hotel's page; in reality, you can't really swim in it. In the bay, the water only reaches an adult's waist at most, even up to the buoys, and there's a lot of seaweed in the water. Anyone who dislikes algae at the bottom and in the water will be very uncomfortable. If you want to swim, you'll need to go to other beaches towards the southern part of the island. Location is generally good. Accessible to a lot of locations. Staff can be friendlier considering its a 4 stars hotel. Simple gesture like pressing the lift, helping to open door when car arrive are value added bonuses. Room sound proof is pretty bad. Can literally hear kids laughing sound or the sound from the pool.
Got to take extra note when check out as well. They dont check the room and just discharge accordingly, so if you left item inside, so be it.

The sunset was absolutely stunning! I spent nearly two hours mesmerized by it at the private beach's sunset bar. The live music was so relaxing, making it the perfect spot to simply unwind and indulge in the luxury of doing nothing. The staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. They offered a complimentary shuttle service, taking me wherever I wanted to go and picking me up afterwards. As a solo traveler, I was initially a bit apprehensive since I didn't encounter any other Japanese guests. However, when the popular local warung (eatery) I wanted to visit was closed, they kindly took me back the next day. Also, when the hotel spa was fully booked and I mentioned wanting to try a local spa, they drove me there with the shuttle and even offered to take me to another place if it was also full. This is a premium hotel far outside of Ubud center. Be aware you are about 30 minutes from Ubud if you stay here and there really isn't much to do in the immediate area besides stare at the jungle. Staff was outstanding here with frequent greetings by name and remembering you like a Ritz Carlton.
Because I enjoy regular outings I actually found the location quite inconvenient as an hour a day would have to be devoted just to getting to and from Ubud.
The room I got was enormous and included a dining room, sitting room, bedroom, large bathroom. The in room amenities were great including a free restocking mini bar with snacks (no alcohol) and a large smart TV. The bed was huge, soft, and comfortable.
The bathtub was a downside as it was quite small by western standards (not as small as a japanese tub though). I'm not a very big individual at 173cm and I felt it was too narrow and not long enough. Perhaps suitable for petite individuals only. Be aware of that if like me and many Americans you prefer baths over showers.
The property is very large and you will likely want to regularly use the phone to request the on site golf cart shuttles to get around it as otherwise you will spend much of your time walking uphill from the rooms to the amenities near the entrance like the restaurant and pool.FromINR 6,851

Everything else is great, which is why I've returned here so many times. But this time, I saw something I wish I hadn't. I ordered noodle soup with an egg, and for some reason, I waited a long time at the noodle station. It turns out they were boiling eggs (still in their shells!) in the noodle soup broth. Can you imagine? I'm not trying to be a clean freak, but for a hotel of this caliber, is that really their SOP? I asked a staff member, and they confirmed that's how they do it. So, all this time I've been staying here and ordering noodle soup like this, but I just never saw it. I canceled all three of my noodle soup orders. If I hadn't waited there and if that female staff member hadn't taken out the eggs with their shells once they were cooked, I probably would have eaten the noodle soup like I always did. It's not going to kill me, but is that really their SOP, especially for a hotel with 'Aston' in its name? My cleanliness rating for this place, specifically because of this, is a B. The hotel's location is excellent; we could watch the beach sunset from the 6th-floor restaurant. After the sun set, it was just a convenient 5-minute walk to the nearby beach, and the evening glow was beautiful. The breakfast was plentiful, with both Western and Indonesian options. I highly recommend the coconut milk beef soup; its flavor was uniquely wonderful. For dinner, we ate at the 6th-floor restaurant while watching the sunset. We ordered grilled fish, but they didn't have the one on the menu and substituted it with blue marlin. It was grilled so tough it was hard to chew and had no flavor. So, the next evening, we went to the convenient Village Hotel next to the Fox Hotel for dinner, and it was delicious. Just about ten meters out of the hotel alley, at the intersection, there's a small shop selling various souvenirs, which are quite cheap and worth a look. The bottled water provided by the hotel felt like it was refilled, so I didn't dare to drink it. We bought large bottles of water from the small shop for drinking and brushing our teeth. The hotel was very nice; even though they were fully booked, they still allowed us to check out an hour late. Around 1 PM, the hotel lobby was breezy and quite cool.FromINR 3,075

Good day! This was our first time visiting this hotel. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. Let's start with the pros: nice spacious rooms, a great view, wonderful pillows, and delicious breakfasts. The beach is beautiful with easy access to the water.
Now for the cons: 1. The hotel is starting to show its age and needs renovation, especially the common areas. 2. Beach cleaning was slow. 3. It was difficult to find a sun lounger; if you didn't claim one early in the morning, you risked being without one. There were also issues with towels. 4. The restaurants were very expensive, about three times pricier than those at Bali Collection. There was an incident with our room, and it took a while to resolve the issue. However, to the hotel's credit, they offered us a complimentary meal at the Chinese restaurant as a nice gesture. Also, there's absolutely nothing for teenagers to do; there are no entertainment options for them (no table tennis, no billiards) – nothing at all.FromINR 27,775

Overall, everything was good. My kids loved the Kid's Club, and all the staff there were very friendly and helpful.
Bali Collection provides a shuttle service through Holiday Inn, which was very convenient. The hotel is not located on the busiest street, but there are several restaurants within a few minutes' walk. There are also three mini marts just outside the hotel, which is very handy.
The only downside was the kids' pool. It seems more suitable for children below 3 years old, as the area is quite small and the water slide is not very powerful. My friend's child and mine are both 8 years old, and they were unable to stand comfortably in the adult pool, which is 120 cm deep. That was a bit disappointing.
However, I can honestly say that the service throughout our Bali trip was excellent. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Bali's hospitality was truly top-notch.FromINR 11,070

Great location near the airport, about a 15-20 minute drive. Jimbaran Beach is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel, perfect for watching sunsets and enjoying dinner with an ocean view.
I highly recommend this hotel for families with children. There's a large kids' club and several children's pools with various water features. Our child always had plenty to do.
Also, there's a pleasant little street near the hotel with cafes and shops, great for a stroll.

We had a wonderful stay at Andaz Bali. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, with a great balance of modern comfort and Balinese character.
We stayed in the lagoon access suite, which was definitely a highlight of the trip. Having direct access from our terrace into the lagoon was fantastic, and being able to swim all the way to the main pool made the experience feel really special. The suite itself was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed.
The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive. Alacarte buffet breakfast offered a great variety of local and international options and hand crafted juices and smoothies. Everything we tried throughout our stay was excellent.

Pros: The pools are big enough for a relaxed and spacious swim. There's an ice cream cafe, and the place is clean. The staff are friendly, and the room has all the essentials: tea, coffee, and water replenished daily.
Cons: Breakfasts are mostly Asian, and they often try to pass off old food as fresh, especially the potatoes and cherry tomatoes. Very few fruits; only watermelon and papaya for the whole week. Absolutely no variety. A huge downside is the noise! If your room is near the elevator, expect constant banging and humming. You can also clearly hear conversations and other noises from the neighboring room.
