The best time to travel to Guangzhou is in spring from April to May, and in late autumn and early winter from October to early December. These seasons have moderate temperatures and low humidity, making them ideal for exploring this outdoor attraction rich in cultural heritage. In spring, Guangzhou is filled with flowers everywhere, adding a brilliant touch to the tourism. Autumn is renowned for its bright sunshine and cool climate, making it an ideal time for cycling and outdoor activities. It is not disturbed by rain, which helps avoid the peak tourist periods of the Canton Fair, the New Year and the National Day Golden Week, as hotel prices are higher and scenic spots are very crowded at those times.

This was my first time at a park like this, and I loved seeing animals free from cages and enclosures! It was a fascinating journey into the world of wildlife! I loved the green area and the pavilions where you can cool off in the heat and observe the animals! I didn't like that the tram was so fast that it wasn't always possible to see the animals; the entire ride took 20 minutes, and we waited in line for an hour! I also didn't like that visitors in private cars blocked my view. Overall, I recommend visiting this safari park, preferably during the cooler season.

My husband and I visited the park. It's very large. We spent about four hours there. It's best to arrive in the afternoon, as everyone was there early in the morning, so there were lines for security and entry. It was my first time buying a ticket online and I was a little apprehensive (since there was no ticket, no QR code, nothing). But we showed our passports at the entrance, and everyone let us in!

Super park 🤗 After the entrance there is a bridge and after the bridge I recommend waiting for the safari train, it's very interesting when they take you and you look at the animals 🤗 The park itself is very big, we walked for 4 hours and covered 40% of the entire park 🙈 We were amazed by the little tiger cubs and the overall number of tigers in this park 😍

The zoo is wonderful. You can see the animals up close on the little train. The lines are long, but everything moves quickly and is well-organized. We got caught in a downpour (there's plenty of shelter), and they closed the rope. After about an hour and a half, the rain stopped, and everyone was back in. We fed the giraffes, and they were simply wonderful. It was a huge experience. One day is enough just to explore. It's best to arrive at opening time to see everything.

Chimelong Paradise in Guangdong is a great place for both adults and children. It's easily accessible via Chimelong Metro Station. The park offers a wide variety of rides and attractions, catering to both young adults and children, ensuring a fun-filled day. Chimelong Safari Park features many different animals, with pandas and tigers being the most captivating.

Some say travel is an expensive luxury, but I say it's a necessity for the soul, like fish needing to swim upstream, like birds needing to migrate. When I'm trapped in the daily grind, it's the distant, faint sound of drums that calls me to set sail again. Travel isn't about watching, but about participating—participating in a different rhythm, a different color, a different scent that forms a web of memories. In a foreign market, I heard the most primal cries; under a dilapidated stage, I felt the most genuine joys and sorrows. Those unadorned fragments of life are more moving than any famous landmark. Gradually, I understood that the destination of travel isn't a place name, but the sudden enlightenment that comes from rediscovering oneself. As I sat on the return journey, the scenery outside the window flashed by like a rewind, yet my heart was filled with an unprecedented abundance. Poetry isn't in books, but in the sound of footsteps rubbing against the earth; the distant horizon isn't on a map, but in every moment my heart races. The springtime of life is this freedom to leave at any time, and the courage to still love the present after returning.

Of all the circuses I have seen across China, Guangzhou was by far the best. I would say they elevated the circus to an art form. It completely captivated me for a little over two hours. With its overwhelming scale, performers from around the world, and even numerous animal acts, I highly recommend this as a show you shouldn't miss, despite the somewhat high ticket price.

A great park in Guangzhou. Lots of extreme rides. Tickets are cheaper on Trip.com. Booking a day in advance is even cheaper. It's not very crowded. The longest ride is 20 minutes. But if it rains, the rides stop operating.

Absolutely thrilling! Chimelong Paradise is a must-visit for coaster lovers—the 90° vertical drop and record-breaking Ten Inversion coaster are insane (in the best way). Huge variety of rides, great for both adrenaline junkies and families with kids. Shows and parades add extra fun throughout the day.Pros: World-class coasters, clean park, friendly staff.Cons: Food is pricey and just okay—eat before or after. Lines can get long, so go on a weekday and arrive early.Overall, an action-packed, unforgettable day. Highly recommend for the rides alone!
