Best time to Vist Guangzhou

The best time to travel to Guangzhou is in spring from April to May, and in late autumn and early winter from October to early December. These seasons have moderate temperatures and low humidity, making them ideal for exploring this outdoor attraction rich in cultural heritage. In spring, Guangzhou is filled with flowers everywhere, adding a brilliant touch to the tourism. Autumn is renowned for its bright sunshine and cool climate, making it an ideal time for cycling and outdoor activities. It is not disturbed by rain, which helps avoid the peak tourist periods of the Canton Fair, the New Year and the National Day Golden Week, as hotel prices are higher and scenic spots are very crowded at those times.

Lots of animals to see! Self-drive tour in is very good 👍🏻 However, it rains too much, watching animals can, eating inside is not recommended

My son really love going here. The animals so healthy. I'm amazed how they can breed some of the animals here like the tiger and koala. We went here duting summer, and the safati park put fan and water mist along the way to keep guests cool during hot weather. The staff also so helpful.

5/5
It was one of the coolest days in Guangzhou! Chimelong Safari Park isn't just a zoo, it's a true adventure. The train ride through the savannah was the most impressive – the giraffes and zebras come so close you can touch them! And the aerial cable car offers incredible views from above. The bears are a special treat; there's a whole family of them here, and they're so funny. I recommend it to anyone traveling to Guangzhou with children or just looking for a positive energy boost! 🐼🦒✨

4/5
It wasn't as good as I expected; the zoo was a bit smaller. Maybe because we didn't take the tour bus, there weren't many things to see.

5/5
Amazing safari..nice environment, staff helpful, there were many entertainment activities, just because in June the weather is super hot so I can't really fully enjoy it.is a good place for families with children bonding.

A cultural journey through an ancient academy is imbued with the scholarly atmosphere of bygone days. Old ginkgo trees line the stone-paved courtyard, and old-fashioned tables and chairs still adorn the lecture hall. The walls are engraved with the names of ancient scholars, their words brimming with youthful spirit. Sitting on a stone bench in the courtyard, the wind rustling through the corridors seems to carry the sounds of students reciting their lessons, the air itself filled with the faint scent of ink. A restless heart is instantly calmed, and one can't help but recall one's own youthful days of study.

In winter, the village market is bustling with people. Vendors selling vegetables, meat, candy, and Spring Festival couplets call out their wares, their faces flushed with smiles despite the cold. You buy a string of freshly fried dough twists, eating them hot and crispy as you walk, then pick out a couple of red Spring Festival couplets and a few bunches of dried winter plum blossoms. Carrying two large, full bags, you feel warm all over, your heart brimming with the joy of the New Year.

5/5
In summer, you can go to the riverside night market. The stalls are set up on the walkway along the riverbank. The wind blows from the river, so it's not stuffy at all. The owners are all locals. They give you generous portions and the prices are reasonable. The grilled fish is fresh and flavorful, and the cucumber salad is crisp and refreshing. Sitting on the riverbank, you can eat and watch the lights on the river. It's much more comfortable than eating in a closed restaurant. You can eat until you're stuffed and it won't cost much.

5/5
As someone who frequently visits zoos, I think this one is really well done! The animals were all in great condition; the pandas were chubby and constantly climbing trees, and the tigers were strolling around freely, not just lying around lazily. The information boards were very detailed, clearly explaining the origin and habits of each animal. The walkways were also well-designed, allowing for close observation without disturbing the animals. You could easily spend an afternoon there, which is much more comfortable than many tours that only visit overlapping attractions.

A great safari visit with my kiddos during school holidays. We had a great times here

I haven't gone to a circus for a long time, because I don't feel special after watching it a lot. Now taking 11 and 15 children there, they are very happy to see, my wife and I are very satisfied.

The best part of the experience was watching the amazing performance.

5/5
Went on a friday, some of the rides at close but it doesn’t matter to us as we are there with a baby. There many performances and shows and generally we and our baby enjoy it. Only downside is summer and the weather is very hot, humid and sudden rain.

5/5
Visiting the paper-cutting art exhibition was a truly amazing experience, showcasing a small craft. The walls were covered with paper-cuts of different styles; some were delicate enough to create layers of petals, while others had a bold, folk-style feel. An experienced craftsman demonstrated how to cut lifelike zodiac animals from a single sheet of red paper and a pair of scissors, without even needing a draft. After looking around, I realized that such a small pair of scissors could create so many beautiful designs, and I couldn't help but admire the charm of this traditional craft.

5/5
Great amusement park! Great rides! There weren't many people and the lines moved quickly. We saw the parade and magic show! I highly recommend it with kids!
