The location is excellent, very close to the Changbai Mountain Chixi Distribution Center, less than a five-minute walk, which made getting to the scenic area incredibly convenient.
The room was well-equipped, the kettle worked perfectly, and the bathroom was spacious. We stayed for two nights, and during our extended stay, housekeeping promptly cleared trash and restocked disposables like toothbrushes. The room had free WiFi with normal speeds, and it was generally quiet with no significant noise disturbance. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the west slope of Changbai Mountain."

Guest UserThis hotel is in an excellent location, just a few hundred meters from the Wanda Resort, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, and beautiful scenery. The owner is incredibly welcoming, always smiling with a warm, honest expression. Their travel itinerary suggestions are exceptionally professional; they planned our three-day trip perfectly, ensuring we saw everything without feeling rushed or tired. It truly felt like coming home, and it significantly improved my impression of Northeast China. Definitely a full-mark recommendation!

YdfcoolwindMy flight landed in Changbai Mountain at 11:15 PM, and I had tickets for the West Slope at 7:30 AM the next day.
After much deliberation, I chose the Blue River Hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. It saved me both travel time and distance, and I had a comfortable and safe stay.
The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, right at the old West Slope entrance. This saved me the trip from Wanda or the town to the main entrance, and then to the old entrance. From the old entrance, you just take a shuttle bus into the West Slope scenic area, and it drops you right at the base of Tianchi Lake.
The hotel lobby is incredibly spacious, parking is convenient, the rooms are well-equipped, and they even provide complimentary welcome fruit.
Breakfast starts promptly at 7 AM, with a good variety of options. The taste was decent, and I even snuck out two steamed buns to eat on the mountain 😂. I highly recommend the peach juice; the peaches 🍑 from Changbai Mountain are incredibly appealing.
The front desk staff were so polite I almost felt embarrassed 😅. When I checked in, they recognized my name from a distance. The next day, as I left, they reminded me to take my umbrella. And when I returned in the afternoon to collect my luggage after exploring, they gave me more fruit and water, and kept asking if there was anything they could have done better.
In summary, while the facilities might be a bit older, their shortcomings don't overshadow the positives. I highly recommend this hotel 🏨 to anyone following a similar itinerary as mine.

Guest UserThe room was incredibly unique, exquisite, and very well-maintained. You could tell a lot of thought went into the design, and the color scheme was beautiful. Everything from check-in to communication with the butler was seamless. The complimentary activities offered by the hotel were great fun, especially the rafting, which was quite interesting. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, the best I've had among several hotels in Changbai Mountain. I personally really loved this hotel. For someone who dislikes crowds, I absolutely adored the tranquility and the sounds of birds and flowers here. The hotel's main restaurant was also fantastic. Huameishengdi (presumably a hotel or resort area) is far superior to Wanda overall. If you're looking for a resort-like experience, don't hesitate – choose Huameishengdi, and specifically this hotel (the complimentary benefits are also very comprehensive!).

After the Mid-Autumn Festival here, the moon cakes were very sweet, and I saw the fireworks, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. I brought my parents to live for 3 days and the whole family was very satisfied! In the homestay, quiet in the middle of noisy, there is a small yard at the door, and a small vegetable garden planted by the boss himself. It is very warm and clean. My parents can drink tea and sunbathe there every morning. The boss was very patient and helped us plan a slow tour route that was not in a hurry. The location was simply excellent and it was very close to our attractions. The room is quiet, the layout is warm and distinctive, the furniture in the comfortable room is not sharp corners, the hot water is stable for 24 hours, and the water temperature is also suitable for elders. The hygiene is done carefully, and there is no dust in the depths of the wardrobe. My parents said that it is more comfortable than living at home! No matter the facilities, sanitation, environment, and service are impeccable in all aspects, it is simply the best choice for travel!

The pros are: the rooms are spacious, the view is nice, and the evening shows were very interesting – we watched them for two nights and they were different each time, highly recommended! The performers were excellent and not to be missed. The cons are: the service attitude of all the staff throughout the resort, including those at various attractions, the hotel, and the restaurants in the commercial street, was terrible. So bad that we were stunned. So, we've been here, but we won't be coming back. After all, we almost starved because we couldn't find any good food.

登家老六This is definitely the go-to resort hotel in the Huamei Resort area. Located on a hill, it felt like a tranquil oasis during the peak summer season, especially compared to the crowded commercial street and hotel district downhill. It truly offered a vacation vibe. The room had a fantastic mountain view from the foothills, and the balcony was sunny with expansive, unobstructed views of Changbai Mountain. The small infinity pool with a hot tub was excellent, measuring 15 meters long and 1.5 meters deep. The hotel's decor featured a lot of wood tones, and the bathroom was fully equipped with Kohler fixtures, including a convenient electric bidet toilet. The breakfast restaurant was small but elegant, with well-arranged seating. Overall, it was the most satisfying stay during our holiday. Special thanks to Xiao Wei and Xiao Zhuang; one of our rooms even got upgraded to a suite. There's also a cat in the hotel garden!
Transportation tip: If you're driving, you can park right outside the hotel on the roadside; there are plenty of spots. Outside the main entrance, you can also rent shared electric scooters for the scenic area by scanning a QR code. For public transport, there's a scenic area shuttle bus that stops right at the hotel's main entrance.

Guest UserThe hotel is a bit old-fashioned, and there's an odor in the elevator. However, the room hygiene is excellent, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. You can also enjoy hot spring water showers and direct cold mineral water. The price is very good. The complimentary hot spring tickets offer great value, allowing you to try all the indoor (bicarbonate/strontium pools) and outdoor (herbal pools) hot springs. There are also some spa treatments that are perfect for a family outing. Most pools are warm, but you can also challenge yourself with a high-temperature pool to work up a sweat.

ZhenyuanAs a five-star resort hotel, the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and my kids particularly loved it. The pickled cabbage and pork rib soup for breakfast was a delicious taste of Northeast China, while the other offerings were standard. The fruit selection was limited to only two types. The hotel's location is ideal for those traveling by car, about a 10-minute drive from Songjianghe Town. The EV charging stations are slow chargers, which might not be sufficient during peak season for self-driving guests. The hotel's forest trail is a definite highlight, perfect for a leisurely stroll! The gym, however, lacked towels and drinking water, possibly due to low usage leading to insufficient maintenance.

This guesthouse has such a great vibe! The front desk area itself was already lovely, very Western European in style, and the rooms also had a fantastic atmosphere. The concierge messaged me on WeChat beforehand and gave me tons of tips and recommendations. It's only about a 15-minute walk from the guesthouse to the visitor center, which is super convenient.
They also offer activities like handicrafts, sutra copying,溪溯, and ginseng digging – so many experiences to enjoy! 🤩
Another pleasant surprise was getting a room upgrade, which also included breakfast. I absolutely love the front desk lady! 😍
