Great
SShaun400seThe Moxy at EDI airport always works for us. It’s handy, polished, efficient and great value. However on this occasion our late night arrival (at 0130) to get some much needed sleep after a long late night journey, prior to picking up a hire car from AVIS at 0900 the following morning was selfishly marred by fellow guests.
Bluntly put, an apparently “elderly couple” in the room directly above us, on the 3rd floor of the hotel, had an early check in for a 7am flight. So they decided to get up at 2am! And they shuffled and they banged and they clanged and they knocked and they farted about for a period of 2+ hours until gone 4am when HALLELUJAH they finally left!
I have suggested to the hotel - the night manager btw was superb and did his best to deal with the situation, albeit to little effect - that ANYONE checking out for an early flight should be put in a ground or first floor room, so as not to create problems for fellow guests and incidentally - as we entered our room, showered and went to bed, we were as quiet as MICE so as not to put other fellow guests through exactly what we were then subjected to.
This issue is not really a hotel problem, it’s just selfish people at work, not thinking about the consequences of their actions, however the hotel probably could do with a check box when booking along the lines of “will you be checking in late or checking out early, if so please request a room on the ground or 1st floors”

AAnonymous UserThis was my first time bringing my mom back to Edinburgh since graduation, and this hotel was always on my wish list when I was a student. The room offered a view of Calton Hill, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. It would have been even better if the room was on a higher floor. Plus, the haggis at the hotel breakfast was delicious, even better than the one at Haggis Box!

GGuest UserI booked a king-size bed room and requested a quiet and non-smoking room. Due to language problems, the check-in was very considerate. The front desk could store my luggage. The waiter took me to the room. Everyone was very friendly, which made me feel like God's treatment. The most important thing was that the room was clean and tidy as soon as I entered it, and the decoration was also very new. Wow, it was the blue-green color that I really liked. The whole room was warm and romantic, and I felt like I was back home. It was a very beautiful room and a very satisfactory stay experience. I will choose this place again next time. I must give them a big praise, like it! ! !

GGuest UserWhen we arrived our room was ready an hour early which was a good start and it only got better. The staff where all very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast had a great selection and was kept well filled, the swimming pool although not huge was never busy but it was January and it pleasantly warm. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location only 15 mins walk from Princess street and about 10mins from Edinburgh Castle. We had a lovely stay and would stay there again.

PPangouThe hotel's location near the train station is a huge plus, making transport incredibly convenient. We received attentive service, and the breakfast was quite good. However, Google Maps gave misleading directions, which led me to carry my luggage up five flights of stairs. It turns out there's an elevator, but it's not clearly marked with the hotel's logo, making it challenging for first-time visitors to find.

GGuest UserMy stay at Four Points by Sheraton Edinburgh has been overall very satisfactory. The location can be quite tricky but I did not mind the walk to Princes Street which is about 10 minutes. The amenities provided were good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The cleaning staff did a good job but since it is a rug flooring, I found that nails from previous guests were still on the flooring which indicated it needed a proper cleaning process.
The check-out time of the hotel (11 a.m.) does not coincide with that on the site (12 00) but it was not an issue since the staff let us keep the room until 11 30 a.m.
SSMYTGreat accommodation for solo travellers. When I arrive I was met with a very friendly receptionist who briefed me on the stay. The reception and the bedrooms were in separate buildings for me (Old Town) but only across the road. The beds was comfortable and I was fortunate enough to have roommates who were quiet. Toilets and showers are separate, and it is clean every now and then. 4 stars because it is quite tight inside the shower the overall really good for what price you pay and would definitely come back again.

FFatima IssaA Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended!
My friend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property, and we had an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the attention to detail and the warmth of the staff. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we both got a restful night’s sleep.
What truly stood out, however, was the level of service. I was feeling a bit under the weather during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing breakfast directly to our room, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. This level of care really goes a long way in making guests feel valued.
For those who prefer to enjoy their breakfast with a bit of fresh air, the hotel also has a charming terrace where you can take your meal while soaking in the surroundings. It's the perfect way to start the day if you want to enjoy a bit of sunshine.
The location is also a major plus. It’s just a short walk to the city center, making it easy to explore, and for those who prefer not to walk, a quick 5-minute bus ride will take you wherever you need to go.
The lounge area at the hotel is another highlight. It’s spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with blankets to keep guests comfortable if the temperature drops. It provided the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. The combination of comfort, thoughtful service, and a prime location makes it a top choice. We will definitely be staying here again when we return!

JJayden_971017This place is fine if you're just looking for a one or two-night stay. I was assigned a room on the first floor, and there was some noise from people running in the hallway, but other than that, it was okay.
