Cheap Hotels in Perth

"The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Perth CBD. We really enjoyed our stay, and the price was definitely worth it, especially for a family of 5 staying in such a convenient city area. We also received a drink voucher for redemption at the bar downstairs, which was a nice little bonus😍 Just a note if you are driving: there is a Wilson Parking lot nearby, but the parking fee can be quite pricey. We paid AUD$33 for parking from 10pm to 7:30am the next morning. Since the hotel is just a short walk from Perth Station, public transport might be a more convenient option!"

"Excellent location...probably one of the best on thr street. Good amenities and close by to all the things you want to do in the city. Rooms are clean and of high standard, decent gym available. Overall, very happy with the hotel."

"The location is convenient, and the price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. I paid less for three nights here than I would have at many other properties. However, parking is a major issue. The property appears to have more than 50 apartments but only around 20 parking spaces. Finding a parking spot is a matter of luck, and even when a space is available, the parking bays are very small and difficult to maneuver into. I stayed for four days, but housekeeping did not come to service the room or replace the towels during my stay. Another downside was the air conditioner, which kept turning off every couple of hours, seemingly due to a timer setting. This was quite inconvenient, especially at night. Overall, this is a budget-friendly option with a good location, but the parking, housekeeping, and air-conditioning issues affected my experience."

"This was a fantastic stay! The front desk staff were warm and efficient with both check-in and check-out. The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corners were spotless, and there were no strange odors. The bedding was soft and the pillows were comfortable. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, making it very quiet at night. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water supply was stable. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to find places to eat and get around. Overall, it's great value for money, and I felt very comfortable throughout my trip. I'll prioritize this hotel for my next trip and highly recommend it to everyone!"

"The location is not closed to Perth station, need to walk 15 mins. But it is closed to William street and there are a variety of restaurants! We stayed for two nights. The room in second night is is too small and we cannot open a big luggage. There is no hair conditioner provided. Please bring your own. We were located near the car park on ground floor. It was very noisy. Staff is nice to lend us umbrella when it was raining."

"The room size was just right, and it even had a small table. The twin beds, at 1.3 meters wide, were quite comfortable. The room facilities were basic but very clean. The electrical outlets were a bit loose, and there was no drinking water provided. The location was super convenient – close to everything. The station was within walking distance, and even getting to the pier wasn't much of a problem. There were also cat buses nearby."

"September 2026: When I booked this hotel, I knew that the pool will be closed for renovations till end August 2026. However, 3 days before checking in, I received an email to inform me of this forthcoming booking. Buried deep within this email is a note that the pool will remain closed until end of September. This is really unfair to customers. I have booked this hotel early to get the best price and 3 days prior to my check in, Trip expects me to find another hotel with equivalent value! Anyway, I don't like this 5 star hotel. The location is not near to the centre of the CBD. The decor is also less practical. There were so many light switches without labels making it hard to discern what switch activates which lights. There was also inadequate storage area. Two drawers were provided but filled with hotel contents. I wished that the bedside tables have drawers. There was also no desk table to do some work. There is wasted space due to the big couch in front of the curtains. There was no setback between the couch and the curtains to draw the curtains closed or open."

"This hotel is located north of Perth city, about 16 kilometers from the city center, making it very convenient for visiting the Pinnacles Desert with minimal traffic. There's a large supermarket and a gas station nearby. The underground parking garage costs AUD 25 per day, which is perfect for self-driving travelers. The balcony offers a stunning ocean view, and the sunsets are incredibly beautiful. It's definitely worth staying here."

"A great stay, great location close to the CBD by bus (10 mins) to Perth Central Train Station. Big rooms, very clean, good beds and clean linen. Breakfast for an extra 15.00 AUD. Quiet location, a great park area at the front of the motel. Close walk to the Riverina area of East Perth. Will definitely stay here again. Good price for a nights stay."

"Hi , YHA Fremantle Prison, Wow! What an amazing experience and im so glad i stayed here, and thankyou so much for being so accommadting and understanding , and well for letting me book with late notice and guided me to after hours checkin, and well the guy who was working after hours on the 31st May Sunday night,...... 💯👌🙏❤️ so welcoming and was down to earth, and made me feel good about the whole.stay and just a very calming presence and over the phone also , very understanding and reassured me to not stress and be safe and to get here when i get here. He was thankful i got there at reasonable hour, cosidering it was after 9pm , was travelling from the city and through the storm so it was 10.30pm maybe a little after 10.45pm,...... and so he was very grateful but very good about me being a late check in , as i rang to make sure i was able to stay without a passport. I.was very happy to find that i could book without passport 🙏🥹💯❤️👌 I had the best night sleep, the best shower before bed, the facilities were amazing and the whole experience was beyond my expectations and exceeded all my thoughts of what was to be. I cant thank you guys enough! I will be back! Im staying longer next time so i can explore the Fremantle Prison as i have wanted to now for many.of years and the canal tour also ive wanted.to always do. The grounds, the care , the information on history , on every wall, evey building, everything was to standard and presentation that was 11/10 👌💯 brillant! I am and was well impressed! And cant wait to stay again and with a little more pre planning and booking earlier on and having a bit more a plan next trip. As my stay at YHA was very last minute , and because i missed my TransWA bus back to Kojonup.....😏 And well my decision to go up to Perth was very last minute and decision made only 2 days prior to going , and so as it was last minute decision and well i had an idea of a plan of where and who to see while up there, as being last minute things always dont go to plan and so when those moments happened i just rolled with the punches and went with the flow of things, and trusted my gut instinct and trusted my journey and the journey in life i am and well was on while in Perth and so all roads had led me to where i was meant to be , and well all fell into plaxe and worked out in the end and so im grateful beyond words! Truely and honestly 🥹🙏❤️💯😊 Thanks again , and wow amazing stay! And highly recommend! Thankyou so much for the feeling of saftey also being a single female traveller on her own. That also km very appreciative of and grateful beyonds words, so thankyou ❤️🥹 Thanks again Kind regards Tahnee Rai McGlew"
