These comprehensive offerings truly set this hotel apart from many 'quasi-five-star' establishments. **Focus on Wellness:** A key highlight was the in-room exercise equipment accompanied by demo videos, which was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. It's clear that this hotel is designed with a strong focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle. **Areas for Improvement:** One minor drawback: there wasn't a hook near the washbasin area outside the bathroom. I personally felt this would be very useful for hanging a temporarily used towel or bathrobe. Also, no carry bags were available when checking out."

"I have stayed here once before, and I chose this Mercure again when I came to Chengdu this time. The service has been upgraded this year, with free 10-kilometer shuttle service. It is convenient to go to Xindu East Station and the Panda Base. The front desk was as enthusiastic as ever when checking in, and sent welcome tea and asked about the room requirements. I like this 👍. There was a free midnight snack in the evening. Although it was not particularly rich, it was still a good service. Because we were very full at night, we only had some fruit. "房間各方面都很好，是在很高檔的樓裏面。服務有些問題，店家把我們帶到房間後，我們出示身份證給他，他直接用手機拍了我們身份證的照片，這其實是違法的。一般是上傳身份證訊息到入住系統或者與公安聯網的系統。之前入住其他酒店，要麼在前台直接機器讀了身份證，要麼前台拿個可以上傳的機器過來房間。這個直接用手機拍照很不規範讓人很擔心訊息安全問題，入住流程算非常不專業了。"

"Perfect stays in Mercure Jinniu Chengdu. Super warm greetings and hospitality by the team, from front desk to restaurant, and room cleaning staff. Loves the breakfast- wanton noodle, beef noodles, variety of local food and western options(toast, butter ham) for those that has sensitive stomach. Walkable distance to nearby metro, easier alternative is- Didi which is super convenient to go around the town. Definitely gonna stay there again for next visit in ChengDu. Kudos to Mercure Jinniu!"

"The hotel is pretty quaint. There was some confusion about our booking. They forgot about our room upgrade and to extend our checkout time. I only realised it after we had checked into our room. Upon asking, they immediately offered the extension and explained that no room was available for an upgrade. I don't mind, but I prefer to be told at check-in. The afternoon tea reception was nice, and the staff were knowledgeable about their teas. I think it's a popular tea place amongst the locals as well. The twin room image is a bit misleading; it looked much bigger than the actual room. I won't recommend it if you are planning to squeeze another bed into the room for the third person. It was fine for two people. The toilet and shower rooms are open-concept, so if you are shy, this may not be a good room to have."
