"The hotel is close to the airport but far from the center area, the Bolt to the center was not expensive though (about 80 baths). We rented a motorbike and they had free parking under the building. The hotel was nice, specially for that price."

"The first thing that impressed me was the very polite staff. Any questions I had were welcome. The room key was a key card, requiring a 300 baht deposit that was returned after checkout. - After receiving the key card, don't keep it; you'll need to tap it in the elevator to enter your floor number. - On the back of the key card, there's a unique Wi-Fi name and password for each room. - When the door is closed, it will immediately sound an alarm (which I really appreciated, effectively preventing accidents if you forget to close it properly). - Amenities include a TV, air conditioning, a trash can, a shelf, a mini-fridge (with two bottles of water available at no extra charge), a bedside table, a clothes rack, soap (no shampoo, you'll need to buy your own), and a hair dryer. - At the reception, there are free snacks and coffee. There's a microwave for reheating food. - Overall, the hotel is excellent. There's a convenience store right in front of the hotel, so if you get hungry late at night, you can go down and buy some."

"Our room for three was very large and very clean. Good, secure car park. The location is in a student area about 10 minutes drive to the north of Chiang Rai, you'd need your own transport to stay here. There is food and 7-11 nearby. The value for money was excellent, we stayed three nights. However on checkout we had a problem with reception claiming we had caused a depression in the cheap sofa in our room. It was like that when we checked in. This is a good value hotel, I would stay here again, but I recommend showing any problems with the room to reception immediately on check in. We've stayed in many B2s all over Thailand and this was the first time to have trouble at checkout. Eventually the reception staff accepted that the sofa was old and like that when we arrived."

"One budget has many hotel locations in Chiang Rai province. I chose the airport branch for its approximation of where I need to go. Bed is soft, but firm. I honestly slept very well. My only nitpick is I wish there were more food availability at the hotel."

"We had a great experience at this hotel. It's new and extremely clean. Free water is available anytime, and in the morning you can enjoy complimentary coffee and biscuits. The hotel offers access to both a swimming pool and gym. You can even wash and dry your clothes on-site. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The room is spacious with very comfortable beds. We found it quiet despite being right next to the street. Our only observation would be some small bugs in the bathroom, likely from the water or plumbing system. If we return to Chiang Rai, we'll definitely choose the same hotel again."

"The hotel is in a great location, with a great view, and is cheaper than booking directly from the hotel. It's newly opened and very clean. The room is spacious and has plenty of pillows. I usually stay at other branches without breakfast, so you can see the bathroom when people come in. But this branch has breakfast, with instant noodles and rice porridge to choose from. They also have canned milk, fruit juice, and coffee, just like at a minimart. It's a great value."

"Summary I stayed at this riverside hotel and overall had a very pleasant stay. The location is excellent for short taxi trips into town, the spa was a highlight and the bar food and drinks were excellent. Service-wise they were helpful (they arranged drivers for us). The one real downside was the buffet breakfast, which offered very little for vegetarians. My experience I found the hotel comfortable and relaxing. The riverside setting gives it a calm vibe, and it’s only a short taxi ride to the town centre — handy when you want to get out and explore. We spent an afternoon in the spa and both the massage and the facilities were excellent; it was definitely one of the best parts of our stay. Food & drink The bar was a pleasant surprise: the food we tried there was tasty and the drinks were very well made. It was a nice spot for an evening drink and casual dining. Service Staff were friendly and proactive. They were very helpful organising transport — first getting us a local driver, and later arranging a driver to take us on to Chiang Mai, which made travel logistics easy. Location Riverside position is great for atmosphere, and the short taxi ride to town makes it convenient without being in the centre. Good for a quieter base with easy access to sights. Downside The buffet breakfast was disappointing for vegetarians — options were limited, so if you don’t eat meat you may find breakfast choices sparse. If you’re vegetarian I’d recommend checking whether the kitchen can make something off‑menu, or planning to eat elsewhere. Would I recommend it? Yes — especially if you value a relaxed riverside setting, a strong spa and good bar food, and need help with local transport. If you’re vegetarian and rely on hotel breakfasts, be aware the buffet selection is limited."
