We spent an excellent time at ShanYu hotel , excellent location, majestic mountain views, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable. The only upgrades we would have liked are air conditioning (it's pretty hot in August here, notwithstanding the 3200m altitude) and maybe a swimming pool / sauna? That would really help with the recovery after a day of tracking the nearby mountains. Thank you. I definitely recommend it! 👌

Pricey for dorm but this is the standard for Yubeng probably. The dorm has lots of amenities which was nice, so there is no need to bring your own towel, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, toothbrush etc. The breakfast buffet was filling.

Room was clean enough, breakfast was good. The lobby was a comfortable place to sit down and the view outside was incredible. Staff was very friendly and did try to help me where possible. Bed was very very hard. Good for one night but that’s it.

Unfortunately the bathroom in my dorm was very dirty with lots of hair on the floor and towel on the floor. Not sure if I was just unlucky with the cleaning cycle. Its convenient since they have a restaurant and a nice terrace.

I stayed in the 8 person room, there was no view from the room itself but the hotel has a lovely deck with great views, it's situated right at the top of Upper Yubeng so perfect for the glacier lake walk.

The large glass windows face the invincible mountain view. The hotel is the starting point of the glacier lake line. The food in the hotel is also very good. Although it is within the scenic area, the price is acceptable. The breakfast is also good. It would be better if there were thin quilts. Thick quilts are still a bit hot.

Shanyu Hotel in Yubeng is really good value for money. This time, because the team members had something to do, I became a lone ranger. Because of the bad weather, I stayed in Yubeng for 4 days. I changed 2 hotels and it was hard to describe the feeling I had... Until I saw this hotel on the way to the ice lake on the last day, I immediately wanted to change hotels just from the location and the large French windows. When I went down the mountain, I went to the hotel to find out and immediately made a deal. There are very few free travelers staying in Shanyu Hotel, and most of them are small outdoor teams. The hotel lobby is very large and crowded. (The happiest thing about this Yubeng trip is that I met a lot of interesting friends in Shanyu. I have to thank a super cool leader named Bayi. He saw that I was bored sitting alone in the hotel lobby, so he invited me to play cards and games with his team members... Happy) (Shanyu B&B is very suitable for a person to play alone. The hotel is great, and you can get a free guide. Just follow the outdoor team in the hotel wherever you want to go... Must recommend...)

The location is at a higher position in the upper village, with a wide view, large rooms, clean and sanitary. It is worth staying. There is also a restaurant. It is a relatively good homestay in Yubeng Village.

The boss is very nice, the room is spacious, you can see the snow mountain🏔️. The rain is also quite heavy. The cured pork ribs and potato pot are delicious. Breakfast includes porridge, noodles, rice noodles, fried dough sticks, eggs, fried rice, cabbage, and soy milk.

Very good value for money. The boss is very enthusiastic. The key is that his food is also very good, not worse than the popular restaurant outside. The suggestion is that I hope to tell guests which time period is the best for hot water, so that they can choose the time to take a shower

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the owner took the initiative to bring me a cup of ginger tea. It was amazing, so nice, welcoming, clean, and the scenery was great. The hotel didn't have any smell, because the cows, horses, and mules in Yubeng Village walk around by themselves, and the ground is very dirty. You can smell the bad smell in many homestays, but this hotel doesn't have it. It's worth recommending. I stayed in a better hotel, and there were no other expenses. I lay on the bed and watched the sunrise on the Golden Mountain. It was amazing. 👍I recommend this hotel. The scenery on Yubeng is superb, and it is also convenient to climb the ice lake.

The room has a view of the snow-capped mountains and a terrace. There is a bonfire at night. The owner is very friendly and the price is good in the village.
