Soleil Boutique Hotel Reviews

The hotel was located in a busy area. They opened the door and offered me a welcome drink before I entered. They only spoke Vietnamese and French, so I used a translator. They also spoke a little English. The fireworks were going off, so I mentioned I wanted to go see them, and they explained that there was a place up high where you could see them. The room was spacious with a king-size bed. Amenities were provided. I wasn't sure which body towels were available. Apparently the large public bath costs extra. The inside of the hotel was luxurious and clean. Coffee, tea, and water were free, but beer, juice, and snacks were charged separately. I was told to wait and they would check at checkout, so I had to pay for them, since I had them. Breakfast was from around 6:00 to just before 10:00, I think. They had both Vietnamese and Western food, and I was able to enjoy freshly made pho. It was a buffet, and explanations were given in Vietnamese. When there was too much food to carry, they carried it for me, and they even took away unused plates, which was very thoughtful. They had fruits and Vietnamese products, so I thought it would be better to eat there than to go shopping. The reception staff were very polite, asking each group how their meal was and whether they had slept well. The pool was on the 11th floor, up the 10th floor by stairs. We were told that we could either change into our swimsuits in our room and put on a bathrobe to enter the pool, or we could change in the separate toilet and shower room. The pool seems to be open from 7am. There was no one at the cocktail bar, so I asked the cleaning staff to call one, but they didn't come for a while, so I think it would be more efficient to go downstairs before using the pool and ask them to make one. They also kept our luggage after we checked out, so we were able to go back and enjoy some more sightseeing. They asked if we wanted to reduce our luggage, and helped us organize it. They also offered one-way taxi calling, so we used one on the way back. A Vietnamese person told us that it was a little more expensive than calling one ourselves. However, since the fare was fixed, I was relieved to be able to pay in advance. The elevator was the type where you swipe your card after getting in and press the number for your floor.
