Hotel Bellevue

"On our short trip we stopped here. The hotel is a little "plus" but should and must so! Our room was renovated, small but completely enough for one night. The only thing that was the tops on the bed was plastic, which gave me the feeling of sleeping on a hot shed. But I don't want to deduct a point for that, because others probably don't disturb. The staff is very hearty, the service TOP, whether at dinner or breakfast. The portion at dinner was (too) large, unfortunately not managed. Breakfast is rather normal. If we hadn't booked it, we wouldn't know where we should have gone. The quiet and the view of Lüneburger Land compensates for everything! Our recommendation for this 60/70er-Jahre-Hotel is there!"

Hotel Waldhof auf Herrenland

"Waldhof auf Herrenland was one of the highlights of our trip. The beautiful garden, towering trees, birdsong, the gentle sound of the fountain and a simple wooden swing hanging from one of the old trees created an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. We especially enjoyed afternoon tea on the terrace. Our room struck the perfect balance between comfort and understated luxury, with wonderfully soft pillows and duvets and thoughtful details throughout. The whole property had a warm, authentic atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. The breakfast was exceptional, with a generous buffet - and our children loved making their own waffles. Everyone we met was genuinely kind and welcoming. A place to slow down, relax and simply enjoy the surroundings. We would love to come back."
