"Overall, it was pretty good. There was a good range of activities, and we saw quite a few small animals in the mountain area. The two-bedroom unit was ideal for our family. Breakfast was also good. My only minor quibbles would be that some of the furniture felt a bit dated. It would have been even better if the TV was a smart TV (like Xiaomi) with access to TV series, and a night light was missing. Otherwise, no major complaints. Although the complimentary perks largely covered what was offered, my 65-year-old parents, despite being quite active, found many activities unsuitable and might have gotten a little bored."

"Pros: The hotel's setting is lovely, and the service is excellent.
Cons: Staff seemed inexperienced, and there were too few people handling check-ins, possibly due to consistently low occupancy. The hotel itself isn't particularly interesting, but there are many activities and excursions available; the ginseng digging was a good experience. The rafting trip was too long and felt too primitive and desolate. You absolutely need a car to stay here."

"The room was good and the bed was massive, but the air conditioning wasn't very powerful. Fortunately, Changbai Mountain gets cool at night, so opening the balcony door allowed for a comfortable sleep. The illuminated lawn (which serves as a ski slope in winter) was a great spot for an evening jog; it was truly refreshing.
Pros: A wide range of activities, well-rounded facilities, and an excellent hotel location (though its proximity to the commercial street meant it could be a bit noisy). The breakfast spread was generous.
Cons: The air conditioning wasn't cooling adequately, the swimming pool only opened at 1 PM, and the Hanla Mountain Hot Springs were extremely overcrowded."

The housekeeping service was also impeccable! A thoroughly enjoyable experience."

"Facilities: A trip to Changbai Mountain is primarily for Tianchi Lake, and whether you get to see it often comes down to luck. The great thing about Jin Hua is its excellent facilities, including a swimming pool, arcade games, and a mahjong room. This means even on a rainy day, you won't be bored or stuck with nothing to do.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was up to par.
Environment: The hotel is located right next to the ski resort, which in summer transforms into lush green meadows. It's essentially the closest hotel to all the recreational facilities within the park.
Service: Excellent. Our dedicated service staff, Jason Sui, proactively contacted us via phone and WeChat even before our arrival. She promptly responded to all our inquiries regarding park services and updates on Tianchi Lake's opening status. Thanks to her helpful updates and good wishes, we managed to witness the stunning Tianchi Lake, even after it had been closed for three consecutive days."

"As a solo traveler just passing through to see Tianchi Lake, I wasn't too picky about accommodation. Holiday Inn Express was quite polite; they even called a day ahead to confirm my preferences. I just mentioned I'd like a room with a decent view, and they promised to arrange a mountain view room for me. However, during check-in, they seemed to use someone else's phone number. And upon reaching the room, it turned out to be a 'non-typical' mountain view – literally just a dirt slope right outside the window. I could glance over and see that the rooms next door likely had what I'd consider a proper mountain view. Honestly, that pre-arrival call felt utterly pointless. The room itself was typical Holiday Inn Express business-traveler style. While expected, I genuinely couldn't give it a good review. While Wanda's benefits should have been accessible, my enthusiasm quickly waned when asking the front desk about the shuttle bus – the only answer was consistently 'wait on the main road.' For those willing to do their own research, this place might offer good value for money. But for a lazy weekend warrior like me, a resort like Huamei, which provides all the necessary information upfront, is far more suitable."

"Our room was exceptionally spacious – a true suite. The living room even had a sofa bed, and the bedroom boasted a huge 2.4m bed. With two bathrooms and two balconies, it was incredibly convenient for drying clothes and felt wonderfully spacious and comfortable, especially for a family with children. The room service was flawless, and every single staff member was incredibly patient, attentive, and friendly.
The hotel's environment was truly beautiful; every casual photo we took looked like a picture from a comic book. The shuttle service was also excellent, with two distinct routes. One route covered all the main activity areas like the children's playground, archery and shooting, jungle trekking, go-karts, and the glass skywalk. The other route took us to Meijing Pavilion, which offered breathtaking panoramic views of Changbai Mountain.
The hotel offered a truly extensive range of complimentary activities and amenities. We spent four full days there and barely had to pay for anything extra. From the moment we woke up, our days were packed with fun: mountain biking, trampolining, the children's playground, archery and shooting, paragliding, and even 'Dah Tie Hua' (molten iron fireworks). In the evenings, we relaxed in the hot springs. Although the dining choices weren't super extensive, every restaurant we tried served delicious food.
Finally, a huge thank you to Manager Coco. She was incredibly attentive to every detail and always responsive, immediately helping us book and arrange whatever we needed. Our sincerest gratitude! We definitely plan to come back next year (the evenings were around 17°C, wonderfully cool!)."

"This hotel is really a surprise! I would like to especially praise Miss Zhang Huixin at the front desk, who arranged everything for me very well!
The lady not only patiently and meticulously introduced the hotel's facilities and surrounding attractions to me, but also coordinated and arranged my itinerary in a timely manner. The hotel's car pick-up and drop-off service is also very good. Miss Zhang Huixin will communicate and coordinate in time. One night, it was very late, and she also arranged for a master to come over. It was really warm, especially when I was traveling alone, giving me a full sense of security! "The MGallery by Sofitel I chose for this trip truly exceeded my expectations. From arrival to check-out, I felt completely at ease. The hotel is nestled on a hillside in a gorgeous resort, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking.
Lisa and Allen, our host, greeted us upon check-in. Allen, in particular, explained the hotel's various benefits while I waited for my room to be checked in. He also went above and beyond to help me with several additional requests.
We stayed in a room with a Changbai Mountain view, which was spacious and even had a good-sized balcony. The outdoor pool on the first floor was a pleasant surprise; the water temperature was just right, and there were both a hot tub and an infinity pool. It was also quite empty when we visited, which was fantastic.
The only downside to the resort is that you can't order takeout...you can only eat out or at Man Restaurant on the second floor. The restaurant manager was also incredibly friendly on October 6, 7, and 8!"

GGuest UserThe Yushe B&B is very good, the environment is good, the boss is good, the front desk sister is the best, the heart is kind, the service is warm, there is a feeling of being at home 🥰 If you choose to play the west slope of Changbai Mountain, it is undoubtedly the best choice, especially suitable for friends gathering and traveling. The form, the boss is very careful to operate the small courtyard, The melons and fruits and vegetables in the breakfast are taken care of by the boss himself for the guests to taste. The price is also very real. It is very convenient to pick up and drop off the car.
Due to the weather, Changbai Mountain Scenic Area was closed for three days, which caused me to finally grab the tickets to be invalidated. I couldn’t go to the south slope and the west slope. Fortunately, I also booked the north slope for the next day, but that person was so many. I went to a Tianchi attraction, and a family of three spent more than 800 tickets. It took more than 6 hours, and the high-speed rail did not catch up with 😂.
But fortunately, across thousands of mountains and rivers, after various conditions, finally let us see the beauty of Tianchi for the first time, this is also very worthwhile, leave some regrets for us to come again next time!

BBluesTeaI didn't book three consecutive days, so I had to buy them separately. The room is very big, and a family of four can sleep on one kang. The hotel provides airport transfers, and cars can be sent at any time to go anywhere in the resort. I skied for three days. The children knew how to roller skate before, so I didn't hire a coach and went directly to the snow track. On the first day, I skied four laps on the beginner's track, 9 laps on the second day, and on the third day, I went to the intermediate track and skied 23 laps. I was exhausted. I skied for more than 4-6 hours every day. I went to the hot springs at night, and I didn't expect it to be better than the blissful hot springs. I just didn't play the rime drifting that was given, because the children were too tired to get up from skiing. I also gave two little tigers before leaving. I saw Tianchi this time, and next time I come here for pure skiing, it should be a lot easier. By the way, the breakfast is rich, and you can ski vigorously only if you eat well every day, especially the rice noodles are delicious. The iron pot stew at Yuanxiang Restaurant next to the hotel is also good, which is more convenient and cost-effective than the commercial street in the resort. The children passed by the snow field and snow lake on the way back to the hotel from the restaurant, and they had a lot of fun.

SSLYVIAGGFacilities: The rooms are all in single-family villas and are well-equipped. The bathtub is large, and the bathroom has a double mirror, which is very convenient. The wood floors are perfect for those with rhinitis. The hotel is well-equipped and conveniently located. The recreational facilities within the Wanda Resort are fantastic.
Cleanliness: Excellent, very clean.
Environment: I loved the hotel's antique-style atmosphere. It's located within the Wanda Commercial Street. From the back door of the hotel lobby, you can reach the commercial street in less than ten minutes, and the scenery along the way is beautiful.
Service: The lobby, restaurant, and room service were all excellent. On my first day, the staff were very attentive, proactively visiting my room to ask if I needed any help and providing ice. The restaurant service was very responsive. The lobby provided a thorough explanation of hotel rights and the service was attentive. I especially want to commend Joy for her thoughtfulness and consideration.
Thank you to Park Hyatt for a special midsummer night. The iron flower and fireworks display were beautiful, a fusion of tradition and modernity.

ZZhangzhangcaicaiFacilities: While the facilities are a bit dated, you can still tell they were originally fitted out to a high standard, maintaining a certain level of quality. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable.
Location: The location is excellent, very close to all the attractions and dining/shopping spots within the resort, so there's no need to rent a car.
Cleanliness: Cleanliness was very good. Toiletries were replenished promptly, and the unlimited supply of bottled Changbaishan spring water was genuinely delicious.
Overall Experience & Value: This hotel is one of the more affordable options within the Wanda Resort. I was a bit hesitant when booking, but it truly exceeded my expectations. The biggest highlight is the hotel's private hot spring. It's incredibly convenient to enjoy, and I learned that all other hotels in the resort used to send their guests here for hot spring access. Seeing other guests lugging their bags to the hot springs while I could simply stroll downstairs in my bathrobe gave me a real sense of privilege.

WWeixiaodeyangziaiyangguiThe inn is located about one kilometer away from the Xipo Visitor Center. The area is relatively desolate and is not recommended for one person. The room is a one-bedroom, one-living room, one-bathroom structure with two single beds, European design style, complete facilities, and a lot of fitness equipment on the first floor. It is clean and tidy. Breakfast includes milk, eggs, steamed buns, cold dishes, corn and sweet potatoes, etc. It is simple and nutritious. For traveling to Xipo, the price-performance ratio is not bad.
The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the Internet speed in the room is very slow, almost equivalent to no Internet, and the TV can't be watched at all.

Don’t miss a dinner with wood-fired iron pot stew. Meat really tendered and smells good.
Kids really enjoyed as they can play snow right at the door, plus ice fishing in the tent where we catch 10 rainbow trouts in half an hour then the host cook it right away for a real fresh grilled fish, amazing!
Only regret is that we should have stayed longer than 1 night here, highly recommend!!

It is close to the town, and I also saw the traditional market, and truly experienced the simple folk customs of Changbai Mountain and the very down-to-earth ”Baishan” local customs and feelings. The waiter has a good attitude and can sympathize with the difficulties of the guests. In the cold weather, he will delay check-out for one and a half hours to take care of the urgent needs of the customers. The breakfast is a bit average, similar to a few years ago.
