"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we bring our children next time. While it's not the cheapest option, you'd be hard-pressed to find a room this spacious for the same price in Tokyo!
It's just about a ten-minute walk from Kamakura Station, and conveniently located right across the street from Komachi Dori. The toilet and shower are separate, and they thoughtfully provided sleep masks and bath amenities. The sofa area was also very spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep! The entire hotel features a minimalist Japanese design, and you're greeted by a pleasant aroma the moment you step in. On the ground floor, there's a Muji store and a restaurant, which is incredibly convenient! Plus, they offer free coffee, perfect for starting your day energized!"
"The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. They were always willing to help and even stored our luggage for us until the evening! The location is incredibly convenient, just a five-minute walk to Ofuna Station, which makes it incredibly easy to travel to both Kamakura and central Tokyo. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary coffee and ice machine. The local residents were also very friendly, and we felt completely safe walking to the convenience store at night. Highly recommend!"
"The hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk away from Kamakura station. The room is small but cozy and quiet. I had very nice rest during my stay there (kudos to the bath).
Note that if you reach early, they do charge by hour for early check in which I think it’s a Japanese standard."
"It was very hard to find the hotel, the maps send us to the back part because the hotel building is in the end of the lot (when you enter there is a parking lot before the build itself) so I had to walk around the block to find it while my husband waited at the car with my sleeping kid. When we arrived the staff said we could not park in that parking lot and we had to move to a partners parking close by. We only stay there for 1 night and everything else was very good."
"The location is quite convenient, right by Shichirigahama Beach (just across the road from the sea). Upon exiting the station, walk along the coast for about 5 minutes. You'll then see the beautiful ocean view depicted in Photo 1. Take the underpass on the left, proceed past the spot in Photo 2, enter the area shown in Photo 3, and then follow the arrows in Photo 4 to take the elevator up to the hotel lobby. Once you get familiar with the route, it's very easy to navigate. The hotel does offer a shuttle bus, but the schedule isn't frequent, so it's advisable to check their official website.
The room size is quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. However, it seems all triple rooms are on the third floor (where the front desk is also located; the fourth floor offers better views).
Breakfast was quite substantial for a Japanese hotel. It was my first time having curry beef rice so early in the morning.
The service was satisfactory; the staff displayed professional courtesy."
"It features a lovely Japanese style and is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was generous. It's super convenient to the subway station, just a 3-minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby too! The place is very quiet, making it ideal for a family vacation 🏖️."
"The Kamakura Poster B&B was created by a Japanese living overseas. It is 100 meters away from the beach bath, suitable for surfers and travelers who like the beach. The boss is very good and called me to check in early. The facilities are first-class, especially the bathing facilities are really great. High-quality homestay. It’s a bit far from Kamakura University, and it takes half an hour to walk along the coastline. Suitable for people on beach vacations"

"Although the sparrow is small, it has all the internal organs and the facilities are relatively complete. The location of the hotel is good, very close to the bus station, and it is very convenient to go to the attractions. It is suitable for 2 people and preschool children to live. 3 people can't even open the box. Choose carefully. The reliability of the facilities needs to be improved. Our room door lock is not very good. It is waiting for the staff to help open it at 9:00 in the morning, which is a bit of a delay."
"The location of the hotel is good. It's not far from Eno Tram Station in one block, but it's a little bit away from JR Kamakura Station. I live in a Japanese-style Kiri room on the second floor. It is very nice and very clean. Even if there is a bed for three people, there is still a lot of space, and the bathroom is well designed, separated from dry and wet, complete disinfection tools, and bathroom The equipment is excellent, and it will not bring the water droplets on the body into the room after the shower! Playing on the floor may be harder than normal Simmons, but because of the relatively quiet location, I still sleep well. At night, Kamakura is relatively quiet and does not have the rich nightlife of Tokyo. In addition to drinking in an izakaya, you can also watch the stars and enjoy the sea breeze on the hotel terrace.
The breakfast is delicious and there are many choices. All the soups and salads are homemade. They are fresh and delicious. The amount is not large but it fills the stomach."

Great
AAnonymous UserThis Sotetsu hotel is right outside Ofuna Station and very close to the Grand Ship shopping center, which houses a Life supermarket, making shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel's linen was very clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a Ueshima Coffee set meal; the grilled toast was delicious, though the coffee was just okay. From Ofuna Station, it's only a little over ten minutes by monorail to Enoshima. There's a Bookoff nearby, perfect for picking up collectibles, and right next to it is Ito-Yokado. You'll also find plenty of dining options in every direction around the hotel. Overall, if you're visiting Kamakura, staying in Ofuna is a really smart choice.
GGuest UserA 10-minute walk from the subway station, with various restaurants conveniently located nearby.
This is an excellent building that makes effective use of its steel frame structure and features superb landscape design. It would be a particularly meaningful stay for architects.
The breakfast area is designed like a charming cafe, making everything served there seem delicious.
I spent my time reading and gazing at the rainy courtyard until check-out.
I was very pleased by the kindness of the female staff member who spoke Korean.
While both the room's size and comfort were excellent, there was no charger provided, and I hope the quality of the toothbrushes can be improved.
One morning, despite the rain, I opened the window and enjoyed the delightful birdsong for a long while. It was a relief that the windows here were easy to open and close, unlike in many Japanese accommodations.
As I personally loved Kamakura City, if I ever return, I'd love to experience both a traditional guesthouse and spend my last night here to enjoy the morning before departing.
GGuest UserI really like the location that Yuigahama is close. It's just the right size to spend alone, and the amenities are fashionable and substantial. It's nice to be able to drink coffee on the water server. Unfortunately, the bathtub and the washroom are not separate, and when I come to such a place, I still want to relax in the bath, and it is very very disappointing that the bathtub cannot be filled with hot water. I wish I had a public bath nearby. After that, towels and bed sheets were a little damp. As with us, when drying with a drum dryer, it seems to have been dry at that time, but it is not dry enough, and I think it is better to extend the drying time a little more.
FFeinidouWe booked a triple room, and we were pleasantly surprised the moment we opened the door. There were three single beds! Free hot spring bathing, free light meals, free bar, and set breakfast. The pancakes made by the restaurant chef in front of us were delicious 😋. You can choose the set meal, appetizers, soups, drinks, staple food, desserts, etc., all of which are delicious. The service is also very good. I must give it a five-star rating 👍
MMeTheTravelerEnjoyed this hostel a lot! A had a separate room, stayed only for one night to explore Kamakura. I had everything needed in the room, the staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. It’s 10 minutes from the station, 20 minutes from the bay. The price is perfect for such location, I would choose this hostel again if I come to Kamakura.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location. Both Kamakura High School Mae and Enoshima are within easy walking distance, and it's also very close to the Enoden train station. If you're looking for an authentic Japanese tatami-style accommodation experience, this hotel definitely won't disappoint. The only minor drawback is that you might have to wait for the shared bathroom during peak bathing hours in the evening, unless you shower very early or very late. Koshigoe Shrine, located a short distance from the hotel, is very quiet and offers lovely views. Moreover, the hotel owner is incredibly hospitable, and I'd like to express my sincere thanks to her once again.
Ssnoopy860430The boss is very nice. If you have breakfast with more than two people, you can listen to the boss's English explanation and communicate with the boss. The boss is a warrior, so I was shocked when I saw him. I thought he was watching the Magic Saint Altar Fighter, but he didn't watch it. It is recommended for males to travel alone. It is not recommended for couples to live together!
XXiaowangjintianchuqulvyoulemaThe location is very convenient. You can walk to the cherry blossom avenue on the way to Hachimangu Shrine. The facilities in the room are very complete. There is a charger provided. The charger I brought with me was broken and I was worried about how to charge it. In addition, it is rare to see Japanese hotels provide bottled water, which is very touching. There is also a self-service ice machine in the hotel. It is very refreshing to buy some drinks and drink them cold. In addition, the check-in is a bit inconvenient. When you walk to the self-service check-in machine, you have to wait for Ctrip to contact the hotel to get the order number... This may also be a problem of the booking agent. I hope it can be improved.
YYinchanchanchanIt is very close to the station and Hasedera Temple. But it feels like the only advantage. The dormitory has an iron bed without even a bed curtain. Not only is it very noisy, but the mattress is also very thin. It feels like you are sleeping directly on the iron frame, and you feel very uncomfortable when you wake up. I have to wait until all my roommates come back before I can turn off the lights and go to bed. Unfortunately, the last person to come back last night didn’t even turn off the lights, which disturbed my sleep. The toilet was not very clean and had moths. This is probably the worst youth hostel experience. I feel like the business owner doesn't run the business with any care. Most services require additional charges, such as toothbrushes, towels, slippers and luggage storage.
GGuest UserIt's really close to the station and there's a convenience store nearby.
But the bathroom space is really a bit too small, and there are no shelves to store things, which is not very convenient.
In addition, the hair dryer is also broken and cannot blow hot air out😥
