"The hotel allowed early check-in which is really impressive. I googled that this hotel was founded in 2024. This explained why the facilities and decoration were good.
What I requested during my booking online were all fulfilled. A big thank you to Harry’s Home!
The room is spacious and comfy. Having the toilet and bathroom separated is a very good idea. There are a lot of storage space.
Hotel location is very good too. Just five minutes of walk then you will reach the train station and bus terminus. Three minutes walk then you will be in a more with shops and supermarket.
The hotel staff members are all very nice and helpful."
"We stayed for a few nights to experience Salzburg, very affordable and the rom was amazing for that price! The location, while out of the old city, was great with public transport very quick into the city, and the hotel being in a quieter area was nice."
"Location is close to the train station just within 5 minutes walking distant. There is a daily open supermarket. That's perfect.
The room looked claen but I was bitten by something to be suspected as bed bugs at night.
We bought Salzburg card at reception at rate lower than websites.
However staff is not very helpful. They did not tell us that you can get a free Guest Mobility Ticket during our stay. You need to ask. Also, we tried to scan QR code in the room to request room cleaning service but it requested us to sign in the apps. I asked the staff I failed to sign up the apps and the staff just asked me to go to the reception again in the next morning to request the cleaning and she was not willing to promote their company's apps.
Also, during our stay, seems like there were school activities and many kids stayed there. They played and layed on the corridor outside our room door at night even after 9 p.m. The kids were polite and let us way go inside but the door doesn't seem to be very well soundproofed. We can still heard their voice."
"Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our 12-day trip to France, Switzerland, Austria, and the Czech Republic, this was by far the best! The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were brand new, and it had a great view. The temperature was perfect, and most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent! It all started with the enthusiastic and helpful young lady at the front desk. She even shared the same birthday as me – I wish her all the best! If I ever get the chance, I'll definitely come back to this hotel!"
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the center of Vienna. The location was perfect, with many attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast offered a great selection of fresh food, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salzburg and would be happy to stay here again."
Off the A1 Autobahn, were within 15 minutes of Hohensalzburg Fortress, Hellbrunn palace, and city center attractions. Getreidegasse, Mozart's Birthplace, and Palace Mirabell are less than five kilometers away. Some of our rooms feature mountain views, and we offer a fitness center and breakfast on our outdoor terrace.
"Had a very wonderful stay at Austria Trend Hotel Europa. The staff professionalism in handling my request on the room and also manage to deal with the issue regarding the Salzburg Guest Mobility Ticket on the day of arrival is a plus point before even my check-in.
Allow up to 12pm to check out also allow flexibility for me to do some last sightseeing of the City before leaving. Overall I am very satisfy with my stay and do not regret my selection of choosing this hotel."
"Convenient location, just beside a petrol station that has a convenient store. Bus stop just beside as well. Cons: rude bartender and dirty towel (only realized there was some brown stains after using it during the night. Lazy to complain and ask for replacement since we are only staying for a night, so subsequently I used the hand towel instead.)"
"The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are great and it's very clean. It's really close to the train station and not far from the main attractions and the old town either. Thanks to the double-glazed windows, it's super quiet at night. Upon check-in, you get complimentary chocolates and a bottle of water; anything extra has to be purchased. There's a free sauna and gym upstairs. It's not super luxurious, but it's cozy and comfortable. The front desk staff are very welcoming, and the hotel emails you a free Salzburg transport card, which allows you to use all local public transport for free. There's also a bakery nearby with excellent bread and cakes."
"It's not far from the train station and very close to the bus stop, making it convenient to take the bus. The shower room is a bit small, but everything else is quite good."

Great
GGuest UserThe room is a bit packed as the bed is super big. Having said that, the room is nicely designed and decorated. Free mini-bar with daily refill is rarely found in hotels in Europe.
The buffet breakfast is absolutely the highlight. The omelette is crispy outside and molten inside, preserving the freshness and original flavours of all ingredients. Must try!
All hotel staffs are polite and helpful.
In terms of location, whether or not it is convenience, it depends. It is in the middle of Salzburg central station and the old town, going to either location is about 12 minutes walk. Salzburg down town is not big anyway. Everything is in walking distance.
GGuest UserThe hotel staff are very friendly and happy to answer any questions!
The room has everything you need, feels cozy and makes for a comfortable stay.
Sometimes I can hear the sound of trains, but the scenery at the station is nice and the sound doesn’t affect my life too much.
Great location! It won’t be dangerous to walk around the area by yourself. You can walk to the station/Mirabell Palace Gardens. The hotel restaurant next to it seems to have good reviews and there are many people queuing. In addition, there are many restaurants to choose from nearby. There is also a shopping mall Kiesel, which has BILLA, BIPA and Subway, which is not bad!
AAnonymous UserWe had a very enjoyable stay at Arte Hotel Salzburg. The location is excellent—right next to the main train station, making it perfect if you’re arriving by train or planning day trips. The Old Town is a pleasant walk away, so it’s still easy to explore the city.
The real hidden gem is the Sky Bar. It offers breathtaking panoramic views over Salzburg, especially at sunset and in the evening. The cocktails were great, and breakfast is also served there, making it a fantastic way to start the day. I’d definitely recommend requesting a room on one of the higher floors to make the most of the views.
The only downside was the communication regarding the complimentary Salzburg public transport pass. We were told at check-in that the hotel would provide it, but despite asking three more times during our stay, we never received it. It was disappointing as we had planned to use it for getting around the city. I hope the hotel can improve this process for future guests.
Overall, it’s a modern, well-located hotel with spectacular views, and I’d happily stay here again.
GGuest UserI booked for three nights and when I checked in, the hotel staff initially couldn't find our reservation. After some confirmation, we were able to check in smoothly.
We were given a room on the second floor, but once inside, we found the mini-fridge was broken. So, I went downstairs and asked the front desk to switch our room. The new room was further inside. The fridge worked, but the air conditioning wasn't very cold. Luckily, it wasn't too hot at night, so it was fine.
I'd read reviews mentioning some guests had items stolen, so we didn't leave any valuables in the room and kept our suitcases locked.
However, when the towels were replaced daily, I'm not sure if it's because we didn't leave the floor mats on the ground or what, but they were always taken away and not replaced (it's also possible the hotel doesn't provide them). The plastic bottles I intended to return were also taken (but that's quite normal, so it's fine).
The area around the hotel does feel a bit desolate, possibly because it's behind a department store and next to a construction site. We could hear hammering from the construction site in the mornings. It's quite close to the train station and bus stops, but for the price we paid, I think it was significantly overpriced.
The hotel staff offered us free luggage storage (they mentioned guests normally have to use lockers). In the afternoons, there's iced water and small cookies available on the first floor.
GGuest UserThe breakfast is good, the location is also very good, close to the train station. The front desk and breakfast are opposite the room. There is also a parking lot. There is no car. I don't know how the parking lot is charged.
GGuest UserI emailed the hotel in advance to ask if they could help me apply for the Salzburg Guest Mobility Ticket, and they replied very promptly. This meant I could take the tram from the train station directly to the hotel, which was not only convenient but also saved me a lot of effort, even though it probably wasn't a long walk anyway. Tram lines 2, 12, and 21 are nearby, making it super easy to get around by tram. The station had a timetable, and the trams were always on time.
The room didn't have a coffee maker, but there was a mini kettle.
The bed was made of two twin mattresses pushed together, so even if you're alone, you can only really sleep on one side due to the gap in the middle. The duvets were also twin-sized, just over a meter wide, so someone larger might find them a bit small.
TTanxingren-yanguangyuThe location was fantastic! It's just a 15-minute bus ride from the city center, and public transport is super convenient. Right next to the hotel, there's a restaurant, a supermarket, and even a gym. The hotel room itself was very clean and tidy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. There seems to be a police station downstairs, with officers frequently changing shifts, which made me feel very safe.
RRachelle YWe chose Das Edlinger because its price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in central Salzburg, and overall it was a good choice for our family of four.
The room was spacious enough for all of us and provided a comfortable stay. The bed was a bit too soft for our liking, but it was still acceptable. The toilet and shower are separated, which is convenient, although both spaces are on the smaller side.
The hotel is located a little farther from the city center, but there is a Bus 1 stop right in front of the hotel that takes you directly into the center. However, the bus frequency on weekends is not great, with only one bus per hour at times, so it’s important to keep an eye on the schedule. Otherwise, you may end up wasting valuable sightseeing time waiting for transportation.
A special mention goes to Fahad at the reception. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We had some unpleasant encounters with a few people in Salzburg and didn’t leave with the best impression of the city, but Fahad’s kindness and professionalism helped offset some of those negative experiences and made our stay much more enjoyable.
PPCKuoThe hotel is quite a bit away from the old city center but as guests, we get free public transport so make sure you ask the hotel for the Guest Mobility Ticket. The hotel is clean and has everything that one would need on a vacation. There are several supermarkets nearby.
YYAPPUThe staff member who handled check-in today was kind, polite, and attentive. She explained everything clearly and arranged a new room for me, is really better than previous 3nights I stayed.
