"POS: very central location 50 mtr from casino and beach; historical building with old charm; quite big but with a family atmosphere; (my) room recently renovated; pleasant bar area; quiet; considering location reasonably priced.
NEG: elavator super slow, tiny and shaky at times (7 floors); bathroom good but shower itself clumsy; staff could use some extra training ＞ in 4 days' stay there was always something not done or missing, and worst of all in spite of plenty of mgmt messages to save energy, in 2/4 days we came back late night and aircon had been switched on (by staff, not us), on a day it was barely 20 degrees, meaning complete waste of energy, and cost."

Very clean room. Settled 3 hours earlier without extra payment. Good-looking staff.
The opposite of the room where I lived, on the opposite side of the street is a local branch of red lights. It was fun to see men of all the masts visiting them."

"Service: Very dependent on who's at the front desk. The young lady is fantastic!
When we wanted to book an extra night, no discount was considered in the offer. Quite the opposite; the upgrade we received at check-in was fully charged for if we wanted to extend our stay. Booking online would have been €30 cheaper than extending our stay at the front desk! Problems with the air conditioning: it doesn't work. The room quickly became very warm. Although we reported it several times, it wasn't resolved. Otherwise, the location was perfect!"

SSokrySehr schönes Hotel aus den 30iger-Jahren. Freundliches, lösungsorientiertes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Top Lage. Schöne grosse Zimmer. Da Alter des Hotels hat seine Tücken. Zum Teil kann man die schön grossen Fenster nicht öffnen und es ist sehr ringhörig. Wir waren zwei Nächte da und konnten wegen einer grossen Gruppe junger Sportler (es fand ein Fussball-Turnier statt), welche durchgehend Party im Zimmer machten, sehr schlecht schlafen. Das Hotelmanagement hat sich dafür bei uns in aller Form entschuldigt und uns erklärt, dass sie trotz Security-Einsatz die Situation nicht besser in den Griff bekommen konnten. Fazit! Das Hotel empfehlen wir sehr gerne.

The overall layout of the room is good, the only fly in the ointment is that the taste of the room decoration is a bit concentrated. In addition, the hotel is self-service and needs to check in by yourself. Check out. Although there is no safe, the front desk is to be handsome, so it is still very safe.

Rooms are not big if you travel with big suitcases, but manageble.
