"The hotel is conveniently located right next to the train station and subway exit. The rooms are clean with good soundproofing, and the bedding is comfortable. The hotel's breakfast buffet is decent, and the freshly cooked rice noodles are very authentic. Despite being by the train station, the double-glazed windows provide excellent sound insulation, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. It's just a few subway stops from Wuyi Square, making sightseeing hassle-free. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time."
"Pros:
1. **Excellent Location:** Super close to Changsha Railway Station, just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. There's a bus stop right across the street, and both the high-speed rail station and subway station are nearby. Perfect for short-term travelers.
2. **Great Service:** The front desk lady was very welcoming, and the aunties who clean and prepare breakfast were also super warm and lovely. The hygiene was top-notch, and the 'little butler' (concierge/guest relations) was also very enthusiastic.
3. **Amenities:** They offer luggage storage, and there's complimentary sour plum juice in the lobby, which was quite tasty! The lobby and the fifth floor have public spaces with seating and books – a nice spot to relax and kill some time. The book selection was surprisingly good, definitely a highlight. The fifth floor also has self-service washing machines, exercise equipment, and a water dispenser.
4. **Value-for-Money Breakfast:** The breakfast was great value and you could eat your fill. They had congee, soy milk, fried rice, and fried noodles, and the aunties were quick to replenish anything that ran out.
Cons:
1. **Noise (A Double-Edged Sword):** Because of its convenient location near a main road, the soundproofing isn't the best. They do warn you about this at check-in and provide earplugs, which is thoughtful.
2. **Small Room Size:** The room was on the smaller side, but it had everything you needed. While the soundproofing wasn't great, it was tolerable.
Overall, for the price, it's really good value. Five stars!"
"The hotel is right near the train station, and conveniently located next to an entrance for Metro lines 2 and 3, making it easy to get anywhere, especially for those catching early morning trains. There are plenty of small restaurants nearby. The room was nice, clean, bright, and hygienic. The bed was very comfortable, and all the amenities were good. Soundproofing was just okay, but it's expected to be noisy near a train station. They offer laundry and a dryer, which is a nice touch. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful."
"The room facilities were complete, and the service was excellent. I had a great stay. My room was upgraded, and I was also able to get a late check-out. The hotel's location is great, close to the subway station. Line 2 goes directly to the city center, and right outside is the Changsha Railway Station with subway lines 2/3. You just cross an underpass to get to Changsha Railway Station, which is very convenient. The air conditioning in the room worked very well. There were disposable slippers and toilet seat covers. The bathroom space was also good. Overall, it offers great value for money and a very good experience. I would stay here again if I have the chance."
"This hotel is super close to Changsha Railway Station, which was really convenient since I arrived in Changsha late at night and could get some rest right away. The subway entrance is right outside the hotel, making getting around incredibly easy. It was also pretty quiet at night, which was a plus."
"An absolutely amazing stay that exceeded my expectations! The hotel is brand new with a modern, minimalist design – perfect for photos. What impressed me most was the cleanliness; the carpets and bedding were spotless, and the bath towels even came in disinfected packaging, which made me feel very secure. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm, leading to an excellent night's sleep. The gym facilities were also fully equipped and fantastic. From now on, whenever I visit this city, this will be the only hotel I stay at."
"The biggest takeaway from choosing this hotel is its incredibly convenient location, very close to Changsha Railway Station. It's an easy walk, even with luggage, without getting too tired. The room was spotless, the bedding comfortable, and check-in at the front desk was quick and friendly. Overall, the value for money is excellent, making it a perfect place to stay when visiting Changsha."
"The room wasn't huge, but it was quite clean and had everything I needed. When the hairdryer broke at night, it was handled quickly. The best part is how convenient it is; the front desk will tell you how to get to the train station. The only minor issue was that I requested a wake-up call for the morning, and no one called, probably due to a shift change. However, I had set my own alarm, so it wasn't a problem. Otherwise, everything was great. It's a good place to stay if you need to catch a train."
"My honest experience at Pinmanchen Hotel: The hotel is a standalone building with only 8 floors. The hotel entrance has a unique design, featuring two tall 'yingkesong' (welcoming pine) trees, which looked quite beautiful, especially since I checked in online. There's also a sculpture near the entrance that looks like both a horse and a dog; the staff told me it's a work by Master Luo Xiangke [proud emoji]. As I was traveling by car, the parking lot was quite spacious and an open-air type. Stepping into the lobby, the design is very tasteful, a pure Chinese style, with most of the renovation materials being solid wood. There's a subtle tea fragrance in the lobby. The front desk service was friendly and patient. We were visiting Changsha and had stayed at other Pinman-branded hotels before, and this one was consistently good. The room was clean and tidy, with full smart home control – just by calling 'Xiao Du,' you could operate the TV, air conditioning, lights, and more. I particularly want to mention that their toilet is smart, which is a nice touch. They have a gym and a laundry room. The self-service breakfast was rich and delicious. I especially want to highlight that their breakfast includes famous Changsha snacks like Tangyou Baba (sugar oil粑粑) and stinky tofu. A staff member, who I believe was a manager, particularly recommended their new white fungus and lotus seed soup to me; for someone my age, the sweetness was just right [thumbs up]. Honestly, for a room costing just over 200 yuan, the variety of breakfast options offered makes it extremely good value for money. The hotel is located near Gaogiao West Gate, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area. It's very close to popular spots like Yangfan Night Market and Wanjiali Plaza. My kids ate their way through Yangfan Night Market from start to finish [smiling emoji][smiling emoji]. This stay was an excellent experience, highly recommended."
"I've stayed here many times! My recent short stay in Changsha with friends was fantastic! The front desk staff are warm and patient, the price is very reasonable, and the hallway carpets really cut down on noise. The room was clean and odor-free, everything was new, the AC cooled down quickly, and there was a great variety of toiletries. The laundry room was convenient to use, and for extended stays, they clean the room daily. I'll definitely choose this place again when I'm back in Changsha."

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying here, and according to the driver, it's an older, established hotel, but the facilities seem to have been newly renovated. The service was excellent and very professional. I was traveling with my sister, and they specifically arranged our three rooms on the same floor, which was super convenient. The rooms themselves were perfectly arranged, clean, and tidy. The check-out process was quick, and we were even able to get a late check-out. I also really liked the photo-op activity in the lobby. Especially staff members #1 and #10, their service was incredibly nice!
GGuest UserOn a whim, I came to Changsha and chose the top-ranked hotel on Trip.com. The service was absolutely fantastic, I really don't understand how anyone could write a negative review. The staff were so warm and attentive. The breakfast and supper options were incredibly fresh, you can tell they put a lot of thought into it. We stayed for two nights and got to enjoy different dishes each day, which was a real treat. With two kids, we spent almost all our time at the hotel. Changsha was just too hot, so we could only go out in the evenings. Coming back to the hotel for supper after exploring was great, and it was really good value for money – they even prepared three servings for both breakfast and supper for us!
Suggestion: The owner should consider getting a shuttle bus. There's a bit of a distance between the metro station and the hotel, which would also make it easier for the concierge to help with luggage.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a unique charm and a strong sense of history. The service is exceptional, and the room facilities are brand new. They pay attention to all the details, like providing disposable toilet seat covers and bathtub liners for a relaxing soak. They even offer slippers and toiletries for children. There's a complimentary late-night congee and afternoon tea every day, and the breakfast sets are incredibly varied and delicious!
GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location is excellent, making it convenient for transportation and dining. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The bathroom was dry and odor-free, with a stable hot water supply. The overall environment was quiet, leading to a high quality of rest. It offers good value for money, and my stay was pleasant and satisfying. I will prioritize this hotel for future trips and highly recommend it to others.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a great location, convenient parking, and clean, tidy rooms with beautiful night views! The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the rice noodles were delicious 🤤 The receptionists were warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions 👍👍👍 The hotel is right next to the subway station (Yingwan Town Station), making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. It's only one stop away from Orange Isle and also very close to Yuelu Mountain Park. This time, I stopped by on my way back, so the itinerary was a bit rushed. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. 😊😊😊 The two night views are actually from my room window. I didn't take pictures of all the breakfast options, just my own 🤭🤭🤭
GGuest UserThe room was exceptionally clean, with soft and dry bedding. The bathroom came equipped with disposable towels and toiletries, and the smart toilet was very convenient to use. The guesthouse itself was quiet and peaceful, with excellent natural light and ventilation. It was fully furnished with all the necessary appliances, making daily life very easy. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, providing clear check-in instructions and prompt replies to any questions. The location is excellent, close to dining and shopping, with complete amenities nearby. The value for money far exceeded my expectations; it felt as comfortable as home. This will be my first choice for accommodation whenever I'm in the area again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone traveling.
GGuest UserBooked this hotel by chance, and it was pretty clean. The hot water came out fast and had good pressure, and the air conditioning was excellent. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, definitely worth trying – much better than the Zhou Ji noodles (my personal opinion), which were a complete mess. One minor issue: the toilet splashed water when you sat on it. On the bright side, the subway station is right on the -1 floor, making transportation very convenient.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent for exploring Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain, both directly accessible by subway. Downstairs, you'll find the bustling Wuyi business district, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The room's bedding was comfortable, and the night view of the Xiangjiang River was beautiful. I appreciated the smart room controls and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. The only minor issue was the slow elevators, but the hotel staff were quick to respond when I brought it up, which was understandable. Overall, everything else was great.
0007xiangxiangI brought my child to Changsha for this trip, and our overall experience at this hotel was perfect – I highly recommend it for families!
📍 Excellent Location: It's close to the subway station, within walking distance to Wuyi Square and Chaozong Street, making it super convenient to get to Yuelu Mountain, Orange Isle, and Hunan Provincial Museum. It really saves time and effort for sightseeing and exploring local eateries.
🧹 Impeccable Cleanliness and Attention to Detail: The room was spotless, the bathroom had no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and fluffy. The mattress had just the right firmness, making it incredibly refreshing to lie down and rest after a day of exploring. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, allowing for a quiet and full night's sleep even in the bustling city, ensuring my child's rest wasn't disturbed.
🙋 Thoughtful and Attentive Service: The front desk staff were warm and patient, handling check-in and check-out efficiently and quickly. They were also very kind to my child. Housekeeping was responsive and promptly addressed any requests.
🛏 Complete Facilities: The air conditioning, hot water, and bathroom facilities worked perfectly. The room was spacious and not cramped, with plenty of room for luggage. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Changsha!
GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room rates are very reasonable, and the place is clean. They even offer airport drop-off service, which is a huge convenience! On my previous visit, my flight was significantly delayed, and I couldn't confirm my exact arrival time. Yet, the owner kindly waited up for me until 3 AM! This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely be back!
