Hotel location is quite good, just at the old town square, go left for half a minute to go to the astronomical clock. This location is an advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage is that you can enjoy the lively and bustling of the old town square at any time. You can also go downstairs to sit in the square at night, which is particularly comfortable. The disadvantage is that you can't take the car to the entrance of the hotel, you can take the car to the edge of the old town square, and then walk in. At night, tourists are a bit fried, and the bells of the church next door will wake you up. The hotel room is quite big, but the bathroom is not very convenient to use, the wash basin is small, the bath is the bathtub, the shower is uncomfortable, and the water splashes everywhere. The cups for brushing the toiletries are a bit rudimentary, and the towels are old. The triple room we lived in was on the third floor. The elevator could go to the second floor. We had to climb half a floor with a large box. The stairs were a bit steep. Breakfast was an extra 10 euros per person. We went to eat it once. The restaurant was like an old castle. It was small but very comfortable. The breakfast was rich. When I left, I found a good location to play, walking less, and taxiing was convenient. There is a omega store in the square, waiting for the car is the most convenient. The staff at the front desk of the hotel is very polite and will greet warmly every time.

Breakfast is relatively simple, but it is basically enough. There are no sausages or meat. The center is two or three kilometers away, right? The service staff is more enthusiastic, there is a kitchen on each floor, and you can cook by yourself, which is good

I stayed at MeetMe23 in Prague and enjoyed the vibrant, modern vibe. The location made exploring effortless, and the staff felt genuinely welcoming. My room was clean and comfortable, though a bit simple. It’s not perfect, but for a fun, convenient city stay, it felt like a great choice overall.

Not far from Prague Square, there is a market downstairs, there are many stalls, you can buy some small gifts such as fruits, crafts, etc. Some shops can use euros Krona, it does not matter if you do n’t change, you can use a credit card to order tickets and shop very convenient. The hotel is renovated in an apartment building. There is no very conspicuous lobby. You have to ring the bell before you open the door. The elevator is very small after you go in. There are no obvious signs where to check in. The front desk is very welcoming. The translation software communicates with us, but asks if there are any delicious shops near her and will check and draw maps for us. The rooms are large and the facilities are a bit old. The bathroom was overwhelmed by me and I installed it again. ...

It was the first time in Prague, but I think the location is very good as the stay time becomes longer. There is a stop next to the tram that stops at night. There was a kebab shop around the hotel and even during the night.

I chose this hostel because of its great location. Every night, we played drinking games in the old friend's space at the hostel, and the hostel also planned things like sightseeing tours, which I thought were very interesting. The only thing that bothered me was that there was no elevator and I had to climb a lot of stairs 😅

Golden Prague Rooms is an excellent choice if you're looking for comfortable, clean accommodation close to the city center. Its most appealing feature is its location; you're literally just a few minutes' walk to the heart of the old town, cafes, restaurants, and markets, making getting around much easier without needing a car. The rooms are a good size for a boutique hotel, and the decor is simple and functional. Cleanliness was excellent, and the bed was remarkably comfortable. The reception staff were professional and efficient, and we didn't experience any delays during check-in or check-out. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast on-site, but there are plenty of options within easy walking distance. On the downside, street noise can be audible if your room has a view, especially on weekends. Also, the central air conditioning isn't very strong, so on hot days, you'll need to open the windows or use the fan in your room. Overall, the hotel is perfect for those seeking a prime location at a reasonable price compared to other hotels in the area. It's ideal for those who enjoy walking and exploring and don't require extensive hotel amenities. A very satisfying experience that I would definitely repeat.

The hotel is conveniently located about a ten-minute taxi ride from the castle. The interior design has a Soviet-era style, but it's clean and hygienic, which is what matters when you're traveling. The breakfast spread is excellent, offering a good variety, including local specialties. Getting around is easy too, with taxis and public buses readily available.

Amazing
PPengskyThe hotel room was very spacious. However, they assigned us a disabled-access room even though we hadn't requested a special room type. This meant the bathroom facilities were all quite low, which was a bit inconvenient. The service attitude was decent, but considering the price, it offered reasonable value for money. The breakfast was okay; nothing particularly special but clean. The overall environment and infrastructure were good, but the cleanliness definitely needs improvement.

GGuest UserI had a very pleasant experience during my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location is perfect—close to public transport and within walking distance to the city center, yet in a quiet area. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, it’s a great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Prague.

GGuest UserOn our wonderful 8-days-trip to Czech Republic we (couple, 50 years old, two children at age of 14/16) spent the last four days in Prague. When checking in at the hotel around 9 p.m. we noticed that we have got the wrong room (1 king-size bed and 1 sofa bed instead of (explicitly booked and already paid) room with 1 king-size bed and a separate room with 2 single beds), so we informed the reception desk. The stuff was very friendly and although not being able to offer us the correct room for the first night already, we were able to switch room early next morning and got free breakfast as compensation. The breakfast was very good and rich (bread, bread rolls, toast, scrambled and boiled eggs, classical cold cuts, grilled vegetables and sausages, fruit, yogurt, cake, coffee, hot chocolate, juices, cereals, etc.). Therefore we decided to choose the breakfast option also on our final day before check-out. BTW, the area, where breakfast was served (until 11 a.m.), belongs to ”Fat Cat Burgers & Craft Beer”, which made a nice impression and was well-visited past noon. The rooms and bath were clean and although the rooms and the inventory might need a little refreshment on the one hand, the old windows and carpet fit to the historic center, where the hotel is located on the other hand. The location itself was ideal for starting tours to the old town by foot and enjoying night life. Next tram stop was appr. a 7-minutes-walk away, next metro stop appr. 10 minutes away. The room with the king size bed contained a LED-TV and was orientated to pedestrian street, but although night life just happens a few feet away, the old windows (two windows in a row) filter much of the noise. The other room with the two single beds was very calm and located between the formerly mentioned room and the hallway. Its windows were orientated to hallway and could not be regularly opened, which made airing this room out a little bit difficult. Each apartment contains its own WLAN-router, which had to plug in on our own as noticed on arrival, but then we had perfect signal and fast internet access. A tip for those arriving by car: You cannot reach the hotel by car, because it is located in a pedestrian zone consisting of many pubs and bistros with outdoor seating. Finding a parking slot nearby is not easy, due to most part of the surrounding streets are reserved for residential parking only and you either have to pay the parking slot by app (virtual parking ticket machine only) or choose a slot in more distant streets where you can also buy a ticket at a physical parking ticket machine. Therefore I dropped my wife and children as near as possible to the hotel (2-minutes-walk) and parked our car in one of the suburban P+R-areas - I chose ”P+R Skalka II” with contains a camera system and costs 50 CZK for the first 24hours and then 10 CZK per hour, which is (in June 2025), which is very cheap compared to parking your car in one of the central car parks). Conclusion: A very nice place with friendly stuff and a good breakfast. If you do not mind walking a little bit with your luggage and if you like enjoying city/night life in Prague, this hotel is a very good option. I would always recommend this hotel for those who are a good walkers.

RrymahabibThe hotel is not bad, old but has its own charm, we actually liked the decor, the location is very good, the breakfast though is very average, nothing special. We had the worst chek-in experience in our life with Mr Nader, who was very rude, we have booked a superior double room and paid the full amount in advance, when we arrived he simply said he had no room available, and that he will move us to another hotel of theirs, and it was far from the location we chose to stay in for it's proximity to everything we wanted to visit, and that of course without even asking for our opinion. We said no and that it is unacceptable to move us to a hotel on the other side of prague, not in the same category, he even lied and said that it was also a five stars hotel but it was a 4 stars hotel. He was very unfriendly, extremely rude to us, he even insinuated that it was our fault because we had booked the room on the same day and he repeated it many times with a bad attitude. We did, but it was at least 8 hours earlier than our arrival, we even checked several times that the room was still available hours after our payment. He finally silently gave us a deluxe room with twin beds, without explaining anything, when we saw the room we told him that we are a couple on a romantic trip we want to stay in the same bed, he yelled at us saying that we insisted to stay in the hotel and not move to another one, and that the room he gave us is way better than the room we booked, which was a superior double room, we didn't really care about the room type more than we care that we got a double bed, but we finally accepted because we got no choice but to move to another hotel that night. They made the beds closer, but they kept moving away the whole night which was very weird and uncomfortable. He could've at least offered us free breakfast, but he instead made us pay for it, and told us if we want something we could go speak to the manager. It's never about money for us but the way he dealt with unsatisfied clients is the worst, and we work both in the tourism, in fact we are both managers! His colleagues the day after were more friendly and they moved us to a room with double bed with a great view, which we liked much more. A thing that we noticed is that the staff of this hotel are very unfriendly with no reason, they make you feel that you're bothering them just by walking by (the young blond girl in the reception, the breakfast staff, except for the young guy in the reception and the concierge, who was very nice welcoming and friendly and kept smiling the whole time. We would only recommend the hotel for its location and the artistic decor, but never for the service.

GGuest UserThe breakfast was good and the variety was able to satisfy different tastes. The location of the hotel is also close to a few hundred meters from the subway station. Only the hotel room facilities are relatively poor. The bed was small and there was a damp smell in the room. The 1st floor wifi signal is too bad, and it is not the same. The cell phone signal is also not good. The room was very poorly sounded, and at night I could hear the sound of snoring in the next room.

GGuest UserThis hotel's location is its strongest point - its a single tram ride to the Old town or the main train station. It does go down-hill from this point on. The weakest point of this hotel is the staff. The receptionist (fair hair, glasses, on duty afternoon 25/09/25 and morning 26/09/25) was positively rude, and it marred the whole experience of the stay in this hotel. When I enquired about the breakfast options (continental vs. cooked) the reply I got was: 'explain the difference'. When I asked about the tram number to the Old town's main square, the reply was ' you have to read the signs on the tram stop'. When I asked to put the suitcase in the storeroom, a very stern (if not aggressive): 'you bring me the key back immediately' was hurled at me... During the 24 hour stay, there wasn't a single person (reception/catering/housekeeping staff) who smiled and/or made you feel welcome. Similar feedbacks have been posted previously, and obviously nothing nothing has changed, so please be prepared for the similar treatment. The breakfast experience was awful. The photos are misleading, the drawing posters are no longer on the wall and the room feels cold and unwelcoming. At 9 AM finding a free table was a challenge, and I witnessed people sharing large tables put together, instead of single tables being provided. You get your drinks from one room and food from the other - in the meantime, someone else has taken your table. The plates provided were a joke, dessert plates of 10 cm in size, so as to make people get up and refill from buffet! Scramble egg tray (just about the only edible food) was empty at the peak time (9 AM). This situation could've been easily avoided with a bit of communication between the reception and the kitchen, in terms of guest numbers. WIFI was just about adequate. Overall, really unpleasant experience and they will not be getting my custom again. Advice: pay few Euros more and book elsewhere!

I got there by noon, but they let me in. it was OK, the curtain is not really doing his job, but for its price I find it very acceptable. I only saw one shower and two toilet to share for the entire floor, but surprisingly was never a queue, rather decent.
