Hotels near Mamoura Beach, Alexandria

The hotel is located in a fairly quiet part of the city, away from the highways and the droning traffic. There are two huge swimming pools with water temperatures of 27°C in March. It's a beautiful three-story building. The hotel is new; a palace is being completed. As I understand it, they'll be hosting events here. There are restaurants on the first and second floors. During Ramadan, both are open buffet style. There's plenty of food, but nothing particularly appealing. They serve omelets for breakfast. We stayed for a week, and all week I kept saying and showing that I wanted scrambled eggs, but the chef only made a tasteless omelet in a puddle of oil. Eventually, I gave up and stopped ordering it. The porridge is tasteless. We went there for dinner 2-3 times. The food was delicious a couple of times. The rest of the time, the only edible items were the shashlik and vegetables. The rooms are large and clean, everything is fine. The food, however, is not so great. The staff is polite.

There's a gate at the parking lot that leads to a school, which is a nice place for a walk.

The hotel is in a perfect location, very clean. The swimming pool is quite small, and it was quite cold during late may days (no pool heater) Most of the staff were amazing, especial shoutout to Ms. Menna (customer relation manager). I have one note only on a specific team member (on the reception desk) bad service and behaviour on check-in & checkout time. i believe if the hotel management went through my file at the hotel they will figure out the person i mean in this review!

I give it a perfect score! It's incredibly good value for money, only 60-something yuan including breakfast. There's a private bathroom and the beds are clean. The owner is from Guangdong and very chatty. On December 31st, we celebrated New Year's Eve in Alexandria. The owner made us authentic Chaoshan hot pot, though the cost of the ingredients was split evenly. The taste was absolutely authentic.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. When I arrived, I was told that my reservation had been “accidentally cancelled,” and I ended up waiting for over an hour just to get my room. After reading the Google reviews, it seems I’m not the only one, other guests had the same issue and were even sent to another lower-quality hotel. Although I eventually got the room I originally booked, they never informed me that valet parking costs 300 EGP, and I was only told about the charge during checkout. Charging 300 EGP for parking in Egypt is honestly ridiculous. Overall, the stay was frustrating and poorly managed. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

First time staying here. **Environment:** Pretty good! It's right next to a shopping mall and pedestrian street. The lobby is lush with greenery, and the hotel next door is also very nice. The downstairs restaurants are decent too. I tried a Thai place, and the noodles were sweet, with crushed peanuts and white sugar added – I barely ate anything and just paid and left. Definitely avoiding that next time! **Facilities:** What's odd is that the shower stall is half-open. Every time I shower, water splashes everywhere. I remember previous Hilton stays often had this, and even other Hiltons I've stayed at since have the same design! Another strange thing is that this hotel always has mirrors facing the bed!

Wonderful hotel in an amazing location. Old world charm with modern upgrades and amenities. Service is incredibly warm, sincere and attentive. The one highlight not to be missed is their rooftop restaurant with amazing panoramic view of the beach. Two great amenities to take advantage of - valet parking and daily happy hour with free snacks and drinks, including wine!

This is a Brassbell hotel. It's clean, pleasant, and in an excellent location, allowing you to walk to famous attractions, with the promenade right nearby. The hotel entrance is also on a side street. The room is small but functional, offering a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea from a small balcony. The bed is large, and the bedding is clean and new. The room had a kettle, cups with saucers, spoons, tea, coffee, creamer, and bottled water (only upon check-in, no replenishment). Instead of a closet, there's a rack with hangers. Hot water has good pressure and is consistent. The shower has body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. In the hotel lobby, there's a communal kitchen and a lovely, spacious lounge area. The staff is friendly, and you can store your luggage after checking out. The building where the hotel is located is old, with a beautiful elevator and staircase. There are many different cafes, restaurants, and shops near the hotel. As for drawbacks, I'd note the absence of slippers and a hairdryer, and there's no designated place to put or hang towels. Otherwise, everything was great.

We had a wonderful stay here. We stayed with them in Cairo before, and we chose to stay with them again in Alexandria. Both experiences were perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the place was very clean, and everything worked perfectly. The location is also great, and overall, the whole experience was excellent. I’m honestly trying to think of anything negative to mention, but there really isn’t anything. I truly enjoyed my stay, and this will definitely be my favorite place to stay in Alexandria, whether I’m traveling with friends, family, or even by myself.

The Gem in Alexandria! Brief: For anyone in doubt: this is the coolest hotel! Location: This pearl is situated right in the city center. It’s the best choice for visiting attractions. You can find many hotels outside the Medina, but that wouldn’t be the ”real” Alexandria. The Library of Alexandria, the Citadel, many churches, mosques, and fish restaurants are all very close to the hotel. 10/10 Food and Drinks: The breakfast is great. The menu varies by day (it seems to depend on the number of guests), offering either a buffet (smorgasbord) or set dishes. Either way, it’s delicious. Additionally, you’ll enjoy a spectacular view from the restaurant during breakfast and dinner. 10/10 Accommodation: This is a true early 20th-century hotel. It features a vintage lift, high ceilings, and beautiful wood paneling. I stayed in a room with a balcony and a partial sea view. Despite being near the highway, it was surprisingly quiet and calm. The bedding was comfortable, and the room temperature was perfect (even with +10°C at night and +18°C during the day outdoors). 10/10 Service: Very pleasant staff with a good command of English. The hotel team is truly eager to help with any request—whether it's finding a bank, a currency exchange, a bus station, or local attractions. 10/10 Cleanliness: Everything was spotless—the bathroom, balcony, and beds. Overall Impression: Book this hotel now and come back again! I fell completely in love with this place and Alexandria. European tourists might try to nitpick small disadvantages, but they are insignificant compared to the charm of this amazing hotel.
