"Great stay at the Knowsley. The staff were friendly and there is parking which is a bonus. The rooms were generally clean but the dining area could have been cleaner - some crockery needed re-cleaning. The fire alarm went off mid way through the night but was quickly dealt with. The breakfast was OK - a good selection of food but the ingredients were of low quality and quite greasy. I'd stay here again however but would go elsewhere for breakfast."

"Staff was excellent, check in out was a breeze. Free parking outside hotel. Petrol kiosk and supermarket nearby. Location was chosen because near-ish to Anfield, 10 minutes. Beside a main road with some road noise but did not affect sleep.  Room is standard Travelodge but unfortunately carpet stained and reeked of old animal pee. Had to open window most times. Otherwise space is adequate for a family of 4, heating and hot water functioning well. Kettle and tea/coffee available. Toilet is large with bathtub. Towels and shower gel provided."

"The staff couldn't do enough for us , so nice and friendly. Amelia went over and above to make our stay feel perfect. The food is really nice . The beds are perfect, really big and comfortable. Location was ideal for what we needed. Reception staff are very helpful. Overall I would definitely go back. We were 4 adults, 2 needing an accessible room."

"The host took the initiative to greet us at the door. He was warm and thoughtful, helped with luggage, and introduced the facilities in the room and how to use them. The room was spacious, bright, hygienic and clean, and the bed was very comfortable! The world map on the wall at the front desk is very special, showing the cities where the guests staying here are from!"

"Lovely hotel, ideal location. Rooms have everything you need, nice bathroom Bar was lovely, didn't eat in restaurant but saw some people eating and food looked nice. Very reasonable price for a room, would recommend staying here."

"The hotel was really lovely. Most of the time we were greeted with friendliness. It was very clean and tidy. We changed our room from a twin to a double and there were no issues with that. I was disappointed that the spa leisure facilities were closed as it was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Some of the decor is a bit dated but there are some lovely period features that enhance the hotels ambiance. A very good location for anyone arriving into Liverpool Lime Street."

"We wanted to see Anfield Stadium and enjoy being part of the local community. Hotel Anfield was the best choice we could have made. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the bar area really won us over. As LFC fans, it was a dream. For what we paid and what we got, the experience overall was superb. If you are a Liverpool fan going there for the first time, this is where I recommend you stay."
