"Ibis Nottingham Centre boasts a superb location, just a short walk from the castle and shopping centres. The rooms, though small, are clean and quiet with comfortable bedding. The breakfast selection is excellent, and the front desk staff are warm and efficient. It offers exceptional value for money – highly recommended!"
"We stayed here on 20–21 June and overall had a very good experience.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with a good variety. The room was clean and comfortable as well.
The only small issue was that it could be a bit noisy at night since the hotel is close to the street. Other than that, everything was pleasant and we enjoyed our stay."
"Service on arrival was friendly and informative. Parking was £10 per day and is under cover next to the accommodation. We requested a room away from the lift and this was given to us but it was very quiet and we didn’t hear any noise. The room and room size was enough for what we needed although given it was a room for 2, and we had cooking facilities, there was only one chair at the table so we to eat on our lap. The only other thing for me, was that although we were only there for 3 nights, there was no room service so our bins did not get emptied, by day 4 they were overflowing and smelt. They gave one dishwasher tablet only, a washing up sponge, tea towel and washing up liquid but nothing to wipe down the surfaces. The bathroom facilities were ok, shower hot and powerful. Again, the sink in the bathroom was high for me, not sure how a child would reach the sink. There was a complementary drinks and croissant station but personally the coffee was not to my taste. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would highly recommend staying there, it is very central to everything."
"The entrance was so difficult to get to, with such a huge detour to walk around just to get to the entrance. The service and check-in was woeful, when we checked in late at night. The person at the desk didn't know how to check us in, and the other person who was supposed to know how to do the check-in was not around- and had to be called back down. Long wait to check in late that night, even though there was no other guest waiting. The car parking arrangement was terrible as well, and didn't work with their supposed online link up with the parking provider. Very average experience."
"Sleep well
Quiet
Water temperature perfect
Supermarket nearby, good
Friendly Front desk
Bathroom no glass door, water and steam everywhere after taking bath
Gave us a very dirty towel in one day, have to change at front desk"
"Pretty much almost Travelodge excellence get a proper AC system instead of the awful tiny fan like most of the Travelodges I’ve been to and you’ll be a 100% in my book.
Other then no AC I can’t fault the place"
"Very loud neighbourhood with constant outside noise. The walls are extremely thin, I could hear people talking in the next room. The heating system was broken, so we were given two small plug-in radiators that kept overheating the room, then switching off and making it cold again. Sleep was horrible. The spa is very small, with no space in the sauna and the pool crowded with kids. We paid £177 for one night on the top floor with lounge access, but the lounge had no snacks—only soft drinks (drink selection was okay). Overall, poor value for the price."
"The service is very friendly and helpful. Convenient location. Clean room and well maintained toilet.
However:
1. Because it locate at city centre, it gets all kinds of annoying noises from the streets, all the way to 02:00 am.
2. Because the facility is old, the walls and windows are too thin, unable to lower down the noises from the streets and from other rooms. If someone walks heavily or talks loudly, your sleep will be affected."
"my room was as I expected everything I needed for my stay, I mentioned cleanliness in your review. My room was great, and the hotel overall was good, but the lift had sweet wrappings on the first night and was still there when l left, small detail that won't stop me recommending the hotel but you asked and that was the only bit I could inform you about,"

Amazing
GGuest UserAs i was attending a funeral of a dear family member, I was very pleased with the location and more importantly the cleanlines and stress free stay at the orchard hotel. My room was very spacious and clean. The staff were wonderful and helpful in every aspect. The food in the restaurant was above par and well deserved. a trip to Nottingham would definatly warrant a further stay at this hotel. 5 star for definate and would certainly stay again. Thank you for a great stay
AAnonymous UserThe room was nice and clean, no complaints and room service each morning was good. However, the breakfast was terrible; only scrambled eggs and beans, yogurt and not very fresh fruits, there was porridge but it is made with water rather than milk - surprised and disappointed by quality. The eggs ran out and I had to ask for more. I stayed at a premier inn the week before where breakfast was better.
CChau Chi HengThe hotel services are very good, the breakfast is very nice. The hotel facilities are very good. Personally I prefer hand held shower instead of wall mounted jet.
BBB TUSKAI had a lovely one-night stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful, making the check-in process quick and smooth.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room was quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep.
The hotel itself was well maintained and had a pleasant atmosphere. I also appreciated the convenient location, which made it easy to get around.
Although my stay was only for one night, it was a very positive experience. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay
GGuest UserGood location- easy to find and close to the train station. We drove so used the car park in front of the hotel where there is a discount for staying at the hotel just let reception know you are parked there - is a set fee for 24hrs.
Rooms were clean and quite basic but sufficient for what we needed - downside no fridge to chill your drinks. There is a kettle to make hot drinks and room has tv which is good.
Ordered the breakfast which was lovely - options to have cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, pastries and a full English with coffee/tea and juice.
Restaurant overlooks the river which was nice as we could see the ducks and swans
Hotel has a bar which was nice to have a few drinks in the evening when we arrived
Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - would definitely go back if we needed to stay in Nottingham again
Price was good value for money!
GGuest UserThe last night of leaving the UK to do a test stay here! Typical British family hotel, general hygiene, this room type bed is small, bedding is also general, temporary make do for one night is ok 😂😂😂 But I think unless special circumstances, Chinese people will not live here, live in the city center is not aromatherapy 😂😂😂
BBenjamin ArthurA lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares?
There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat.
The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names.
The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk.
Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in.
Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update.
Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend.
GGuest UserThe hotel it’s self was really nice however the location was not great, without getting an uber or having a car it’s really far from the city centre
GGuest UserJust needed to put my head down for the night. Reception was friendly..I arrived late at 2340..friendly night guy..room was adequate for my needs..Room 9 cold tap handle was missing, but a shsve was possible and teeth with warm water..mattress protector needs a boil wash and new carpet would freshen things. Shower was luke warm but manageable..heating was fine..tv ok..1 night fine;)
