There is a price drop of over 40 euros on the day of arrival. So it is better to use We Price Match to claim the differences."

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Kaštelet, the hotel straff is very friendly and service minded. Our frontdesk manager Hava was very helpful with all things we needed. She had the things in room fixed and we recommend this hotel for couples. The breakfast a la carte is amazing. Only think is that when ordering breakfast some things was not as ordered. And the last day the breakfast takeaway was just fruit, no drinks, baguette comparing to the a a la carte menu😁"

"I stayed here to travel around Makarska. It is located in an inconvenient location for getting around without a rental car, and parking spaces are usually full. I paid 10 euros for parking, but ultimately I was unable to use the hotel's affiliated parking lot. If you are visiting for swimming, this is the best hotel. The underground restaurant is connected to the beach, boasting a beautiful view, and you can see a bit of the sea from the guest rooms as well."

"Great location! It's very central with all the bars and restaurants right downstairs (the only downside is the noise at night...). The room is very nice with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The shower room is lovely. There's even a Lavazza machine to make a good coffee in the morning before going to breakfast. However, the breakfast is a huge negative point! Very poor service: the waiters were not welcoming at all! They barely greeted us, and some of them were even smoking cigarettes while working (I was shocked!!! It's the first time I've seen that in a hotel! Okay... there's a first time for everything, but honestly, it's not pleasant!). Industrial croissants... bad bread 🍞 and only a few sad slices of cheese, as well as a few slices of watermelon 🍉! You have to chase down the server in the dining room to ask for the menu (and you feel like you're bothering them!). There's a bit more variety on the menu, but I found the quality to be average (apart from the smoked salmon, which was very good). I asked for a cappuccino with a sweetener. After a few moments, a waiter came to the table and took away the sweetener without even looking at me or asking if I was finished using it or if I wanted another coffee ☕️! No comment!... In short, the service really needs improvement because you clearly feel like you're more of a bother than anything else, and it's super irritating! We pay for breakfast, it's not free, so besides the lack of product choice and their average quality, we have the right to a pleasant welcome in the morning! In the lobby, the receptionists are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful! That really raises the hotel's standard!"

"Very nice, modernized hotel in a great location. Breakfast excellent. Unfortunately, the area in front of the infinity pool and loungers were completely overcrowded and nothing was left, which was a bit uncomfortable. The small garden in front of the indoor pool with the loungers and the day beds was nice and quiet and not that crowded. Hotel is definitely recommended."

"Spend a day in a 4th floor sea view room. The moment you open the door and enter the room, you will exclaim, “Wow!” You will be taken straight to the veranda. The wide open sea, the beach right in front of the room, people swimming in the clean water, a well-maintained promenade under the pine trees along the beach, people relaxing at various restaurants and bars next to the promenade, pretty yachts anchored nearby… I can’t express it all in words. The rooms are spacious and clean. Not only the rooms, but the entire interior and exterior of the building are clean. It’s well organized. The elevators are made of glass, so you can see the sea as you go up and down. The outdoor pool is also good. After playing in the sea, you can walk 20-30 meters to the hotel’s outdoor pool. The breakfast is not great, but it’s still pretty good. The neatly dressed middle-aged men clean the tables and serve you, and you can see how carefully they do it. I’m currently traveling to several cities in Croatia in late October and early November, and this hotel is the best value for money. The staff is also friendly. You can walk to the tourist attractions from the hotel. No, I recommend walking. It's close. On your way back, walk to the observatory and the lighthouse. I also recommend taking a walk along the beach before or after sunset or before or after breakfast. The parking fee for one night at this hotel is 8 euros, but if you include 20% tax, it's a little less than 10 euros. It's a little disappointing that parking isn't free. And there's a mart on the beach right below this hotel, and the cheapest bottle of water was 2.20 euros, and the cheapest can of beer was 3.00 euros. It seems a little expensive. Of course, this mart doesn't seem to be directly managed by the hotel."
