Aisha SamadI love the location the most. Fuss-free hotel tbh. Only issue i have with this hotel is that there is no power socket by the bed. So i have to charge it next to the tv. Also the toilet had a backflow issue which is gross - this is fixed by the hotel after i mentioned it to them. Not my first stay here. If you’re not fussy, want cheap and convenient, then this hotel is it. Please get the breakfast along with your rooms as it’s more worth it that way and the food is REALLY GOOD.

MaewnumI stayed here during a long public holiday weekend in Singapore, and honestly… don’t expect too much. 😂
I specifically requested a room with two beds, but I got only one bed. I also requested a high floor, but got a low floor instead. So I guess my requests were just suggestions. 😂
The in-room Google device was another story. I tried talking to it, but it seemed to understand absolutely nothing I said. Maybe we were speaking completely different languages. 😂 In the end, I just gave up.
I stayed with a friend, so there were two of us in the room. We were given 2 large towels, 1 small towel and 1 bath mat.
Honestly, I have no idea what the one small towel was supposed to be for. 😂 For two people, it’s basically useless. Next time, you might as well not give us one — at least we won’t have to figure out how two people are supposed to share one tiny towel. 😂
And then came breakfast…
Breakfast was extremely chaotic and crowded. The most ridiculous part was when an auntie literally took our table while my friend and I were getting food.
We had already taken the table. We didn’t leave the restaurant or anything — we were literally just a few steps away getting our food. But she came over and sat at our table anyway, as if it was suddenly hers. 😂
The staff saw what happened but basically just stood there and watched. We didn’t argue with her or make a scene. We simply moved to another table because honestly, it wasn’t worth the trouble. 😂
As for the breakfast itself, it wasn’t good, but it was edible. So… I guess that’s something. 😂
Would I recommend this hotel?
Only if you come with very low expectations. 😂
If you decide to stay here, I’d recommend NOT booking the room with breakfast included. Sleep in, wake up late, and go somewhere else for lunch. Honestly, you’ll probably have a better experience.
Overall, not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, but definitely not somewhere I’d be excited to come back to. 😂

Guest UserThe hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.

crystaltuThe hotel's location is excellent, surrounded by restaurants. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The breakfast selection at the hotel is extensive, and it changes daily, so it never gets boring. If I have the chance, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Room was relatively clean except ants on the table. However the toilet was a little dirty. The sink kept getting clogged. Ac was great and cold. The lift is very slow.

Amenities: Toiletries were provided, but I brought my own shampoo. The lack of a hairdryer was a bit inconvenient.
Cleanliness: The room, including the bathroom, was very clean. Staff cleaned the room daily.
Environment: The room was filled with a scent, which I personally didn't care for. The room faced the street and was extremely noisy. On the first night, I had a splitting headache and had to buy painkillers from across the street just to get some sleep. Light sleepers might find this quite challenging.
Service: The staff were very pleasant, polite, and efficient.

Anonymous UserGood service and location, but room condition and pre-booking transparency need improvement
We booked two different room types: a one-bedroom unit with living room and a Studio.
First, the positives. The service team was responsive and helpful through WhatsApp. The standard check-in was 3:00 PM, but when we asked at around 1:30 PM whether early check-in was possible, they managed to let us check in at approximately 1:45 PM. We genuinely appreciated this.
The location was good and the property itself has good potential. Unfortunately, the condition of the units did not quite match what we expected for the price paid.
The one-bedroom + living room unit had an unpleasant smell, visible pre-existing damage to the decorative wall below the TV and other wall maintenance issues. The bedroom door also felt unusually thin and lightweight, affecting the sense of privacy and sound insulation.
The Studio unit had no usable curtain covering the large glass window/balcony door beside the bed, affecting privacy and rest. We later found what appeared to be the curtain stored in a drawer, but the required holding bar was missing so we could not reinstall it.
We also found broken plastic components stored in a kitchen cupboard. More importantly, the entrance-door strike plate was loose and the surrounding frame showed cracking. We sometimes had to manually press the strike plate into position in order to properly close and lock the door.
These appeared to be pre-existing maintenance issues.
Another surprise was that detailed House Rules were only provided through WhatsApp on the day of check-in. These included no daily housekeeping, no replacement of towels/linen/amenities during the stay, and a requirement for guests to dispose of their own rubbish before checkout.
We understand that an apartment/residence operates differently from a full-service hotel, and we do not expect 5-star hotel service. However, important service conditions should be clearly disclosed before booking and payment so travellers can make an informed choice.
Likewise, an apartment does not need to be perfect. Cosmetic wear can be acceptable. But known defects or missed maintenance should ideally be addressed before check-in or communicated to the guest beforehand, particularly when they affect privacy, security or normal use of the room.
As travellers, we also do not expect to become room inspectors immediately after arrival, photographing every existing scratch, damaged wall or fitting simply to establish that we did not cause it.
For the price paid, the condition unfortunately felt below some less expensive inns/hotels we have previously stayed in.
This is not a bad property. The location is good, the service team was responsive, and with better maintenance and pre-arrival quality control it could be a very nice place to stay.
Our main disappointment was the loss of informed choice. Had we known the actual condition and service arrangements beforehand, we could have accepted them, requested another available unit, or chosen different accommodation before arriving.
Overall: good service, good location and good potential, but room maintenance, quality control and transparency before booking need improvement.
