"Came to this beautiful city for a concert with friends. It's super close to the venue! The high-floor room offered a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with any questions. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends. Plus, there's a delicious Bawangchaji tea shop and other great food options on the ground floor!"

"I am visiting Jakarta with my family to watch F4 concert. the reason why we choose this hotel is due to the location. It is around 20min walk from the concert arena to the hotel. Since we know that the traffic after the concert will be super long. The staffs are very friendly and room is spacious. The only thing I would like to call out is that the shower gel and shampoo are not easily dispenseable. It is so hard to get it out and I end up using shampoo as shower gel. I thought this is only happening in my room but another room face the same as well. Hopefully the issue will be fixed."

"The location is excellent! There are plenty of dining options nearby, including Lippo Mall, Kakilima (street food stalls), and various warungs. The room has a kitchen fully equipped with dishes and cooking utensils, which was incredibly convenient for warming up takeout meals. Basic amenities were provided, and bottled water was also supplied. Regarding the facilities, I'd like to share a note about the bathroom. Although not shown in the photos, there's a bathtub opposite the shower. However, if multiple people bathe consecutively, the water tends to cool down a bit. For those who prefer very hot baths, I recommend waiting a while between uses (though it's not extremely cold, so it's not a major concern). I also appreciated the washing machine and the provided detergent. One minor issue was that the washing machine drain seemed clogged, causing water to overflow in front of the machine during drainage. Improving this would make the stay even more comfortable. Previously, when I stayed at another residence nearby, the Azan (call to prayer) was quite noticeable, but I didn't hear it at all during my stay here, which was a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were all very kind and provided excellent service. I would definitely love to stay at this residence again!"

"Stayed here with my wife while attending the Aston Villa vs Indonesian All-Star match at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. The location is excellent, especially if you're in Jakarta for a football match or concert, as the stadium is just a short distance away. The hotel is also conveniently located near shopping malls and other attractions. The service was friendly and efficient, and the room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Overall, a great choice, and I would definitely stay here again."

"Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel’s location is very strategic, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. The breakfast was delicious, offering a good variety of food, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. However, I believe the cleanliness could be improved. I found a small cockroach in the bathroom, which was disappointing and affected my overall experience. I hope the hotel will pay more attention to pest control and housekeeping, as this would make the stay even better."

"overall, a very pleasant stay and hotel staff were excellent and polite. 1. in less than 3 minutes after calling front desk, a housekeeping staff came by to teach how to activate the dryer mode for the laundry machine. if a washing mode with multiple steps is in use, please note you might need to manually tap on the “play” button to proceed to the next step, so plan your laundry accordingly. 2. the room was left on dnd for more than a day and the hotel contacted us via whatsapp to verify that cleaning was not needed. requested for amenities to be placed right at the door and the request was well fulfilled. 3. had ordered a package that only arrived after i checked out of the hotel. i had informed the hotel about this potential issue before leaving and they promptly followed up on it. they followed the step by step instructions and it was a hassle-free coordination. (please note that courier from the hotel and to your home address has to be self-arranged.) 4. complimentary parking is available. i eventually did not request it, but all you have to let front desk know in advance is the vehicle plate number. extra pillows are available in the closet. the ample space in the kitchen area allowed for more space for laundry and baggage. location is quite central to major malls and some iconic landmarks. however, if you are travelling with elderly, children (or a light sleeper), you will hear the daily morning prayers from the nearby mosque at around 4.30am local time. i’d recommend anyone staying here to bring some earplugs. it wasn’t an issue for me as i slept off it after the first occurrence. some timestamps by car 1. banyard ~30mins in AM 2. cgk airport ~60mins in late AM (book a Grab ride at least 2 hours in advance for stress-free experience) 3. gould cafe ~8mins in AM 4. mori tower ~8mins in AM"

"stayed at Discovery SCBD Jakarta for 3 nights from Sunday to Wednesday during a business trip and had a very pleasant experience throughout my stay. The hotel's location is one of its biggest advantages. Situated directly opposite Pacific Place Mall in the heart of the SCBD area, it offers easy access to restaurants, cafés, shopping and office buildings, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travellers. The room was modern, spacious and exceptionally clean. My favourite feature was definitely the in-room coffee machine. As someone who starts the day with coffee and often works late during business trips, being able to enjoy a freshly brewed cup in the comfort of my room was a thoughtful touch that I truly appreciated. The large work desk by the window was also perfect for catching up on work after office hours, while the comfortable bed and reliable Wi-Fi made the stay even more enjoyable. I also enjoyed the breakfast concept. Instead of a traditional buffet, guests order their preferred dishes from a menu. I appreciated this approach as it helps reduce unnecessary food waste while ensuring that the meals are freshly prepared. What impressed me most was the speed of service — despite being individually prepared, the food was served promptly without a long wait, making breakfast both convenient and enjoyable before heading out for the day. The lobby and common areas are stylish, modern and well maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment of arrival. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient throughout my stay, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, Discovery SCBD Jakarta exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, convenience and thoughtful amenities. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Jakarta and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the SCBD area."

"Where do I begin! First of all we were upgraded from Large Garden to Gigantic Garden for three nights stay. The room comes with a vinyl player - definitely not something you see in other hotels! Staff are really amazing and helped you out at every opportunity. Every inch of the hotel is unique. Right smack inside Ashta mall - location is definitely on point. We stayed for a concert and the location is walkable to IstoraSenayan too (around 20-25 mins walk). Would be hard for me to choose elsewhere to stay next time I am in Jakarta!"
