I recently stayed at The Lalit New Delhi and had a fantastic experience. I chose this hotel primarily for its location, as it is incredibly convenient for attending events at the Indira Gandhi Arena. It saved me a lot of travel time and hassle.
The property itself is grand and very well-maintained. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a great view of the city—it felt like a proper luxury experience. I was also impressed with the breakfast spread; there were plenty of delicious vegetarian options, which I really appreciated. The staff were courteous and efficient during check-in and check-out.
Overall, it was a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for luxury in central Delhi.

I absolutely loved the hotel. It is like an escape place in the crowded train station area.
It is very clean and modern. Simple, but everything what it is needed is available. I loved the Courtyard where you can relax and enjoy a coffee/ tea/ water which they provide for free.
Breakfast is very good.
But the highlight are the employees. They are so friendly and helpful. I feel they really care about their guests. Due to flight cancellation I had to organize things. They helped me a lot. Thank you so much! All of you made me feel good. I will return, if I come back to Delhi.

To all my fellow Koreans, you *have* to check this place out! It's great value for money and they even provide unlimited bottled water. A lot of other places aren't very clean, but this one is spotless, and the service is fantastic. There's a restaurant downstairs; it's a bit pricey, but the food is decent.

The room is comfortable and clean. The breakfast is vegetarian. The location is perfect, close to the New Delhi station and another metro station. But VERY be careful of transportation scammers, especially at New Delhi station. Really recommend to take the uber directly from the airport to the hotel. Very high risk to be scammed if you take the Tuk Tuk or others from th New Delhi station. The place is surrounded by restaurants and rooftops.
Established in 1903 as one of the first hotels of Delhi and recognized as a Heritage Hotel in 1994; Maidens Hotel is a stately survivor of the golden age - a time when steam ruled the waves and the rails; empires flourished and when the rich the famous and the titled used it as their stage. Its sweeping driveway and the grand facade give an inkling of its star-studded past. Its architecture is the most glorious illustration of old-world European charm with its colonial impressions.
A stay at Maidens Hotel is ethereal and unmatched - an experience historically and culturally enriching. Every corner in the hotel has a story to tell; whether its unraveling the majestic royals of the princely states; the Delhi Durbar with its pre-independence coronation or the ruling times of The British Raj.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Maidens Hotel, Delhi with my wife and our 17-month-old daughter, and it has truly been the finest hotel experience I’ve ever had.
From the moment we entered, the entire team made us feel like family. Every staff member is courteous, warm, and genuinely hospitable. The front desk is always welcoming with a smile, and I’ll especially remember Aijaz, who greeted us so kindly, and the GM, Prachi, who personally extended her warmth. Housekeeping, security, restaurant staff and every single person here has a helping mentality that sets this property apart.
Our room was nothing short of spectacular; spacious, beautifully maintained, full of thoughtful amenities, and carrying a fragrance that instantly makes you feel at home. We had a luggage room, a drawing room, and a wonderfully decorated washroom. The welcome fruits and cakes were such a delightful surprise, something very few hotels still practice. There was even a little cutey bed prepared just for our daughter, which melted our hearts.
What touched us most, were the gestures for our little girl. Housekeeping left her personalized cushions and adorable plush toys; ‘act of kindness’ that go far beyond duty. Seeing her cuddle up with a cushion embroidered with her name, and play with the toys thoughtfully arranged on her bed, was pure magic. These are the kind of memories we’ll treasure forever, and I’ll make sure she knows how dearly she was cared for here when she grows older.
The dining experience was equally outstanding. Executive Chef Jashan Arora is beyond my praising capacity, a beautiful mind whose generosity and care cannot be overstated. Jashan even stood there during our departure, a gesture that shows the depth of his character and the heart he puts into his work. He personally ensured that our baby’s meals were made exactly how we wanted, often even better, and the dinners we had were delicious. The buffet breakfast was served alongside a green lawn where I had morning walks with my daughter, a picture-perfect start to each day.
This heritage property itself is breathtaking. Maidens Hotel has preserved its timeless architecture and charm so beautifully that every corner feels picturesque, walking through it is like stepping back into history, yet with every modern comfort in place.
There is truly nothing I can complain about here. If anything, my only regret is that I couldn’t do anything for the people who made our stay so memorable.
To Jashan, Aijaz, Prachi, Ayushi, the restaurant team, housekeeping, security, and everyone else, you have my heartfelt gratitude. This hotel has set a standard that others should learn from. It is, without doubt, the best hotel I have stayed in, and I look forward to returning again. Until then, I’ll miss you all dearly.

I stayed at The Connaught, New Delhi (IHCL SeleQtions) for a night in late December, and it was an excellent choice. I was traveling from Vrindavan and heading to Jaipur the next day, so I needed somewhere central and comfortable to recharge.
The location is unbeatable if you want to be near Connaught Place (CP). Despite being in a busy area, the hotel felt like a quiet sanctuary. The room had a great boutique vibe—modern but with that classic Taj hospitality. The staff were extremely attentive and made the check-in process smooth, which was a relief after a long drive.
I’m really glad I chose this over other options in the area. The breakfast was also a highlight with a good mix of options. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium stay in central Delhi.

Their service is outstanding, even better than many 5-star hotels. I was initially concerned about staying in this chaotic area with my elderly mother, but the staff reassured us completely. They even helped carry our heavy suitcases the 100-meter walk from the main road to the hotel. Don’t worry about the distance… they’ll take care of you from your check in to check out.
All the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist. They greet you warmly every time you come and go. When we took Ubers, they often sent someone to escort us to the main road. Even one time, the manager with formal suit helped us chasing the taxi. My mom was thoroughly impressed with the hotel.
Being a newer property, the rooms are quite clean. For Delhi standards, the value for money is excellent. Finding this level of quality in a prime location is tough. So we understand that we need to accept the environment outside this hotel… but once enter back hotel, we feel warm.
Particularly Thank you manager Tanveer. Always answer my need promptly. Hotel also helped me to receive the parcel.

HH.MATAlthough it's geographically close, you definitely need a car to get around; it doesn't feel very close otherwise. The room was decent, but the breakfast stood out with a good variety of options, and the traditional Indian desserts were quite delicious. There's a mall nearby with restaurants, and it's a new area with good security, which makes it very convenient for business travelers.
YYouS2017The hotel is just a short walk from Aerocity station, which is on the metro line to Delhi Airport. From the front lobby to the guest rooms, everything was of a high standard, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including authentic Indian dishes, which was very enjoyable. Currently, there's construction on the south side of the property, so south-facing rooms have a view of a construction site. However, through the gaps, you can still catch glimpses of the city in the distance and planes taking off and landing.
EEvgeniKrNot far from metro station Aerocity (15-20 minutes on foot) that is next station to the airport. But the area outside looks dodgy. Could be a bit difficult to find the place because Google Maps doesn’t know that hotel (look for nearby Hotel Ambrosia). The dinner (included in price) was really delicious. Had no chance to try breakfast due to early check out.
GGuest UserThere were bed bugs (khatmal) in my bed and it was a struggle to manage to sleep, taps of bathroom were leaking, the hotel lies on a congested street the sound of traffic was inside the room which was disturbing to take a good nap, i stayed in room no. 101, booked it for 2 days, sleeping on a bed full of bed bugs was threatning, irritating.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a good option for traveling passengers not far from the airport. Besides there is a big plus that the hotel provides free transportation to the airport terminal. The personnel is attentive and provided me upon my request the portable heater and helped with the copies of passport. Of course not a renowned chain hotel but with its price I believe it is a good place with good breakfast.
SsliceoflifeHotel is close to the airport, room was really acceptable with hot water shower, but the room was a little cold. I asked them to arrange taxi pick up, and the taxi was a little rude asking why I don't just take a taxi already at the airport. Upon arrival, they overcharged me for both taxi and room but I was too tired to argue with them (taxi should be 200, I paid 800, room should have been 1650 rupees, but in total I paid 3500 inc taxes).
AAndreyGreat location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
IilpMy review would be based on my 4-day stay and will only be fair and square. The hotel is located in a bsuy area of main bazaar, so expect noisy neighborhood with honking cars and shouting people. The place is not that secure, if that is your concern. The hotel is in a neighborhood of slums (yes, i explored the inner streets and alleys). The hotel though is decent, good value for your money. Transportation is a bit difficult (especially if you will book indrive or uber) since it is a busy and narrow street, cars and motorbikes don't go much often there (they get stuck in traffic).
The hotel room is okay. I booked a double room (i am a solo traveler but i want a big bed). They put two single beds together, so i can't really sleep in the middle because i sink in. The room is small. When I arrived, i was greeted by three medium sized cockroaches -two in the bedside table and one in bed. I managed to kill them though :-). Shower water is not always available. You can order food 24/7, and it was tasty (the falafel however is salty).. i paid roughly 100 usd for my stay.
Internet connection is fast and reliable but you need to log-in everytime you get disconnected. Secutiry of the hotel itself is lax. In fact, they have a notice that THEY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THEFT WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF THE THINGS ARE STOLEN IN YOUR ROOM :-)...
Visitors are not allowed. They provide airport pick-up and drop-off but the same is too costly (10usd) but in-app booking is only half the price (and even less). Hotel staff are willing to help you anytime foof the day - for a price. They always ask for tip (as in always)....
Their tours are relatively competitive and at par with other providers. Breakfast is bad (i forced myself to finish the pancake, bread and omelette). The utensils, plates and glasses were dirty (watermarked in the glasses). They provide electric kettle in the room but no coffee or tea provided, nor mugs. Pillows and bed were soft, aircon is good but television not much choices. The only english content is the news.
Will i recommend this hotel to friends? Yes if on tight budget. Otherwise, find a better one.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel’s about a 10-minute walk from Aerocity Metro Station, and there are loads of taxis and tuk-tuks right outside—super easy to get around. The air conditioning worked well. I didn’t really notice any noise issues.
The room and hotel were generally clean, though I did see one small cockroach in the room. Just a small one. No hot water for the shower. Refridge worked great.
One thing to watch out for: everyone seemed really focused on getting tips. Your room key stops working every day at noon, so you have to go to the front desk to reset it. Then someone will escort you to your room—and ask for a tip. If you want to use the Wi-Fi, you have to ask the front desk for a password slip that only works for one device and only for one day. Each time you go back for a new slip, they expect a tip again. Not sure if it’s a cultural thing or just the way this hotel operates, but it definitely felt a bit much.
