Hotels near Verdi Theater, Milan

The stay was super pleasant and the staff was approachable and friendly during our stay. The location was close to a tram stop which can assess to many tourist spots and main station.

The hotel located 20 mins far from Duomo in the North accessible by tram. The room was clean. And spacious enough for 2. They provided shampoo and body wash. Even some equipments did not work but they came to fix it right away. They have only one electronic socket point in the room which is a little bit difficult for 2 people but they brought us the spare plugs socket so it was solved.

The hotel is located in the financial district, surrounded by office buildings and plenty of shops. The subway station right outside the entrance is super convenient. There's also a high bar not too far downstairs, which is great for a night out. I felt quite safe returning to the hotel past midnight.

First, I must thank the hotel staff; they were very friendly and helpful. However, regarding the hotel itself, I must provide honest feedback. 1. Room Facilities: The room's style is minimalist, but I found it too simple. There was only a high chair; not a single comfortable chair to recline in. Also, the coat rack couldn't be removed from the rod; you had to put your clothes on, which meant shorter people would definitely need a stool to hang their clothes. 2. Room Cleanliness: Basic cleanliness was acceptable; it was cleaned daily. However, the bathroom constantly emitted a foul odor due to plumbing issues. After reporting this to the hotel, they only placed a spray bottle in the bathroom, which didn't solve the fundamental problem. 3. Noise Issues: The room wasn't soundproofed, and the hallway was very noisy whenever someone spoke. Furthermore, the hotel's cleaning staff spoke loudly in the hallway and threw cleaning tools outside my room. 4. Overall Facilities: The hotel entrance is about 100 meters long, and the passageway was still under construction; the pavement wasn't paved, and workers were doing painting during the day, which was very inconvenient. 5. Hotel Breakfast: For some reason, the hotel did not offer breakfast and required us to have it at the neighboring J24 Hotel. This was very inconvenient and was my biggest complaint.

My first stop in mainland Europe was Milan, and I chose this hotel. For two adults and one child, we opted for a triple room. European hotels are strict about occupancy matching the actual number of guests, so finding a triple room can be a challenge. We arrived from Milan Malpensa Airport at 6:30 AM, took a 1-hour train ride, and then walked to the hotel in less than 10 minutes – the route was very easy to find. The hotel is conveniently located, with a coffee shop across the street. We initially thought about having breakfast there, but later decided to head to the Duomo area instead. The hotel allowed us to store our luggage in advance, but early check-in wasn't possible, which is understandable. We came back around 3 PM for check-in and found that while the room wasn't large, it was well-equipped with bath towels, slippers, shower caps, and shampoo. You'll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and electric kettle. There's a safe and a mini-fridge in the room, but the mini-bar items are chargeable. Breakfast was especially plentiful and served from 7 AM to 11 AM. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel, though the Wi-Fi connection was a bit tricky. One minor complaint: the bathroom light is sound-activated, which is fine when showering, but it kept going dark while using the toilet, and even clapping loudly didn't always work. The small balcony was nice, but for non-smoking tourists, it's not particularly useful.

Everywhere was so crowded during the Milan Winter Olympics. This hotel is Chinese-owned, and a friendly lady at the front desk checked me in. The hotel is a bit old, with an old-fashioned elevator. However, its biggest advantage is its fantastic location. There's a Chinese restaurant downstairs, and it's only a 3-minute walk to the train and metro stations, and just 1 minute to the airport shuttle stop.

The room was large and clean. The neighborhood is residential and relatively quiet. The service was average, with the longest wait at the front desk ever for check-in. Transportation wasn't very convenient. I thought it would be convenient because it was close to the train station, but the station is so large and the passageways are complex, so it still takes a long time to get there. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to those unfamiliar with Milan just because of the transportation.

The hotel is near the train station that only few stations away from the central. There is a nearby restaurant which serves good meals. It is also near other restaurant and shops. They also provide generous toiletries although they did not replenish the coffee and tea the next day. The receptionists are friendly and accommodating. The surrounding garden is relaxing and the breakfast was great! I highly recommend this hotel for a cozy stay in Milan.
