Hotels near Jigenin Temple, Izumisano

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The location is great, very close to Kansai Airport, and there are many shops nearby. However, this hotel is a bit inferior to the one next door, which is probably why it's also cheaper. A special warning: room 2226, I don't know if it's because it's on a corner or something, but the noise from the train passing below is incredibly loud. At first, I thought it was an airplane taking off. After a lot of investigation, I realized it was the train. The soundproofing is very poor; you can clearly hear cars driving by downstairs and even police sirens. The train noise, in particular, is so loud you can hear it clearly even from the hallway outside the door. Since I'm a light sleeper, I couldn't stand it at all. After communicating with the hotel twice, the front desk lady finally helped me change to a room on the 21st floor. I could still hear some noise, but it was much quieter and didn't affect my sleep much at night. However, after this experience, I probably won't stay here again. It would be better to pay a little more and stay at the SIS next door.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a three-minute walk from Rinku Town Station, which is only one stop away from the airport. The rooms are well-maintained, clean, and spacious. The lobby staff are polite and friendly, and both check-in and check-out are quick. Plus, there's a free airport shuttle service available for booking, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel offers fantastic value for money. It's also very close to the beach and outlet mall, both within walking distance.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from JR Rinku Town Station. Our room offered a beautiful sea view, perfect for watching the sunset in the evening. We, a family of two adults and two children, booked a Japanese-Western style room with two single beds and space for two futon beds on tatami mats, which was very convenient. (We paid for four people in advance; if you don't select four people, there might be an extra charge for setting up additional futons, as it's not complimentary). The room was spacious and included a dedicated walk-in closet, with all necessary amenities. Each floor of the hotel also had a water dispenser and microwave oven. This hotel is very close to Kansai Airport, which was perfect for our early morning flight. Its location is incredibly convenient. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus service to Kansai Airport Terminal 1, which takes about 10 minutes and requires advance booking. Within 100 to 200 meters, there's a large outlet mall on the left-hand side, with plenty of dining and shopping options, and you can also take a stroll by the sea. Across the street from the outlet mall, there's a fairly large Don Quijote, which is very comprehensive and ideal for picking up souvenirs at the end of your trip, including some cosmetics and medicines. To the right of the hotel, there's a Cosmos drug store with a wide range of products, also worth exploring.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location right inside the airport terminal. If you have an early flight the next morning, staying here is incredibly convenient. You don't have to worry about traffic or time, and you can get a little extra sleep. However, my overall experience was that the value for money wasn't great. The price of over 300 a night felt a bit high compared to the actual stay. The hotel was also a bit hard to find. I initially followed Google Maps, and the navigation showed a long detour. I ended up having to check Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) for directions to find the correct route. I'd recommend first-time visitors do some research beforehand. The room was larger than I expected, and all the necessary facilities were provided. There was even a small lockable cabinet next to the bed for valuables like phones, wallets, and passports. For larger luggage, the front desk offers a locked luggage storage area, with each item individually secured, so security is quite good. The staff were also very friendly and enthusiastic when communicating, patiently helping with any issues. That said, as soon as I entered the room, there was a strong, somewhat artificial scent, like the air fresheners often used in public restrooms or malls in China, or a heavy incense smell. I personally didn't like it, and after a while, it became a bit uncomfortable. Also, the duvet on the bed was quite thin, so if you tend to get cold easily, it might not be comfortable enough. Overall, the main value of this hotel is its convenience for catching early flights. If you're just staying to catch a plane the next morning, I'd still recommend it. But for a regular leisure trip, I think the value for money for over 300 a night is just average, and the overall experience was fairly unremarkable.

Amazing. Genuinely couldn’t fault it. I arrived very late in the evening after a flight and the gentlemen on the check-in desk was so lovely and helpful and made me feel right at home. He also offered me all the freebies, from toothpastes and a toothbrush to facial cleansing oil and green tea bags… I got up to my room and it was absolutely spotless. The bathroom, the bedroom, the living space, all like new. They even had a smart tv in the room which was very unexpected and a nice treat after a long day, just like the bath. I would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone. A 4 minute walk from Izumisano Staion so perfect to get the Airport Express train directly from or to Kansai Airport.

Cleanliness: Typical Japanese hotel cleanliness, nothing special, nothing bad. Environment: Right next to Rinku Town Station, about a 2-minute walk. There's an outlet mall and a supermarket nearby. Service: The hotel offers airport shuttle service, but it might be fully booked. It takes 15 minutes to get to the airport. Free luggage storage is available. Facilities: The hotel is a bit old.

I usually stay in Izumisano the night before returning from a business trip. My regular hotel was fully booked this time, so I opted for this one. The service was excellent, and the location was super convenient for shopping and dining. Unfortunately, the carpets in the older wing were quite worn. After turning off the lights to sleep, I was frequently disturbed by a loud gurgling noise, like boiling water, coming from either the air conditioning or the bathroom drain. Just as I was about to doze off, it would start up again. I didn't get any decent sleep at all. The next morning, I checked out early and headed straight to the airport!

I chose to stay here for an early morning flight the next day. I actually booked this place two years ago but didn't end up coming, and didn't get a refund... But I wanted to enjoy the hot springs ♨️ and do some outlet shopping, so I booked it again. Location: It's a bit awkward. It's directly opposite the outlet mall, so after shopping, you have to walk quite a distance, especially on a scorching afternoon. You also have to go under an unmanned overpass. It was a bit confusing to find the first time. Hot Springs ♨️: The natural hot springs are quite nice, with one large pool and one small outdoor pool. However, there was an earthquake while I was there, and the sea instantly became turbulent with strong winds ⚡ and thunder and lightning – it felt like the end of the world. There's a bar and a lounge area at the hot spring entrance, but the selection of items sold there is limited and mediocre. Restaurant at the hot spring entrance: It was expensive and the food was terrible. It was the first time I've ever been served yakiniku with sushi soy sauce for dipping – it was incredibly bad, and the quality of the dishes was very average. Actually, there are many other places to eat nearby, so if it's not pouring rain, it's best to eat out. However, the scenery there is indeed beautiful. Room: Pretty standard, not very spacious. But the bench by the window was very dirty, indicating inadequate cleaning and replacement. Front Desk: This dinosaur-themed self-check-in is truly bizarre. Self-check-in is convenient, but those two dinosaurs look a bit scary and eerie, and the lobby is dark and empty. My child and I were both startled. Overall: It's still recommendable, but you need to plan well.

Between 5 and 10 mins walk from the nearest subway depending on how fast you go. About 2km from the nearest airport express subway so need to change trains if using the nearest stop (normally the local train is waiting when the express arrives). With the train change it takes about 15 mins to get to the airport. Several large supermarkets within 5 mins walk, some beaches about a mile away, nothing else in the local area. Was able to check in early despite hotel being full. Rooms are small but functional. A bit out of date with old furniture and a small bathroom but everything working, plenty of power outlets, air-conditioning, tea and coffee, TV, reasonable lighting, toiletries provided, torch etc. Quiet most of the day and night, only a little bit of noise around breakfast time. Free drinks machine in the lobby as well as vending and a reasonable looking restaurant (didn't use it). Parking for locals outside. Was able to store luggage after checkout and pick it up again at 6pm. For AM departures to the airport a free shuttle bus is available. Easy location to find as it's the only tall hotel in the area and subway is usable as the line maps on the walls include English translations and you can pick the correct fare from the machines at the unmanned station by the zone price or by selecting airport. Express train is just under 40 minutes to Namba in the city - no idea how long the local train takes but worth changing at the first express station. A reasonable base of operations, not a destination or location in itself.

The place is nice location because it’s just across the outlets. and I highly recommend to stay before you flight back to your hometown. I love the ambiance and coziness of the place.
