The property is very well designed, with separate sections for different functions, which makes the sleep area very quiet! No need to worry if there are too many people in one shared room!! The location is also great! There are a lot of restaurants and shops around. It’s very clean, and the bed is super big despite being in a capsule dorm. I love this place and will definitely recommend it to everyone!

Compared to the one in Ueno station, it can't compete.
I had to spend an extra thousand japanese coins to store my luggage for 5 hours because they were very strict on the Check-in time at 3 PM. I've traveled around quite a bit and i've never had to spend extra money to store my bags in the hotel that I have already booked and paid to stay in for the night. To me, this was very inconvenient and a little strange.Considering this is the first time it ever happened to me. And I've traveled around many countries can't think of a single one. That wouldn't let me just store my bags in the behind the counter and then let me check in later. Everybody was very polite and nice and the guy would even use his translator to tell me about the company policy. I think this place must be pretty new.So the owner is running it by the book. Overall I still enjoyed it tho!

Booked a deluxe room for two, it was very spacious and the price was good. However, I wouldn't recommend the breakfast set; while tasty, the mixed coffee was good but too small. I feel like in the future, I'll probably book deluxe rooms at 3-star hotels more often.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from JR Kawasaki Station and about a 10-minute walk from Keikyu Kawasaki Station, making it ideal for those catching an early flight the next day. This is my second trip to Japan and my first time staying at Keikyu Ex Inn Kawasaki in Kawasaki. It was an amazing stay. Close to the train and Haneda Airport. It was the perfect home base for me. I was able to go into Tokyo, Saitama, Yokohama & take day trips to explore. I would like to thank Yamasaki for her kindness during my stay. I really enjoyed talking with her. She made me feel at home. I stayed for 12 nights and she made me feel so welcome there. The other front desk staff were wonderful too. I did not get all their names but one gentlemen was so kind to take some clothing items and a pair of boots of mine that did not fit in my luggage and dispose of them. I wanted to donate it but there was no place to do that close by. I felt so welcomed there and at home. The amenities such as coffee & teas 24hrs were a nice bonus too. I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my families & friends. I will definitely be back on my next visit in the winter season. I hope to see Yamasaki again too. Such a lovely lady.

You can watch YouTube and netfli on TV!
It was good to have an iron and dryer rental and try various shampoos!
There was also a drink service such as coffee and ice at the front desk.
The room was very beautiful.

It's a bit far from the station, but acceptable. The distance to both JR Kawasaki and Keikyu Kawasaki is similar. There's a convenience store downstairs and a shopping street nearby. The room was spacious and clean. During my three-night stay, the hotel cleaned the room once. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd consider staying here again if my itinerary allows.

The hotel was away from station within 10 mins walk. Very convenient. The staffs are very friendly and polite. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. I love the massage chair a lot in the public area. Just 15 mins cycle can refreshing yourself especially after a long day walking. A lot of restaurants around the area. You can definitely find something good to eat. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back if I travel here again.

The room was quite spacious with multiple doors. The bedroom floor wasn't wood, which made it a bit cold. The toilet and shower were separate, and the shower area was strangely large. It looked like there used to be a sauna in addition to the Jacuzzi, but the equipment has since been removed. A set of lighting fixtures in the bedroom gave the room a very intimate vibe. There was noticeable dust on the tabletop. The street outside the hotel isn't very reputable at night, so if you're easily scared, it's best not to go out.

The location is good, and I use it when I go to a certain yakiniku restaurant. Parking is inconvenient, and the parking in the neighborhood is expensive, so be careful.

Amazing
DDudulixianjiThe hotel service was excellent, and the price was very competitive. The location is great, just a short walk from the city rail station. The surrounding area is full of tall buildings, much like Shenzhen's Shekou district. There are plenty of dining options, including a hot pot restaurant that I tried. I visited during New Year's Day and explored some temples, which had a lively and authentic atmosphere.
シシュウさんI flew from Hokkaido to Haneda for an overnight stay, with an early morning flight the next day. So, I didn't get to use many of the hotel's facilities. However, there's one thing that truly stood out: the free shuttle bus service to and from the airport and Kawasaki Station. It ran perfectly on schedule, exactly as published, and the drivers were incredibly polite, professional, and even helped with luggage. The instructions for taking the shuttle on the hotel's website were also very accurate. Upon check-in, the front desk provides a boarding pass; make sure to keep it with you, as you'll need to show it to the driver whether you're going to Kawasaki Station or the airport. Besides catching the shuttle on time from the designated spot at T2 upon arrival, I also took a ride to Kawasaki Station after checking in. From Kawasaki Station, I took the JR to Ueno Park, which cost 440 yen one way, passing through famous stations like Shinagawa, Tokyo Station, and Akihabara along the way. In the evening, I returned to Kawasaki Station and caught the last shuttle back to the hotel exactly at 10:45 PM. The next morning, I took the first shuttle of the day from the hotel to the airport at 5:20 AM, again, perfectly on time. This kind of reliability is incredibly important for travelers. Next time, I'll definitely plan to stay for a few more days. A big thank you to all the hotel bus drivers! 🌹
GGuest UserThe hotel is about a 12‑minute walk from Keikyu‑Kawasaki Station, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores along the way. It’s a good option for travelers heading to Haneda Airport.
There are a few downsides:
1. Even though I booked a 26 m² room, I could still only open one suitcase at a time. The layout is a bit odd,the separate toilet and separate shower are almost the same size, and both are bigger than the small table area.
2. For guests staying multiple nights, the hotel doesn’t automatically provide extra coffee packets or tissues. There’s a bathtub, but bath salts are only provided on the first day. There’s also no in‑room phone, so you have to go downstairs to the front desk if you need anything.
3. Breakfast is very simple. It’s just three rice balls with a nice story behind them, but honestly, a more substantial breakfast would be more practical.
Overall, the hotel works fine for business travelers, but it doesn’t really feel worth the USD 200 per night.
HHehehe_233This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in the greater Tokyo area! The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's very close to JR Kawasaki Station, and you can reach Tokyo Station in about 20 minutes with just three stops on the Tokaido Line. It really holds its own against hotels within central Tokyo. The area around Kawasaki Station is also bustling with businesses. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. The room itself was spotless and tidy, and the amenities were well-appointed – even the TV was a large Sony. Thank you!!
GGuest UserMe and my girlfriend booked at the slash hotel for 9 days on our first trip to Japan ! It was an amazing experience and the hotel was perfect for the two of us(the rooms are a little small compared to the pictures they provided but again, it was perfect for us)😊. It’s close to many amazing ramen restaurants with lots of night activities ! It also was right next to many convenient stores and a drug store for your needs ! They have the coffee and tea area on the 10th floor that my girlfriend loved and was free of charge so she was able to get her morning coffee everyday 😆. I highly recommend this hotel if you either need a quick place to stay or even for a whole Japan trip like us as foreigners. The staff was really helpful and kind and not to mention the service was amazing with breakfast so I would also recommend getting the breakfast package when staying ( if you don’t, you can still purchase breakfast there if needed).
Thank you so much Kawasaki hotel for the amazing experience and care that we received !
GGuest UserA charming small hotel with a Japanese-style atmosphere. Located in a residential district of Kawasaki, about a 10-minute walk from the train and metro stations. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated in traditional Japanese style, featuring a raised futon bed. The large bathroom includes a whirlpool bathtub. Slippers, a bathrobe, and a Japanese kimono for walking around the property are provided in the room. The hotel does not have a traditional reception desk. On the ground floor, there's a cozy lounge where breakfast is served (simple pre-set meals—miso soup and a rice sandwich). A unique feature is the 24-hour access to a selection of several types of sake, drinks, juices, craft beer, and hot snacks in the hotel lobby—all included in the room rate. In summary, a modern hotel with authentic Japanese flair and the added bonus of free sake tasting. Highly recommended.
Lli_yuan_fangLet's start with the downsides:
The room's aisle was so narrow I couldn't even open my suitcase.
The shower stall was tiny; I'd bump into the walls if I wasn't careful.
The soundproofing was quite poor.
Now for the positives:
It's cheap and close to Haneda Airport.
The front desk staff were incredibly nice; they intentionally spoke slowly, knowing my English wasn't great.
GGuest UserThe Japanese room is very mini, but the things are very complete. The bathroom has a bathtub. It is very comfortable to prepare a disposable bathtub bag in advance.
GGuest UserThe hotel is not bad, the price/performance ratio is quite high, the sanitation is very clean, the facilities are very complete, the environment is good, the service is very good, the waiters are very enthusiastic, and it is a very satisfactory stay
AAnonymous UserThe room is very standard and the bed is clean.
The room is old but well-equipped. The bed in my room is facing two wire doors, which is a bit scary but acceptable.
There was no hair dryer in my room during the stay. After I told the front desk staff, they found it for me in time.
The decoration at the entrance of the store is very stylish
