"It was a perfect stay, the hotel was clean and tidy and pretty well located"

"We spent our winter holiday here and there are plenty of local groceries stores around. The train station is just a breeze walk away so it’s easy to travel around. The Zaanse Schans (windmill attraction), Zaandam (‘Lego’ house) is just few stations away from the hotel. Stay wise it’s comfortable but can get tad abit noisy as the sound insulation between walls are rather weak. All in all we will definitely stay here again!"

"The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is on the seventh floor, and the baguettes are delicious with a wide variety of options. I highly recommend staying here. The breakfast view is also great, and the mini gherkins are quite tasty."

"The hotel was really nice and clean. The area isn’t touristy, so it’s fairly quiet and nice, but very well reachable by metro: only 13 min subway ride to central station , and the station is a short walk away. Amstel train station is also nearby, which is very convenient. The bed is very comfortable, I loved the towels, which were very soft and fluffy. I found the motion activated light in the bathroom a little annoying, especially since it often went off while I was showering, because no movement could be detected, so I had to open the shower cabine to set the light back on. We did not try breakfast as 23 euro per person seemed a little overpriced. Overall, I found the value good for money. The stay was very comfortable and enjoyable, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel."

"My family had a mixed experience at this hotel for 7 days of visiting Amsterdam in June 2026. We were cordially greeted by receptionists and the first impression of the room was clean and spacious, although there was a distinctive odour coming from the shower booth, probably due to a plumbing issue. We purchased the breakfast and it was well prepared from the kitchen. The breakfast buffet menu was same in the last 6 days. One problem has occurred with shredded glasses in the room. I suspect that the care taker dropped glass cups onto the floor while my family went outside of the hotel. It was briefly cleaned up and caused many debris of glass pieces remaining onto the floor, inside of my family’s shoes and even shower. The incident was not reported to us, no messages at all. My spouse and I accidentally stepped onto the glass pieces, unfortunately. The safety protocol was not professional, but the receptionist changed our room immediately. There was no communication from the manager, thought it was reported through the receptionist. The location was great as the bus stop is two minutes away from the hotel. There is a grocery store called Lidl in front of the hotel. In the last day, Thursday June 25th, there was a huge social party happening at the ground level of the hotel, and the music was playing until the night. My kids were not able to sleep due to the excessive level of noise."

"The location might seem a bit far out, but it's right next to the LRT station, making it even more convenient to get to the city center than staying in the city center itself. The downside is there aren't many dining options nearby, just a McDonald's across the street. The hotel facilities are extremely modern, perfect for younger guests. The elevators are super cool – you select your floor on an external digital screen, and it automatically assigns one to you. This is really convenient, but it took me a while to figure it out on my first stay. The underground parking is very high-tech, but the parking fee isn't cheap at 25 a night."

"This is a pretty standard luxury hotel, with no major issues. There's a mini-fridge, but it's not cold enough and doesn't come stocked with anything. However, the umbrella is a high-end carbon fiber one, which is quite rare and a nice touch. The bathroom drain had a bit of a problem, probably a clog from hair that needs to be cleaned promptly. My biggest issue, though, was the front desk – they were incredibly slow! Especially during check-out. I've never seen a hotel where you have to wait in line one by one; usually, you just leave your room card and go."

"Everything was great—the room, service, and facilities were all excellent. It was very convenient to be able to rent bicycles directly from the hotel, and there’s a supermarket nearby. While it’s a bit of a distance from the city center, there is a light rail close by that goes straight there. If you love river views, this place is perfect. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and it’s a lovely area for a morning walk. Note for remote workers: There is currently construction nearby, and it can get quite noisy around midday. If you need a perfectly quiet environment to work from the hotel, you might want to keep this in mind. However, this is not the hotel's fault, and I still highly recommend staying here!"

"I was in Amsterdam for work at RAI and the hotel was a pleasant 25-minute walk away. I enjoyed the scenery along the way, and it was a bonus to catch a rowing competition happening on the Amstel River – quite a sight! The hotel's room service was excellent, and housekeeping was always prompt. The restaurant was also clean and hygienic."

"When we checked in, they were very polite and kind, and even though we don't speak either English or Dutch, they explained things to us in easy-to-understand English. They even carried our suitcases up to our room, which was very helpful. The room was very spacious, and there was plenty of room even with two suitcases spread out. When we checked out, we had to use the stairs to get from the room, so it was difficult to carry our suitcases up, but a cleaning man who happened to be passing by helped us out, which was very helpful. We were able to check out online, but we had to return the card key to an employee, and since there was another guest in front of us, it took a while to return the key. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay."
