"When we checked in, they were very polite and kind, and even though we don't speak either English or Dutch, they explained things to us in easy-to-understand English. They even carried our suitcases up to our room, which was very helpful. The room was very spacious, and there was plenty of room even with two suitcases spread out. When we checked out, we had to use the stairs to get from the room, so it was difficult to carry our suitcases up, but a cleaning man who happened to be passing by helped us out, which was very helpful. We were able to check out online, but we had to return the card key to an employee, and since there was another guest in front of us, it took a while to return the key. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay."

"Excellent location at Hotel V Oosterpark, Linnaeusstraat 2C, 1092 CK Amsterdam, directly next to Oosterpark. Parking is convenient at Q-Park Oostpoort, Polderweg 92, 1093 KP Amsterdam, which is approximately a 700 m walk from the hotel. At the moment, ongoing construction work makes access a bit less convenient, and arriving by car may require a detour. The location is very good for leisure activities, walking, and sports thanks to the immediate proximity to Oosterpark. The building feels new and has a clean, minimalist style. The rooms are modern, with minimalist furniture and a well-executed contemporary interior design. The bathroom design was less practical for me, as there is no proper door, so cold air from the room comes in while showering, which feels uncomfortable. The amenity kit is stylish and gives a premium impression. The bed was unfortunately too soft for my personal preference. Breakfast was good overall, especially the egg station where guests can order eggs prepared to their liking. Overall, this is a modern and well-designed hotel with a strong location, though a few comfort details could be improved."

"My family had a mixed experience at this hotel for 7 days of visiting Amsterdam in June 2026. We were cordially greeted by receptionists and the first impression of the room was clean and spacious, although there was a distinctive odour coming from the shower booth, probably due to a plumbing issue. We purchased the breakfast and it was well prepared from the kitchen. The breakfast buffet menu was same in the last 6 days. One problem has occurred with shredded glasses in the room. I suspect that the care taker dropped glass cups onto the floor while my family went outside of the hotel. It was briefly cleaned up and caused many debris of glass pieces remaining onto the floor, inside of my family’s shoes and even shower. The incident was not reported to us, no messages at all. My spouse and I accidentally stepped onto the glass pieces, unfortunately. The safety protocol was not professional, but the receptionist changed our room immediately. There was no communication from the manager, thought it was reported through the receptionist. The location was great as the bus stop is two minutes away from the hotel. There is a grocery store called Lidl in front of the hotel. In the last day, Thursday June 25th, there was a huge social party happening at the ground level of the hotel, and the music was playing until the night. My kids were not able to sleep due to the excessive level of noise."

"Disappointing overall experience. Poor service and customer experience; Check-in was uncomfortable due to an accusatory tone from front desk staff regarding the number of guests in the room, which felt unwelcoming and unnecessary The breakfast promotion was poorly communicated, signage suggests an automatic early-bird discount, but a voucher must be requested at check-in, which was not clearly explained. The Deluxe Loft Room, while clean, was not comfortable: the sofa bed was uncomfortable, the loft windows had no view, and the ceiling height near the toilet is very low, easy to hit your head. Overall, the room fell well below expectations for the price."

"Stayed at this hotel again. Even though it's a tram ride from the Central Station, once you get the hang of it, transportation is quite convenient. The biggest advantage is the value for money, and of course, Hilton's hotel management is always on point, the staff are very enthusiastic, and the breakfast is pretty good."

"The location might seem a bit far out, but it's right next to the LRT station, making it even more convenient to get to the city center than staying in the city center itself. The downside is there aren't many dining options nearby, just a McDonald's across the street. The hotel facilities are extremely modern, perfect for younger guests. The elevators are super cool – you select your floor on an external digital screen, and it automatically assigns one to you. This is really convenient, but it took me a while to figure it out on my first stay. The underground parking is very high-tech, but the parking fee isn't cheap at 25 a night."

"The room was very clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The toilet and shower room were separate, which was very reasonable for six people as it allowed us to stagger our usage times. The staff at the front desk and the lobby bar were lovely and enthusiastic. You could order food, coffee, and drinks, or simply ask for hot water to make your own instant noodles, coffee, or tea for free. The most unique feature of this youth hostel is the tiered lecture hall from a university located behind the central lobby. You can sit alone at a 'classroom' desk to read, work on your computer, or use your phone, or gather with a few friends. It's truly distinctive! As an old aunt who graduated from university nearly 40 years ago, being here felt like traveling back in time to my youth. ❤️"

"We spent our winter holiday here and there are plenty of local groceries stores around. The train station is just a breeze walk away so it’s easy to travel around. The Zaanse Schans (windmill attraction), Zaandam (‘Lego’ house) is just few stations away from the hotel. Stay wise it’s comfortable but can get tad abit noisy as the sound insulation between walls are rather weak. All in all we will definitely stay here again!"

"The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is on the seventh floor, and the baguettes are delicious with a wide variety of options. I highly recommend staying here. The breakfast view is also great, and the mini gherkins are quite tasty."
