"About an 8-minute walk from Bergen Station, and a 15-20 minute walk to the Bryggen area, this hotel boasts a great location. As it's a self-check-in hotel, the price point is very reasonable, making it perfectly adequate if you just need a place to sleep. It's clean, and even though it's self-check-in, you still see hotel staff around. I used the porter service for a fjord tour, and my luggage was properly stored in the baggage room."

Being a chain hotel, it generally feels reliable. The room size was decent, but the space wasn't utilized effectively. There was no mini-fridge, no kettle, no phone, and no desk. The hygiene was good. Breakfast was alright, though not particularly lavish."

However, I encountered a small issue upon arrival, and I'm incredibly grateful to a tall male hotel staff member for his enthusiastic assistance. The service was truly five-star, and I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Bergen."

"The hotel is about a 13-minute walk from the train station, and its location is excellent! Right across the street is the fish market, which is super convenient if you want to try some fresh local food. Plus, it's only a 10-minute walk to the Bryggen UNESCO World Heritage site! It's a bit pricey, but I'd definitely recommend this Scandic hotel chain."

"They clearly don't have enough hair dryers in stock, and there's no strict return policy. I had to wait twenty minutes to get one, and even then, I had to pay a deposit for it. When they refunded the deposit, they did it in NOK, which ended up costing me money."

The result was that we had to go down the stairs on the third floor. It was too inconvenient for us to carry the big box. Although the breakfast is not many varieties, the quality is very good."

The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic. What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century."

"Great stay! The room very neat and clean. The hotel was easy to locate and well situated. The lounge area was very nice and even had free coffee. That was the best. Walking 3 flights of stairs with a heavy bad was a bit challenge after a long flight. All in all, great stay!"
