"The first image shows the entrance. It was a bit hard to find at first, but you open it by turning the handle. The doorknob is right where the person is standing. The room was relatively clean, but as you can see in the fifth photo, there's a gap under the door, so bugs were quite common. I'm not sure if they were mosquitoes or bed bugs, but I got bitten in three places in the room on the first night. I didn't get bitten after the second day, so maybe they weren't bed bugs...? There was a power outage from late on the first night (the lights worked, but plug-in items like phone chargers and fans stopped working). Since there was no air conditioning, the fan stopped, and it was hot and humid due to the rain. There were no power outages on the second day onwards. For breakfast, you could choose from about four different side dishes. The menu varied slightly each day. Milk tea and coffee were available, as well as bread, yogurt, and fruit. While the bugs and power outages were a bit of a bummer at times, we got fresh water every day, and most importantly, there were super friendly cats, which alone made it a fantastic stay. They were seriously adorable and often meowed near the room."

"The hotel offers an airport pick-up service (fee: 20 USD), which requires one day's advance notice. It's about a 15-minute drive from the airport. The hotel lobby is bright and spacious, and the front desk staff are polite. The room matched the pictures, with plenty of space and wooden furniture, giving it a warm feel. The bathroom was clean, and while the shower pressure was a bit weak, it was acceptable. Breakfast is served from 7-10 AM, and it's a buffet with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, convenient for vegetarians. The hotel's service is truly excellent. If you have any issues, just ask, and the staff are very happy to help and are proactively attentive."

"I booked the hotel because I wanted to stay close to Buddha Stupa in Boudhanath and this is by far my best experience in Kathmandu. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to the Stupa, but very quiet and private. There is an old monastery inside the hotel, and part of the profit from the hotel goes to support the monks in monastery. Morning yoga session is 8am to 9am led by a monk, but I always slept in so couldn’t make it (my fault!). Breakfast was delicious and I highly recommend the puri with potatoes and beans fillings. The hotel manager and staffs are very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which made the stay even more pleasant. Thank you all, it’s been a great experience staying Hotel Dolmaling. I would definitely come back here the next time I’m in Nepal!"

"The staff are very committed to communicating with their guests. They contacted me several times to ask for my arrival time. However, I was very busy at the time and contacted them while enroute to the property. They sprung into action and met me there without hesitation. The property is good. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was fully functioning. The bathroom had ample hot water. There are lovely plants in the.living room and bedroom. The Wifi connectioni was very reliable. My phone charged quickly. The only challenge was the narrow passage to the building that accommodates foot and motorcycles traffic. The second being the towels that did not smell fresh. Other than that, I enjoyed my short time there."

"This isn't my first time staying at this hotel. The service is simply unparalleled – every time, you feel like the MOST important guest, especially in the restaurant. The chef personally asks how you enjoyed the food and is ready to accommodate any guest requests. The food is DIVINE. The only thing missing is more meat options besides chicken and lamb. The room is spotless; there isn't even a trace of water spots on the bathroom fixtures or glass. The internet is excellent and FAST. Complimentary airport transfer is a great perk. You can also turn on the AC for heating in the room. After the spartan conditions in Lukla, this feels like the Metropol!"

"The hotel is located in the Boudhanath Stupa area, where tourists have to pay 400 Nepalese rupees to enter. The hotel restaurant terrace offers a great view of the stupa."

"Baudha Apart Hotel The Air is much cleaner at these heights. A lovely view to be seen from the roof top upon the city down below. There is a room up there, for yoga, for exercise, or meditation. An elevator takes you there, but you can climb the stairs, if you wish, especially to prepare for a mountain trek – there is an ample storage room in that regard. Boudha Apart is owned by a Sherpa family, originally from Lukla, so there are many good contacts with the high mountain community. The hotel is fairly new, and that means nothing is broken. That is to say also, that it is well maintained, that the guests are not a rowdy sort, and they are mindful of each other's tranquility. The rooms are well thought out, and many have a sun facing balcony. Both sink and shower have abundant hot water, adjustable as you like. On the ground floor is a large restaurant, with a diverse menu of local cuisine, and western comfort foods. The basement is a parking garage for cars and bikes. The staff is of good cheer, and supportive of your adventures and plans. They, most conveniently, pick up and deliver to the airport. There is also a car and driver for various tours, as you will. And finally to say, the price to value is most fair, as one compares to other hotels in the region."
