Nestled in a valley just 20 minutes from Queenstown, this hidden gem is a hidden gem. The hotel rooms are very fancy, and there's even an open-air bathtub, an indoor swimming pool, and a spa. The value for money is truly excellent. Highly recommended!

The service at this hotel was excellent; the staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was the best, most varied, and most delicious we'd had since Christchurch. It seems the hotel is undergoing renovations, as there was a distinct smell of paint in the hallway, though the room itself was fine. The front desk is located by the lake, but the navigation system hasn't been updated yet. We arrived around 6 PM after dark, and the navigation led us to the street behind the hotel's old building. The hotel lobby offers complimentary wine, chocolates, and cookies at different times throughout the day, which was lovely to enjoy after an afternoon walk. However, there's one facility that definitely needs upgrading: the shower water pressure was extremely weak, and the water temperature was very unstable—either lukewarm or suddenly scalding hot. Overall, showering was very uncomfortable. Aside from the shower, everything else about the hotel was very satisfying 👍

The handsome men and beautiful women at the front desk genuinely and sincerely helped guests with their questions and needs. My three-night stay was truly fantastic! The rooftop offers stunning mountain and lake views, and the cozy fireplace makes you feel like you're in a secluded paradise. Getting around is super convenient. After leaving Queenstown Airport, you only need to walk about 100 meters to find the #1 public transport bus. Remember to buy a transport card at the airport bookstore beforehand; it's very convenient and cheap, especially if you're traveling alone or with one other person. One card is all you need. To get to this hotel (Leloo Hotel), take the bus from the airport. After about 20 minutes, get off at Stanley Street, which is a major transport hub, just a 4-minute walk from the hotel. You'll know it's the right stop because it's at the bottom of a big downhill road, with a large park on your right. The bus stops are conveniently divided into A, B, and C sections. Getting to Arrowtown only takes 25 minutes and costs 2.5 New Zealand dollars. There are many popular, Instagrammable shops nearby, like Fergburger. Even if you're vegetarian, don't worry, they all have Chinese menus.

This is my first time staying at a hostel as I always stay in hotels when I travel but NZ is way out of my budget to get a hotel for 8 days of stay. I am surprised that there is free basic spices if you opt to cook and you should to save money and they also have free spread for your sandwiches you can use and free coffee. Free bodywash by the hostel and you can also use the conditioner and other shampoos that other guests left when they check-out for fr e. They also have charger you can borrow. The 4square grocery is very close like 2-3 min walking distance and other restaurants. I have 8 days so I am staying here in Haka house Queenstown, the on in mount cook ( which doesn’t have all these free spices and I think because how far grocery store is) and my last remaining days I will try Haka by the lake front. I don’t have hostel pics so sharing with you my view from Queenstown Hill viewpoint.

Newer than the other Wyndham, and very close to the airport. There's a Thai restaurant and a Malaysian restaurant nearby, and you can walk to a Chinese and an Asian supermarket. The kitchen is fully equipped for making simple meals. If there's traffic, it takes about half an hour to drive to Queenstown.

Stayed at Ramada by Wyndham Queenstown and overall the hotel itself was quite nice. The location was very convenient and made it easy to get around Queenstown and access everything nearby. The room was comfortable, however housekeeping was disappointing during our stay. Towels were never changed and the toilet paper wasn’t refilled; it seemed like the only thing being done each day was the bed being made. I also asked for some assistance and advice on getting to the Highlands Motorsport Museum, but unfortunately staff weren’t very helpful with that either. The hotel has good potential because of its location and rooms, but service and attention to detail definitely need improvement.

I booked this hotel because I had an early 7 AM flight. It's easily accessible from Queenstown via bus route 1, and bus route 3 takes you to a supermarket near the airport, which is super convenient. I had originally planned to walk to the airport (about a 20-minute walk), but I easily caught a taxi at 5 AM for 20 NZD. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive, especially a lady with a French accent. The front desk closes after 8 PM, but you can self-check-in/out with a key card. The room itself was well-equipped, thoughtfully laid out, clean, and tidy, with kitchen facilities and a washing machine.

The location is excellent, right by the lake in Queenstown's town center. You can take a bus from the airport to Blue Peaks, then it's about a five-minute walk. The hotel itself is quite old, and the facilities are pretty basic. The breakfast wasn't great either, and the restaurant environment isn't very appealing. I'd recommend booking without breakfast; for the same price, you'd be better off getting brunch at a cafe by the lake. Most of the hotel staff, however, were very warm and friendly.

Pros: The room and common areas are quite spacious. It has a bed curtain, and the location is decent, not far from the lake and the Intercity bus stop. Cons: It's not on the main street (below Skyline), so it gets a bit dark when walking back at night.

Great location, nice staff and clean room service. The facilities are quite old, not that solid bed, the sockets are quite away from your bed, the lockers are mini and some of them are broken. But the toilet and bathroom are separate, which is useful in busy time. It is kind of noisy but my ear plugs works. This is not a problem for me. So it could be a good choice if location is important for you.
