CCB TravelsWe had an amazing stay! The camp was brand new and very clean. The beach sand was so soft! We want to thank Joey, the wonderful and attentive Camp Cayla staff who made our stay great. As soon as we arrived he arranged everything according to what we liked. He asked us if we wanted to rent a scooter which we choose to do and he organised everything! In the middle of the night we didn’t know how to turn the aircon off (we were holding it too far away) and he was at our door within a few minutes and showed us how to turn it off. He was always on-site and took care of us well! The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. There were some small ants but that’s expected. We had insect spray so it was fine.
Negatives: The property is not fenced so there lots of dogs that come very close, this maybe an issue for people that have a fear of dogs or if there’s small children playing around. The bar/ restaurant/ reception area is not ready yet, there is no where to buy food close by.

Guest UserAksorn Rayong The Vitality Collection is a refreshing, highly photogenic escape on the quiet shores of Mae Phim Beach, masterfully blending traditional Thai folklore aesthetics with a modern wellness concept. The resort stands out for its bold, neo-classical design weaving vibrant royal blues and classic Thai motifs into stylish, comfortable rooms and its serene beachfront pool that feels worlds away from the chaotic crowds of Pattaya. While the area lacks a bustling nightlife scene and the open-concept bathrooms in some rooms may compromise privacy, it is an exceptional, value-for-money retreat for couples and design lovers looking to recharge with great spa treatments, fresh local seafood, and peaceful coastal views.

Hello. We stayed for three days. We checked in promptly at 3:00 PM. The pool was cold. The apartment layout is comfortable, but the soundproofing is very poor. On the 8th floor, you can hear dogs and loud, strange noises all night long. It sounds like someone is walking around and slamming doors. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. Having two bathrooms is also a plus. Overall, it was okay.

Andy CageThis is my go to hotel when I'm in this area of Thailand. The location is perfect for the beach and all amenities and close to lots of fabulous restaurants. The staff have always been kind and friendly and answer any questions you may have. The rooms are spacious, clean and of a high standard.
I will definitely be staying there again when I am in the area.

BewaraNovotel Rayong Rim Pae is located right on the beach. The beach is lovely, and the sea is clear. The service is good, and breakfast is decent – perhaps not a huge selection, but it has everything you need. The room was clean, a bit older but overall fine and good value for money. There are three swimming pools, making it a great hotel for families with kids.

Guest UserI was impressed from the moment I arrived. The hotel's location is great, and all the staff were kind, polite, and service-minded. The hotel layout is well-designed; the walk to the room had a subtle, relaxing fragrance. Inside, the room design was excellent and clean, with a soft bed and pillows. Most importantly, the soundproof windows worked perfectly. Even with children playing in the pool outside, no noise leaked in, making it ideal for a peaceful and quiet rest.
My only minor complaint would be about the breakfast restaurant, which required a short drive to reach, but the beachfront dining view was fantastic.

Guest UserFacilities: The hotel is quite old. The breakfast spread was generous.
Cleanliness: Decent, though the floor in room 610 was warped. I didn't take any photos.
Ambiance: The environment is very good.
Service: Okay, but I felt like Chinese guests were treated differently. The staff would proactively offer water to guests from other countries, but I had to ask for it myself.

Guest UserThe hotel is tired, but there's plenty of greenery. The pool is nice, cozy, beautiful, and deep. The kids dived in. We stayed in a family room, which is large, with beds separated by a partition. The TV had poor reception, and the WiFi was poor. There's no hairdryer, so you have to ask at reception. There's also no safe in the room.
Breakfast is average. The hotel is mostly frequented by older couples, and there are practically no Russians.
There's a 7/11 on both sides, a cafe opposite the hotel on the shore, and an Italian restaurant to the right of the hotel.
The sea is warm, very clean, and practically deserted! There are sun loungers opposite the 7/11 on the right for 30 baht, and on the other side for 50 baht. Water activities for children and adults include inflatables, banana boats, and water sports. Water activities cost 200 baht per person.
Overall, the hotel left a good impression! The nearest currency exchange office is 20 km away.

It takes no more than 15 minutes by speedboat from the mainland to reach this private island. The accommodation is generally better than the average for small island resorts like this. The beds and towels were clean, unlike many places where they're old and yellowed. I stayed one night in a dome house and one night in a bungalow. The dome house was unique and newer, which was nice, but it got incredibly hot and unbearable when there was no electricity. The bungalow, however, had a cool sea breeze blowing through it constantly. The beach on the west side had some trash, so I'd recommend swimming on the east side. The lady who manages the island is super kind and friendly. Overall, I was impressed. It's perfect for a truly relaxing getaway.

The hotel is dated and does need updated. But if you’re realistic with what you can expect from a $80/night and a clean, peaceful quiet private beach, this hotel is a very good one.
They are definitely short of staff for the high season. But they try very hard to make things comfortable for you. They fixed the fridge door and bought back in an hour. The front desk staff helped carrying bags and deliver yo your door. They all did extra works.
Breakfast is sufficient and up to standard. Thai selections are quite tasty though. Lunch and dinner menus have considerable variety of Thai (more) and Western (less).
Simple restaurants close by but if you have cravings for fancier Western food, it’s 40 minutes away. A good location if you have a car.
