Mixed feelings for this accommodation. While it is located fairly conveniently near Taksim Square, Istiklal Street, and the metro station, this place, like many guesthouses around, is located in an area with narrow streets making car pick ups and drop offs (eg, to and from airport) a little inconvenient. Walking to the hotel also involves a hilly stretch- to be borne in mind if you have elderly in your travel party.
Staff at front desk were professional, responded to requests quickly. There was ni room service provided in the 4 nights we stayed, though place is generally clean. Some amenities were broken - large cracks in toilet bowl, hairdryer would always go off halfway. And the worst part about room 102 which we booked was that it was adjacent to the reception desk and staff toilet, meaning every interaction and use of toilet could be heard loud and clear in the room - the be considered if you are a light sleeper or don't like noise.
No breakfast offered but a lot of eateries in the area offering breakfast.

In Element Garden 4 days in April 2025, a family of 4.
The room is a full apartment, 2 rooms, a small kitchen, a bathroom. We took it with breakfast included.
Not a buffet, they bring a ready-made Turkish breakfast snacks + pancakes + omelet + tea / coffee. It was enough for us.
1. Clean. The hotel is simple, small, but quite cozy.
The main thing is that the hotel is clean, not smelly, not smoke-filled.
Not a bug-infested place, like some hotels in Istanbul. We do not smoke and I can't stand tobacco smoke, there were no foreign odors here.
The description and photo correspond to reality. The room is clean, ventilated. The floor was washed, not perfect, but washed.
Bed linen, clean.
I like to walk barefoot at home, I pay special attention to cleanliness. Here you can walk barefoot)) although there were disposable slippers in the room.
2. Silence. The hotel is in a quiet place. No noise from the street is heard, the sounds of the mosque are not heard
It is comfortable to sleep. We came across quiet tourists-neighbors from different countries. We did not hear anyone in particular, this is very good.
At the same time, 5 minutes walk and you are on Istiklal. Grocery stores, a delicious pastry shop Olimpia are around the corner.
Curtains - on all windows are thick, with good darkening.
3. Good Wi-Fi, the room has a table and chairs. I worked on vacation, so I was comfortable here.
4. The room has a kettle and even a teapot, which is rare. We love freshly brewed tea, not from bags, so we used it with pleasure.
There is a hair dryer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.
There are disposable slippers, a shoehorn, a safe. There are batteries and air conditioning. We were there in a cold, chilly time - the room was warm.
We didn't cook, but there are utensils for cooking in the kitchen, even a couple of pots and a frying pan.
The knives are terribly dull as usual. But we sharpened the knife and oiled the doors, I don't like squeaky ones))))) room 203) use it))
Overall, good value for money. I would come here again.

Very modern hotel, good location. The rooms are small but modern. There isn't enough closet space for clothes, and no kettle or complimentary tea in the room, unlike many other hotels. Tea costs 100 lira per cup. Breakfasts are standard: eggs, omelets, vegetables, cheese, cereal, pastries – nothing special. The lights are motion-activated, which meant the light sometimes came on at night if you just shifted your duvet))). We only stayed two nights, so it was fine.

The environment is quite nice. The front desk lady doesn't speak English but she's very enthusiastic and always greets you with a smile. The location is right next to Independence Square, very close to the Taksim Tunnel bus station, just a 3-minute walk. The hotel has been operating for 25 years, so all the facilities are new. Although the air conditioning in the first room we were assigned wasn't cooling well, the lady immediately changed our room when she found out. The service attitude is excellent. However, a deposit is required, which needs to be paid in cash (Euros) at the front desk.

Great
GGuest UserPerfect location for everything we walked everywhere as the main attractions and bazaars were within 5 mins walking. Left was Hagia Sofia. Palace etc, right were bazaars...straight down was the sea. The hotel was lovely, and breakfast had everything I liked and more. The view from the top was amazing; you could see all across Istanbul.
Our room was very clean, and we even had soothing music in the bathroom, which was a really nice touch.
I gave 4 stars for amenities because although the hotel has a spa, I was really hoping for a hammam experience and unfortunately it was mixed. If they offered an hour or even part of the day for ladies only, this hotel would be an absolute winner.
One small downside was that our taxi couldn’t drop us off or pick us up directly outside the hotel, so we had to walk about 3 minutes.
That said, the area felt very safe we walked out at 10pm as two women and felt completely comfortable. There’s even a police station right opposite the hotel!
Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is a bit far from the Old Town, and the room was on the small side. However, it was very clean and provided disposable slippers. They offer free parking and the breakfast is purely Western, with limited variety but enough to fill you up. The price isn't particularly cheap.
LLibukaidechenghuaThe rooms were, as always, very comfortable, and the bathroom system was excellent. The hotel view was also beautiful, especially from the breakfast restaurant, in the innermost corner, where you can see the strait – truly a delightful breakfast experience. If I had to pick a downside, it would be the surprisingly strict security check to enter The Ritz-Carlton in Istanbul, where both people and bags have to be scanned! I later found out that many diplomats stay here… so… you get it. The hotel provided various chocolates, as shown in the picture. The toiletries cost 45 Euros per bottle if you take them home, but you can use them freely inside the hotel. There were many old maps of Istanbul in the hallway, and my child spent a long time studying them with great interest.
WWoshibaoherongyeLet me break down my review:
**Pros:**
1. The staff were excellent. They were proactive in their communication, and every time I returned, they'd actively stand up and greet me with a ”HOW ARE YOU.”
2. The front desk staff were also very helpful when I asked for directions.
3. The room was clean, the carpet showed no signs of dirt, and after cleaning, they would spray a fragrance, so there were no unpleasant odors.
4. We arrived an hour early, and they allowed us to check in after waiting just 20 minutes.
**Cons:**
1. The toilet seat was broken. I was already very tired, and since we had checked in early, I didn't ask for a room change. However, it was really inconvenient because it moved around while I was using it.
2. The complimentary drinking water provided was just a small cup; other hotels usually offer bottled water.
3. The curtains were too narrow and couldn't close properly (you can see in the pictures). I even had to pull and stick them together myself, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to sleep well (as I'm sensitive to light).
4. There's a house renovation project going on downstairs, and there was a lot of noise even at 10:30 PM. Closing the window helped a lot, but it was still loud. So, if you don't like noisy city areas, be aware ⚠️.
5. The breakfast was the simplest I've had in Turkey. As you can see in the pictures, the egg pancake was an extra charge, so I didn't order it. But it might have been really cheap, which explains it.
Overall, while the price was affordable, when you're traveling, you truly realize how important comfort is once you've stayed somewhere. So, next time, I will choose a place with a better environment.
GGuest UserThe location is a bit out of the way, not near the bustling Hagia Sophia or Istiklal Avenue. The main issue was that we arrived at 3 AM. During check-in, we confirmed with the front desk that we needed a smoking room. However, after the lobby boy led us to the room, he told us smoking wasn't allowed. We had to call the front desk again to clarify, wasting another 15 minutes in back-and-forth communication. Ultimately, we had to compromise and switch rooms. Plus, my parents' room wasn't even on the same floor as mine.
However, I'm very grateful for the bellhop's help and detailed explanations. It's a shame we arrived at the airport too late that day and didn't have cash for a tip.
AA.Twiceit was fantastic weekend. We came for concert, but found this district very cute: a lot of specialty caffès, local cousine, friendly people.
Waiter helped us to schedule our last day – we left our bag on reception and went for lovely walk before went to the airport.
Place is nice, restaurant on 5th floor where we had a good breakfast, also has a nice view. Will be back ;)
NNztommyI met the kindest and nicest host while staying in Istanbul.
They even upgraded my room and made my check-in time 2 hours earlier, and they welcomed me warmly.
This was the first time I felt kindness among the Turkish people I met for 4 days.
The room was also nice. The water pressure was strong! The room was really spacious.
AAnonymous UserThe room was nice, but there's a mosque nearby, so it got a bit noisy in the mornings. The breakfast was really bad, but the hygiene and environment were decent. The main issue was that many of the staff didn't speak English, which made communication difficult.
