My second time booking this hotel. Near taksim and istikal street.
A bit of walking to the hotel but since it is the end of winter, you don't feel the heat and the road starts busy at 11am onwards.
Booked a budget room but got upgraded to a standard room. Thank you!
My tips: Take the risk of booking the room near to the travel date (if it is not a peak season) if not opt for refundable booking if you see price change (cheaper) then you have the option to do new booking.
Breakfast is almost the same for 2 nights here. But since we are asian, we don't mind the food much. More cheese and healthy version.
Room similar as website just that our cupboard is broken. Not sure which shampoo and body soap as the bottle is the same one..

So the guy I was texting with was very friendly and very communicative and always said he had a friend coming. We stayed in the basement and it was more of an apartment building. No lobby no nothing, but not that big of an issue with that. Our issues came from the actual ammentities. We had issue with out heater that we were able to figure out. But the reason why this is getting such a low score was due to the hot water heater. Our shower in the basement got warm enough to be 20°C which was unfortunate for the winter and the missus. We mentioned it to them and they sent someone and he wasn't super helpful. The location was great the communication was okay. But no shower for hot water really ruined the experience and the way it was handled was not up to our standards.

This is a wonderful hotel, offering excellent value for money. The location is a perfect 10/10, which is its main advantage. But beyond that, the hotel staff are very customer-oriented and always ready to help quickly. Housekeeping was daily, and the room was always clean. They also replenished complimentary water, coffee/tea, etc., every day. The breakfast at the hotel was good too, with a decent selection and tasty food. Plus, we had a pretty nice view from our window!

The hotel's location is truly magnificent; all the main historical sites are close by, within walking distance or a couple of tram stops. The bed linen and the room are clean, and they clean well. The towels definitely need replacing; they're very faded. The room is warm, and there's a refrigerator, kettle, and tea making facilities. There's no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room; bring your own or buy them on site. There's a store 5 meters away where you can buy everything you need. The breakfast is average, but there are no dairy products at all. There are vegetables, cheeses, ham and sausage, eggs, omelets, and various salads. The coffee, which comes from a drip coffee machine, is tasteless. There are buns, bread, and muffins. You can eat your fill, but there's not much for children. I went nearby for burgers for my son. The reception staff is helpful and explain things well. Overall, I'd give it a 4. A few minor improvements would have made it perfect. Overall, if I were to go to the center of Istanbul, I'd definitely go there again.

To be fair, I'd like to point out that this is a very budget-friendly hotel, and if you're looking for a cheap stay in a good location near Istiklal, this is the place for you. Below are the subjective pros and cons:

- Smart TV, good hairdryer, refrigerator

- Pleasant receptionist
Cons:
- A beautiful balcony is a dump! Why do this 🤯
- Cold room
- Steep stairs, difficult to climb, but that's not really a negative, more of a warning.
- Dirty, poorly cleaned. Upon check-in, crumbs were found on the furniture, and the mirror was completely smudged.
- Broken shower door, difficult to close.
- The room itself was very tired, but that can be overlooked given the price.
- We encountered rudeness from the owner.
(We contacted the hotel via chat well in advance to check if we could leave our bags early in the morning. We arrived at a certain time and let them know, but no one opened the door. We walked around with heavy bags for about an hour and a half, until the owner finally opened the door and very nervously, almost aggressively, tried to prove to us that all hotels in the world check guests in at 2 p.m. (For a second, we didn't ask to be checked in, we asked to leave our bags). We ended up leaving our bags, but it felt unpleasant to be yelled at.)

It was a great experience. The location, cleanliness, breakfast everything was great. I was scared because of some of the comments I saw on internet but everything was perfect, the staff was lovely and locationwise it was exactly what I looked for. I'll definitely stay again when I visit Istanbul.

Из плюсов: свежий ремонт, удобное расположение на хорошей улице, рядом много ресторанов, недалеко до торговой, нашумевшей улице Истикляль, при этом на улице по ночам тихо.
Из минусов: очень тонкие стены и очень шумно когда люди выходят из номеров на завтрак, либо разговаривают (все очень слышно). Дело в том, что в номерах стоят двери с доводчиками и когда выходишь из номера, двери сильно захлопываются и шум очень сильный, что кровать трясет. Мой вывод таков: если вы жаворонок и встаете на завтрак , то вас смущать не будет, я же в отпуске не смогла поспать даже до 9-10 утра, начиная с 7:30 все шли на завтрак и эти шумы завершались к 12 дня.
Также уборка посредственная, за неделю пребывания постельное не сменили, меняют полотенца лишь. Влажную не делали.
Выберу ли я отель снова? Думаю для себя нет, посоветую ? Возможно, но не факт. Да, он красивый, хорошее расположение, но слишком шумно внутри, к сожалению внешняя красота не смогла затмить чувства некомфорта и тишины.
Отмечу - Персонал замечательный!

Great staff, good value, but breakfast and noise could be better
The staff was very friendly. Especially the housekeeping staff – he always asked if we needed new towels and every day if we wanted our room cleaned. So I don’t understand the negative reviews about cleanliness at all.
Location and value for money were great. It’s a safe area for women, right by Taksim Square. There are some areas nearby that don’t feel as safe, but around the hotel there were lots of hotels, restaurants, small minimarkets, exchange offices, and the metro and bus are within walking distance. The Havabus stop is only a 5-minute walk away, which is another big plus.
What we didn’t like:
The breakfast was very repetitive – it was the same every day, and we stayed 8 nights. Also, the doors are quite thin, so you can hear other guests and the cleaning staff early in the morning. The rooms could be better equipped – two bedside tables instead of one, and a proper desk would help.
Overall: We were very satisfied apart from the last two points. We would stay here again.

It’s ok for those who is only thinking about sleep at night but nothing else.They moved us from our first existing room to the other small room for an excuse that they will do some work on the room but the very next day or the immediate day we don’t even know there is another guest apparently came.we paid for bigger room but end up in a small bedroom which was not fair.Power plug has no electricity, walls are cracked all the amenity is way too old I feel like I am living in a musium.However I got what I paid for and that’s how I can convince myself.Thank you Turkey and will see u next time.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic three-day stay at this hotel in December with my parents. The location is excellent: within walking distance of the main attractions, and although it’s situated near the Grand Bazaar, it’s surprisingly quiet.
The hotel is very clean, and we were kindly upgraded to a Triple Deluxe room after the air conditioner in our original room wasn’t strong enough. The upgraded room was spacious, bright, and spotless.
We chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant every evening because the food quality was outstanding, and Ozgur took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. Having access to the spa included in the price was an amazing bonus. Our daily routine was perfect — sightseeing until around 8–8:30 pm, relaxing at the spa until 10 pm, and then enjoying dinner at the restaurant with a breathtaking Bosphorus view until midnight. It was incredibly relaxing.
The staff were all exceptionally friendly, breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant view is truly stunning. We especially appreciated that on our first night, when we arrived at the restaurant close to midnight, we were still able to order a full meal without any issue.
Overall, a truly memorable and relaxing stay — we would happily return and have already recommended the hotel to friends

Small Note

The staff were so helpful and friendly and the hotel is located in walking distance to a beautiful palace and art gallery, as well as the tram which gives easy access to the attractions of the city. GGuest UserThe location is a bit out of the way, not near the bustling Hagia Sophia or Istiklal Avenue. The main issue was that we arrived at 3 AM. During check-in, we confirmed with the front desk that we needed a smoking room. However, after the lobby boy led us to the room, he told us smoking wasn't allowed. We had to call the front desk again to clarify, wasting another 15 minutes in back-and-forth communication. Ultimately, we had to compromise and switch rooms. Plus, my parents' room wasn't even on the same floor as mine.
However, I'm very grateful for the bellhop's help and detailed explanations. It's a shame we arrived at the airport too late that day and didn't have cash for a tip.

AA.Twiceit was fantastic weekend. We came for concert, but found this district very cute: a lot of specialty caffès, local cousine, friendly people.
Waiter helped us to schedule our last day – we left our bag on reception and went for lovely walk before went to the airport.
Place is nice, restaurant on 5th floor where we had a good breakfast, also has a nice view. Will be back ;)

They even upgraded my room and made my check-in time 2 hours earlier, and they welcomed me warmly.
This was the first time I felt kindness among the Turkish people I met for 4 days.
The room was also nice. The water pressure was strong! The room was really spacious.

AAkif.My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim .
