"The hotel room was a bit dated, but it was generally clean. The air conditioning unit in the room was quite noisy, and the breakfast selection was rather limited."
"Its proximity to the Holland Tunnel and the six nearby gas stations makes it very convenient for drivers. It's a 10-15 minute walk to either Newport or Hoboken station, both offering PATH train services to Manhattan. There's a Target store close by, and the hotel's breakfast is simple but decent. Rooms are kept clean, and coin-operated communal washers and dryers are available; just remember to bring your own detergent, as laundry facilities can get busy after dinner and during breakfast. Whenever we had issues, the hotel staff were responsive and actively resolved them. Overall, for our two-week trip to New York, it offered great value for money."
"I enjoyed my stay here, but for me, if you have big luggage, this is not an ideal place to stay. It’s hard to open your luggage in the room because it’s too small. I think this accommodation is better for interstate trips or if you’re trying to save money—you can still manage though.
I also thought all floors had a hair dryer, especially the women’s floor where I stayed, but there wasn’t any. The rest was okay.
Just be prepared that there is no elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage upstairs."
"The overall hotel experience was acceptable. The location is convenient, transportation is decent, and getting around is reasonably easy. The check-in process was smooth, with decent front desk service and a reasonable processing speed. The room was a good size and equipped with basic amenities, meeting most daily needs. Sanitary conditions were generally acceptable, with no significant issues, and the bedding was clean and tidy. The air conditioning and hot water functioned normally, without any major malfunctions. The soundproofing was average, and noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms could be heard occasionally. The breakfast was average; the selection wasn't extensive, but it was filling. Overall, the stay was a pleasant one, with no particular strengths or weaknesses. It's suitable for travelers with modest accommodation requirements."
"Very satisfied with this stay! From booking to leaving the store, every link makes people feel comfortable.
• Excellent location: The hotel has an excellent location, convenient transportation, and convenient eating and shopping around.
• Warm service: The front desk staff smiled and checked in quickly and efficiently. The concierge took the initiative to help with the luggage, very intimate.
• The room is clean: the room is spotless, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the sound insulation effect is very good, and the night sleeps very well."
"This place is a hidden gem. It is very close to Newport station and takes less than an hour to reach main attractions in NYC. When we checked in, Harry was extremely helpful. He not only greeted us well and, but also came out of his desk to show us the path to go to Newport station. He also shared a guide map copy of the location. Breakfast is in downstairs in front of reception with 4 seating inside and more outside patio. There is couple of sweets options with juices, yogurt, coffees and fruits. If you are visiting from UK, you might find portion size is a bit big. The room is quite spacious. We took a king room. Although housekeeping is on request, they cleaned our room on the second day, which we were not prepared for."
"Service 1-like sound insulation 11111111111
The only cockroach is that the price can be slightly reasonable.
Large room size, kitchenware, kitchen suitable for cooking"
"The stay is awesome. There is 24/7 pantry with hot water dispenser, hot tea/ coffee for hotel guest. Breakfast is good with decent variety. There is a shuttle that you can pay for to go to town (include return trip) which makes it very convenient."
"First time staying in New Jersey, great location opposite ferry terminal however noisy. The best thing was the view over the city, great sunrise and watching lights go, even watched fireworks 2 nights. Second best thing was good size room, big bed and sofa.
Sadly the bathroom had shower over tub very poor water flow, tub not deeper enough, asked reception if we could change room as staying 7 nights need separate shower and bath was told would not get any view, I asked if could see room so I could make sure shower better than one had was told NO.
Other disappointing things - light switch on wall when enter not work, had to go round turning lamps on individually also next to bed no control switch had to turn on quite tricky, also no plugs or charging next to bed had to charge phone across room. Decor very dated, no fridge, safe worked well. The slamming of doors was awful, also walls very thin.
Best place to eat just a short walk to the chart restaurant, amazing views, staff, food and drinks. Also So Thai very good. The whole food supermarket has everything you need except wine."
"The room was very comfortable and quiet. As New York's traffic is often congested, you need to take a taxi to get to the city center and go through the tunnel, which takes some time, ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. There are supermarkets, coffee shops, and an outlet nearby. But it's not very popular."

Amazing
GGuest UserWe booked a suite that included a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking. There's a desk that's great for studying. The sofa is a pull-out bed, so it can sleep two more people. The room is very new, and the internet is quite fast. Within walking distance of the hotel, you'll find Whole Foods, CVS, and several Chinese restaurants. The area around the hotel is a residential neighborhood and feels very safe. It's also a short walk to the PATH station, offering direct access to the World Trade Center or 33rd Street, which is super convenient for getting to Lower and Midtown Manhattan. We feel that staying here offers great value for money.
DDhaval_VyasExcellent location, right next to PATH station, which in ~20 min gets you to the Times square or WTC. Rooms are very spacious, area around is great. There are shopping centres, Target, etc near by. Riverside walk, which is less than 100 meters from the hotel, turned out to be our daily affair as it provided a beautiful night scene of the Downton NYC skyline.
IIce tangVery comfortable and spacious room with a view of the Hudson River, directly facing Manhattan's charming city skyline. The PATH station is right outside the hotel, and it's just one stop to the World Trade Center. Much better value for money than staying in Manhattan. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit New York.
GGuest UserThe room we checked in did not prepared well. The sink is clogged and no power supply for coffee maker. However, they did change a new room for us. Good for the backup. Nothing to complain.
BBokexiCame here on a business trip. It's ten minutes away from Newark Airport, which is very convenient. If you take a flight at Kennedy Airport, it's about an hour's drive away. It's excellent in all aspects and I will stay here again next time.
AAIjojoThe hotel conveniently located next to PATH train which connects to lower Manhattan area. The position also very nice as you can enjoy the Manhattan skyline as soon as you exit the hotel. Staff very friendly & accommodating. The room simple but clean, bed also comfortable. Breakfast included with the room which is a plus! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a budget stay.
GGuest UserThere is a kitchen for cooking, with two electric stoves, the one against the wall has a stronger firepower, and the location is good, just on the other side of Manhattan, and it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the Hudson River. It seems that there are many Chinese students living in this area. There is a path subway downstairs, which is very convenient to go to the World Trade Center and Midtown Manhattan. There is a supermarket downstairs, and there is a monkey father and son within a ten-minute walk. The overall price is cheaper than that in Manhattan. For example, the buffet in Manhattan is $13.99 per pound, and this one is $11.99 per pound. There is a Chinese restaurant called Da Sichuan more than 200 meters away, which is moderately priced, tastes good, and has large portions.
GGuest UserWould definitely recommend this hotel for it's convenient location, within 5 mins walk of Newport Path station and nice neighbourhood. Easy to get to and from Manhattan without the price tag of more central hotels.
Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious and perfect for a family stay with children. All the staff were friendly and helpful and it was nice to come back to a refreshed, clean and tidy room after a long day of sightseeing.
GGuest UserThe location is a bit biased, going to New York to go to the toll booth, it seems to be 20 knives. The hotel has free parking, good health and breakfast. Two queen beds, very spacious.
