"I really have to praise the owner's exchange rate! This is the first time I've encountered a hotel owner who proactively offered to help exchange cash at a great rate, with no hidden catches. Plus, the owner himself is super reliable and helps solve all sorts of problems. I definitely give this fellow-countryman's hotel a five-star recommendation!"
"The front desk staff were warm and professional, and could speak Chinese. Check-in was efficient, and they proactively introduced the hotel facilities and surrounding information, making me feel right at home the moment I arrived. Plus, the housekeeping auntie kept the room very clean every day!"
"I am very grateful for the opportunity to stay at this wonderful hotel for three nights. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. I informed them that I would be arriving late for check-in, and he kindly reassured me that it would not be a problem and that the staff would be there to assist me.
The room was very clean, and the bed was incredibly soft, allowing me to have a very comfortable and restful sleep. The ambiance of the hotel was great, the bathroom was modern and well-maintained, and the kitchen was clean and fully equipped. It had bowls, plates, forks, spoons, mugs for coffee, cookware, and even an induction stove. Although I didn’t cook during my stay, I truly appreciated having everything available.
The balcony was amazing, the hotel lobby smelled pleasant, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful. Just outside the hotel, there is a 7-Eleven, coffee shops, a pizza place, restaurants, and Starbucks. Although the hotel is a bit far from the main tourist areas, getting around is very convenient and affordable using a motorbike through the Grab app.
Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"Though the hotel is in an unexpected location (nestled among local houses), it's incredibly quiet, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are spotless. It's not just clean because it's new; the sheets and pillows are genuinely cleaned daily, and the staff truly put in the effort to maintain everything. I extended my stay multiple times and would love to come back again! However, I wouldn't recommend it for those who frequently visit District 1, as Grab rides cost around 350,000 VND one way, making it 700,000 VND round trip. I do wish there were an ashtray and some chairs on the rooftop."
"The reception staff and cleaning staff were very friendly and I had a comfortable stay. The room was clean and two bottles of mineral water were provided free of charge. There are convenience stores, cafeterias, restaurants, shopping malls, and everything you need nearby. The only drawback is that it's difficult to adjust the shower temperature. It gets hot and cold suddenly. However, considering the price of the accommodation, it's very cost-effective. I will definitely use this hotel again next time."
"Ant infestation! They do not spray for insects. I have noticed an ant or two from the first day I checked in. Then I unknowingly ate some. I have left some bread in a bag on the counter for 3 hours, then didn't pay attention when I grabbed a piece and put it in my mouth. I got bitten by the ants and had an alergic reaction. Only after that the staff came over to spray for ants. After that had no more problems.
Also the cleaning stuff is very stingy with replacing towels or supplies. I has to go down to the reception to ask for toilet paper, bath foam, towels, and tooth brush because they didn't replace new ones.
It's not an expensive hotel, but it's not dirt cheap either. At least you'd have some basic expectations. The only good place about this thing is the location."
"Good place to stay if you want some peace and quiet. It’s not on the city but rather in the neighbourhood area. Very friendly speaking English receptionist. I would stay here based if you need a quiet place. Would consider again staying here"
"I made a reservation at this hotel, but they took me to another hotel because they were looking for a room. That hotel is La Serena Boutique Hotel. If they had found all the rooms, they should have just stopped accepting my reservation. The hotel I went to after a long taxi ride had no responsibility for saying they had no rooms."
"Excellent apartment. The room was very clean and cozy. The only downside was the lack of a stove, but the fridge was good and spacious. The air conditioning was quiet, and there was no mold. The location was absolutely superb, a great neighborhood with plenty of 7/11s and similar stores. There are washing machines on the ground floor for guests to use. Definitely worth it!"
"I had a wonderful 3-night stay here from March 12-15, 2026. The hotel’s location in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, is perfect for both business and leisure, with easy access to local spots and amenities.
The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, complete with strong WiFi, 24-hour front desk service, and helpful staff who made check-in smooth even before 2 PM.
Overall, excellent value—clean facilities, friendly service, and a relaxing vibe. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!"

Amazing
TTravellingmaudeOne of the best hotel experiences I've had, and the first impression set the tone perfectly. Upon arrival, our bags were immediately taken by staff, and before we even reached the front desk, we were warmly greeted, guided to a seating area, and served fresh fruit, cold tea, and a refreshing wet towel — all while check-in was handled seamlessly. That kind of hospitality is rare.
We booked two rooms, both beautifully decorated in a unique cave-themed style. Each room came with a jacuzzi bathtub, excellent shower pressure, and an automatic bidet with a heated seat — thoughtful touches that made a real difference. The air-conditioning was wonderfully cold, a true relief in Vietnam's heat.
The toiletries were paraben-free, which I genuinely appreciated, and the hairdryer was a solid Dyson dupe, very functional and stylish. Room size was comfortable for two guests.
Breakfast was included, as was afternoon tea — both a lovely bonus. The location is incredibly convenient, within walking distance of Malaysia Street's halal eateries and Ben Thanh Market.
Exceptional value for money. Highly recommended, and I will absolutely be returning. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
GGuest UserLocated in District 1, this hotel is right in the heart of the tourist area, making transportation super convenient. It's also just a stone's throw away from Japan Town, which is a great place to explore and enjoy some delicious food. A special shout-out to Ka and Mike at the front desk for their excellent service!
AAnonymous UserPros:
Historic building, pleasant courtyard with an indoor pool.
Ample toiletries provided in the bathroom, not just single items.
Attentive staff for cleaning and delivering amenities.
Cons:
The staff don't seem to understand the concept of guest service. Breakfast waiters practically knock you over, trying to get past first. The person delivering luggage to the room told us, 'I'll go first, you take the next elevator.' 😂
Breakfast needs a special mention:
Breakfast hours are until 9:30 AM, but in other hotels in Ho Chi Minh City where we stayed, breakfast was until at least 10:00 AM or 10:30 AM. However, the breakfast time isn't the only issue; waiters start clearing tables and milk pitchers at 9:00 AM, instead of serving guests. They focus on cleaning and clattering dishes, subtly hinting that breakfast is over. Furthermore, not once during our entire stay did anyone offer to bring/pour coffee. Cappuccinos and lattes are made by a separate barista; you can't make these drinks yourself from the coffee machine. There are no freshly squeezed juices. And what's unacceptable is the sour and overcooked vegetables – broccoli and cauliflower. It's surprising that the hotel management isn't monitoring the quality of their establishment; for comparison, look at the Pullman hotel.
In the evening, the cleaning lady in the fitness center was making a lot of noise while cleaning the changing room, making it difficult to concentrate even with headphones on.
Suggestions for the hotel: Train the staff on service and sort out the breakfast issues.
AAileenzscThe room was clean, tidy, spacious, and very comfortable. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and thoughtful. It was great to be able to open the windows for fresh air. The breakfast fruit was fresh and delicious. Plus, the hotel's location on Ho Chi Minh Square made getting around super convenient.
VVictor HankIs very 5 star hotel and service is very high class. The room is also very clean. However, the room is abit squeezy but overall is good experience. One night SGD 160 is quite reasonable. The concierge team is very experience and friendly in helping us find a 24 hour clinic. The view at floor 25 is really good. They have an infinity pool at the rooftop which can see the whole of HCMC cityview.
FFitria LingWe had such a wonderful stay here and truly enjoyed the entire experience from beginning to end. The apartment was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family trip. I came with my second brother and nephew, and the 3-bedroom layout worked beautifully for us — my brother stayed in the master bedroom while my nephew and I each had our own cozy rooms with a shared bathroom. It gave everyone privacy while still feeling warm and homely together.
The living room was very spacious, with a lovely balcony and an absolutely amazing view overlooking the sea/river. Waking up to that view every day was one of the highlights of our stay. The large dining table was also great for us to gather and enjoy meals together.
The house was very well-equipped with complete kitchen utensils and amenities, including a washing machine, which made our stay even more convenient and comfortable.
What made the experience even more memorable was the warm hospitality. The welcome was incredibly thoughtful, and the host was extremely helpful throughout our stay, even recommending local food places for us to try. We genuinely felt cared for and welcomed like guests rather than just visitors.
Highly recommended for families or groups looking for a spacious, comfortable, and relaxing stay with beautiful views and wonderful hospitality. We would happily stay here again.
ZZmeyerLocated almost perfectly for Saigon's riverside - beautiful scenery, breezy, convenient for getting to the cityvattraction. Its a big apartment building, fresh and clean. Pool is not big and made mostly for children.
Flat wasnt so nice as it was on pictures. But its not bad, i like it. Main troubles were: no hot water in second bathroom, noisy aircons blocks just outside balcony. But: very good beds and bedlinens, very clean, all the utensils.
I have to say that guys from Rivergate central is just saints. They were able to solve a huge trouble created by ourselves. Thank you, u r great.
Yes, i will stay there again. Very good price for this unit and location - and unbeatable service.
*****赏樱花I went to Ho Chi Minh City with friends, but I didn't do my research well 😂. The hotel's location wasn't ideal; there was always traffic congestion, and it was quite far from the city center. If I were to go again, I think I would choose the Ben Thanh area. Otherwise, it was okay. It seems the hotel doesn't provide housekeeping for consecutive stays; we stayed two nights and they didn't give us new towels, so we had to ask the front desk for them when we got back at night.
BBerryman06The hotel would be great, if it didn’t have a few major issues. In the room one night we left a half eaten bag of biscuits on the bed side table and found it covered with small bugs in the morning, as well as a cockroach on the floor. As well, the sheets had what appeared to be blood stains from the previous visitors, which wasn’t great. Finally, a small thing was the room was quite dark, as the curtain couldn’t be opened.
The location of the hotel however was great.
