Pros - The location is excellent. Walking distance to many places of interest. Front desk and breakfast staff are excellent. The Front Desk staff and Bellhops are always friendly and helpful. Cons - We stayed 5 nights and housekeeps overlook providing towels for 2 occasions. Walls are a bit thin, not ideal for light sleepers ( We had a crying child next door). Breakfast area is small and starts from 7am. Breakfast area gets very crowded between 7am and 8am, some guests may not be able to find seats.

The Zen rooms here at this hotel are anything but. I guess they needed to find a name for their really small rooms with no windows that have the toilet and the shower on the same open closet together. Having your morning shower looking down at the hotel toilet has a way of creating a day dream that is far from zen. The hotel itself however, is immaculate and clean from the lobby to the rooms. It has a nice post modernistic design in the hotel, however the outside street at around 9pm transforms into a post apocalyptic, red light district (XXX). The streets are crawling with short skirted young girls propositioning men to deals. If that's your thing, this hotel might work great for you. The restaurant has 1/5 service. Food was 4/5 and amazing... but not once was i asked ”how is everything”, or ”can I get you anything else”. Very low scoring on the restaurant service and training of staff in the Restaurant. Also, the restaurant is located in the basement of the building. Weird feeling eating in basements.

Their breakfast although not a big spread is relatively decent. I opted for the premium room & we are very happy with the space and size. The room is new & clean. Counter staff are very polite and nice. The hotel is well located near Ben Tahn market but not too near the crowd and noise. Overall, it has been a delightful stay!

I booked a family connecting room, which is essentially two rooms next to each other with a connecting door. Since we're two adults and two kids, each child got their own bed. It was a pleasant surprise to find that we could watch domestic variety shows in Vietnam, which the kids absolutely loved! The service was also excellent; someone helped us with our luggage as soon as we got out of the car, and all the drinks in the mini-bar were complimentary. Although the hotel has been renovated, the rooms were quite tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. It's conveniently located close to Ben Thanh Market, Bui Vien Walking Street, and Saigon Centre, and directly opposite the Fine Arts Museum. It's truly a quiet oasis in a bustling area. Plus, there's a cafe and street banh mi stand right downstairs – so convenient!

I recently stayed at Ben Thanh Stay in Ho Chi Minh City and overall had a very enjoyable experience.The location is excellent—just a short walk from Ben Thanh Market, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The area is lively, with plenty of massage parlours and food stalls all around, so you’ll never run out of things to eat or do. It’s also a great spot for nightlife, as District K Club is right next door, making it ideal for party-goers. Plus, the famous Pizza 4P’s is only about 40 metres away.The owner, Ben, was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even smoother.However, this apartment may not be suitable for light sleepers. The music from the nearby club can be quite loud and typically lasts from around 11pm until 3am. That said, the owner does inform guests in advance and thoughtfully provides earplugs in the room.Overall, a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a central, vibrant location and don’t mind the nightlife noise.

The service was excellent, and the location is superb. The bus stop is right near the hotel, and the area has a lively, authentic vibe with many foreign visitors. It's super convenient for dining, shopping, and grabbing a coffee. The Vietnamese pho was delicious, with a wonderfully fragrant broth. The first picture is of Vietnamese drip coffee.

The hotel is right opposite Ben Thanh Market (I only realized this on my second day, as I checked in late on the first day), which is super convenient. Breakfast was decent. The staff member was very friendly and even walked me to my room, showing me how to use the key card and air conditioning.

This was my first trip to Southeast Asia, so I thoroughly researched hotels to find one that was clean and safe, and I decided on this one. It's conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Ben Thanh Market, which is great for getting around. Plus, Grab is always available. Late at night, I did notice tiny ant-like bugs, smaller than a millimeter, crawling on the bedside table, but I never saw any during the day. Housekeeping came daily, which was wonderful because I had fresh bath towels every day to dry my face and body. Just like Japanese hotels, there aren't face towels or pajamas. The hairdryer is a powerful Japanese brand; it's not fancy, but it dries hair thoroughly. There's no bathtub. The amenities are comprehensive, including a toothbrush, cotton swabs & cotton pads, razor, soap, and a comb. You also get two free bottles of water daily, which are replenished during cleaning. This was a lifesaver in the intense heat. Breakfast is served on the top floor from 7 AM to 9 AM. If you arrive close to 9, they'll still let you eat past the time. There's a fruit buffet, and you can order anything you like from the menu. All dishes come with a large baguette, making them quite filling 🥖. I had so many other things I wanted to try, so on my last day, I just had fruit. All the hotel staff were friendly, kind, and very pleasant. They were quick to open doors and immediately helped carry my heavy luggage. I arrived at the hotel around 9:30 AM after landing at the airport that morning. To my surprise and great relief, they checked me into my room immediately since one was available. Check-out was until 1 PM, which allowed me to go out, come back, and pack my bags. They even stored my luggage until the evening. I was quite anxious about traveling to an unfamiliar place, but I'm truly glad I chose this hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and safe hotel in the mid-price range!

The room size was okay, and the location was decent, quite close to Binh Thanh Market, which is good for buying brand-name goods. However, the cleanliness was generally poor. The front desk looked dirty, and I definitely won't be staying here again. The bathroom was very small and in terrible condition. There's a money changer nearby with a long queue, but the exchange rate is pretty good; it's already 3800 now. You can see the shop name in the last two pictures.

Great location on a side street, so it's quiet at night with no traffic noise. The hallway is bright, and the room is clean and new, with a fridge and TV. There's hot water, but unfortunately, the water pressure is a bit low. Other than that, everything is very good, and I recommend it! Breakfast is a buffet with pho, fruit, and some Vietnamese snacks, which was pretty good.
