Sublime and authentic onsen experience here. Perfect couples retreat with private onsen facing the mountains and overlooking the gorge. Breakfast and dinner are beautifully presented and delicious. Cannot recommend enough.

Everything is good without any complaints. Food, room and facilities are excellent. I like everything. The hotel is close to all sceneries and easy to locate. Highly recommended.

A truly wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Iya Valley. We had a very warm welcome, and our Traditional Japanese room was great with its own hot bath on a private balcony. The food is exceptional, both in taste and presentation. Every member of staff was very attentive and went out of their way to accommodate my wife’s dietary requirements. Staff even came to wave us off when we left. Highly recommended. We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights.

Such a great location with wonderful views of the Iya Valley. Even though the staff didn’t speak much English, everyone went above and beyond to assist us. They helped us book a taxi to and from the hotel to Oboke station with no fuss. Dinner was excellent with specialties from the area, and included,, several traditional dishes from the area and delicious soba noodles from the above restaurant. The private hot bath was a great way to enjoy the sensational view.

This hot spring hotel has a very Japanese flavor. The service staff is friendly and thoughtful with a smile. The dinner is very rich and the breakfast is delicious. You can enjoy the beautiful Iya Valley while soaking in the hot spring in the room. It is a great enjoyment for people who are tired from traveling. The hot spring water is of good quality, which moisturizes the skin and restores the spirit. It is a good hotel worth recommending.

The hotel is as its name suggests, a secluded hotel with few rooms, small and quiet. The hotel is family run and they pay attention to every detail to make guests feel at home. Each room has an open-air bath and massage chair, making the place very comfortable. The dinner was a pleasant surprise, with a charcoal fire full of local flavor and very warm. After checking out, we were also invited to their restaurant for free coffee or tea. As we drove away, he kept watching us leave. It is a hotel that you will miss.

A pleasant journey

We drove there, parking in front of the hotel was free, and we got two meals per stay. The staff were very attentive and took the initiative to carry our luggage and introduce the room to us, and some of them could speak English. The room has enough space and good supplies. Japanese yukata is provided. The private bath faces the mountain view and is soothing, but be sure not to open the window because there are too many bugs outside. The late breakfast included was so rich and delicious. It is also very close to the tourist attractions of Dabu Ke.

The staff at the hot spring hotel are very friendly, the room is very comfortable, and the hot spring water is very slippery. I will choose to stay here again next time I visit Iya
