Perugia Park Hotel ★★★★

📍 Via A. Volta, 1, Ponte San Giovanni

"Advise. Highly recommend this hotel because the rooms are spotless, the staff is very kind, the breakfast is super, not only in quantity but also in quality which is all excellent."

Hotel S. Ercolano
8.2 (52 reviews)

Hotel S. Ercolano ★★

📍 via del Bovaro, 9, Perugia

"Absolutely terrible. I thought hotels in smaller towns would offer better value for money, but the opposite was true, just like prices in rural areas aren't necessarily lower than in cities. The single room had a persistent smell of smoke that just wouldn't go away. This is the only hotel I've ever stayed in that's been this bad; I opened the windows for hours to ventilate, but it didn't help. Like many places in Italy, the heating was only available for limited hours, and I was woken up freezing. They only gave me a blanket and a sheet to cover myself with. The soundproofing was incredibly poor; I was woken up in the middle of the night by a family coming home from outside. I was furious! How could they stay out so late in this small town?"

Hotel Tevere Perugia
8.1 (56 reviews)

Hotel Tevere Perugia ★★★

📍 Via Mario Bochi, 14, Ponte San Giovanni

"We stayed in this hotel for two nights. I suppose it is in a strategic place as close to the mouths for the various shadows. The hotel is standing in the 1980s but for those like me who were the most beautiful years I also appreciated it. Unpleasant cleaning The rooms are equipped with air conditioner and are quite large. Abundant and varied breakfast and very friendly staff. We had dinner in their restaurant and the food was varied and very good. Large parking. The only negative note is the bathroom."

Sangallo Palace
9.3 (131 reviews)

Sangallo Palace ★★★★

📍 Via Luigi Masi, 9, Perugia

"Modern room, clean and tidy, with a bus stop downstairs and not far from Minimetro station. To be honest, the whole city center is not very big."

The Bank Hotel - Etruria Collection
9.2 (51 reviews)

The Bank Hotel - Etruria Collection ★★★★

📍 Corso Pietro Vannucci, 78, Perugia

"Not sure why The Bank Hotel does not rate much higher. Fabulously large room, on the square, with an incredible bathroom. Very large bed with comfortable mattress - a great sleep. While the hotel breakfast is across the street, I found the separation to be a benefit. The hotel room felt more AirBnb, yet when I called the front desk, service was at my door very promptly. A true bargain, yet quality. And the breakfast at Loconda della Posta was exceptionally well provided. Lastly, the front desk as helpful and friendly."

Primavera Mini Hotel
9.3 (44 reviews)

Primavera Mini Hotel ★★★

📍 Via Vincioli, 8, Perugia

"I booked this hotel because I wanted to watch Ishikawa Yuki's volleyball match in Perugia. I was able to get to the match venue in less than 30 minutes using the mini-metro. It was a very cute hotel, and the bathrooms were clean. Also, an espresso machine and bread were prepared in the room, and although I had to leave early the next day, I was grateful that I could get up early and have a leisurely breakfast. The only things that bothered me were the noise of the ventilation fan and the lack of curtains, but these weren't particularly big issues. Above all, the owner was very kind. He even told me what to do if I got home late after visiting tourist attractions or watching a volleyball match, so I was able to stay there in a very comfortable and safe environment."

Little Italy Hostel Ex Chiesa S Donato
8.2 (30 reviews)

Little Italy Hostel Ex Chiesa S Donato ★★

📍 Via Ulisse Rocchi, 29, Perugia

"We left that same evening. The place was full of immigrants. We arrived at 7 PM and found everyone drunk, the air unbreathable, and the smell of ethnic food. The room was clean, but the beds weren't made, with the sheets folded and draped over the mattress. I don't consider it a safe place for a family."

Borgo Mandoleto - Country Resort & Spa Hotels in Perugia

Borgo Mandoleto - Country Resort & Spa

"Soaking-Up The Umbrian Countryside We spent a very pleasant 3 nights at this small, charming bed & breakfast. The rooms at the Borgo Mandoleto were large and tastefully decorated in a countryside theme. The grounds were beautiful, and there were many places (including the swimming pool) to sit with a coffee or an aperitivo and soak-up the beautiful Umbrian countryside. There is a good restaurant next to the B&B, and several sites [Perugia, La Citta della Pieve, Lago di Trasimeno, and Solemeo (for a wonderful aperitivo)] are within a short drive. Donatella was a gracious hostess who served a nice breakfast (the tortes are not to be missed) with very good English."

Domus Volumnia Country House Hotels in Perugia

Domus Volumnia Country House

"Small and quaint accommodation establishment located right outside Perugia, in a quiet setting with beautiful surroundings and views. Breakfast was very good and staff were very nice and helpful. The only drawback is that since it is an old building, there is no lift. For the rest, I would definitely recommend for those staying at Perugia."

Rosetta Hotel Perugia Tapestry Collection by Hilton

"Liked · Beautiful and stylish art-deco style hotel with modern touches, and you can feel that it's newly renovated. The location of this hotel is great, right in the heart of Perugia and right in the main shopping street leading up to the main town square. The overall ambiance in this hotel is great! Breakfast was very good, with many fresh options to choose from and a very nicely and dreamy decorated breakfast room. We really enjoyed the fact that you could have breakfast up untill 11.00 o'clock, as this gives you the opportunity to sleep in if you like to. The restaurant waiting staff was also very kind and welcoming. The room is spacious enough and very clean. We got some local chocolates as a welcome gift, and the room came with one complementary water bottle a day. There was also a clothes steamer in the room which was quite nice, as clothes can come out of the suitcase quite wrinkled. Disliked · During check-in, we were said to be given a free room upgrade. However, when arriving in the room, I could not see what the upgrade was as this appeared to be the exact room type that we booked. Still a great room though! We knew this when booking in advance but a small minus when travelling by car is that this hotel has no private parking. However, you could use public parking Piazza Partigiani down the hill, which is only a small walk and can be reached in 5-10 minutes by taking about 5 escalators. The AC in the room was a bit strong, as it was pointed right onto the bed. As we had a room on one of the high floors, the room heat up quite fast. Also, the room came with an enormous terrace but there was no outdoor furniture."

"The hotel is very well located next to the entrance to the escalator, which takes you to the top in 5 minutes. I would especially like to note how attentive they are when checking in, everything is very fast and thorough. Kettle in the room - very useful"

Hotel Umbria Hotels in Perugia

Hotel Umbria

"This is a charming, good value for money, friendly little hotel located just 5 or so minutes from the main pedestrianised central area of Perugia's old town. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus terminal (the train station is much further away, but there are city buses that connect the terminal to the old town). If driving, there are car parks nearby. Despite being so centrally located in the old town, it is very quiet and I slept really well the two nights I stayed here. The hotel staff are super helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. Great water pressure and lots of hot water in the shower (but it has to be the tiniest shower cubicle I've ever been in - making the bathroom a shower wet room would be the solution). It has a cosy breakfast room and a charming little terrace as well (open in the warmer months). I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Umbria!"

Deco Hotel Hotels in Perugia

Deco Hotel

"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and has a relaxing stay. A strength point is certainly the courtesy of staff, always available, professional and careful to the needs of guests. The location is comfortable to reach both the center of Perugia and the main attractions of the area. I appreciated the tranquility of the environment and the excellent quality-price ratio. I strongly advise the Hotel Deco to anyone who seeks comfort, reception and a perfect service during your stay in Perugia. I will surely return to you."

Perugia Plaza Hotel Hotels in Perugia

Perugia Plaza Hotel

"After a short stay in Lubliana, in our trip to Rome, we choose to stay one night for transit in Perugia, and I decided Perugia Plaza Hotel is our best option. We it`s look like we choose smart. The hotel it`s big, clean and the staff are very polite and speak english very well, despite the fact italian language can be easy understand. Nevertheless, we had a nice stay, even if it was for night. The rooms are quite well eqquiped with everything you might need. Breakfast was enough and more than okay, with everything you wish. The king size beds make our stay even more confortable. Parking place was a plus, because they had their own spot for cars. So, from my point of view, the hotel it`s run with proffesionalism and I will reccomand to stay.."

Times Suites Hotels in Perugia

Times Suites

"The room we stayed in was beautiful and faced the small plaza and arch and steps that lead up to the center of the historic town. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our concerns. Breakfast was welcome and provided good coffee, pastries, toast, fruit and eggs if you wanted them. The only reason I am giving four instead of five was that the bed was very firm, which we don’t like. But everything else about the hotel is charming and the location is wonderful. An easy walk to the mini metro, and some of the best restaurants we visited in Italy were right nearby."

CorteViva Boutique B&B Hotels in Perugia

CorteViva Boutique B&B

"What a great base to explore Umbria. Federico was a brilliant host, attentive and informative. When we expressed interest he went out of his way and took time to show us the property and all of the precious antiques, some dating from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The room was very large, the bed was really king sized and very comfortable, and the shower was the best we have had in all of Italy. We appreciated the secure off road parking. The common areas were very comfortable and the breakfast was fine, the sweets were made fresh every day by Federico's mother Mariella and served by his father Leandro! The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Umbrian countryside, from Assisi to Orvieto to Spoleto and everything in between. We stayed four nights and would have loved to stay longer. A highlight of our trip!"

La Locanda Paradiso Hotels in Perugia

"This hotel is a beautiful gem! My family and I visited the area for a wedding and needed somewhere near Perugia airport for one night. The hotel exceeded all expectations with the staff who are extremely hospitable, beautifully clean bedrooms and the option of choosing your own wine in the cellar. We will definitely be going back for longer. "

The Bank Hotel - Etruria Collection ★★★★
"The hotel is located in the center of Perugia so you have access to restaurants, cafes, shopping, splendid views of the valley; and did I mention shopping!!! There was also convenient access to the main stage as well as other venues to enjoy the Umbria Jazz Festival. The room was spacious and well provisioned with upmarket, en-suite bathrooms. The staff was cheerfully helpful, ensuring that my stay in Perugia was seamless and memorable. I plan to return next year as well. Many thanks to the competent and gracious staff."
